  • What's better than a Friedman amp? Two! I couldn't pass up the opportunity to plug in this compact but seriously powerful little rig. Running the Little Sister and Pink Taco together gives you a huge tone due to the different characters but also responses.

    S I C K !
    I so need this in my life.
    The PT is sticking out big time in a VERY good way.
    The left/right separation with hard left, hard right mix the PT stands out like a thick n rich peanut butter sandwich...what?
    The PT is smokin!

    Massive sounds Dan! Would be cool to try some Eventide Micropitch between the two, or even a PCM41/42 style delay on one for some Sykes tones :)

      Cheers mate! I even thought about micro pitch or chorus on the day but didn’t have anything with me! Wet / Dry / Wet next time 😉

    Hi Dan, Dan and Mick would be proud of that, except they can’t get that really wide stereo as good as you did. Great playing great sound.

      Cheers dude! I did go pretty heavy on the panning but I liked it too much to be sensible 🤣

    This is a GREAT demo. Well done, Dan. What pups are in that LP? I went with the Little Sister solely because I could only choose one, and it sounded very close to the PT. And, with a Buxom Boost (or Tumnus) even better….yet, it cleans up extremely well, with a killer warm vintage Marshall clean (IMO). But, I just watched a Demo of the PT V2, from a channel called “Cragginshred” who used a Koko boost on his PT V2, and it was jaw-dropping, astonishing. Actually, all his demo’s are. He’s got it pretty cranked, and you can really hear it open up and get punchy. I’ll get one when the funds allow, based on the tones he was able to get, alone. My only hang up with it was the complete absence of a clean channel. Again, Kudos to Dan. Excellent, video.

    Sounds mint! I picked up a second hand Friedman Runt 20 a while ago which sounded great, but the version 1 effects loop was shit! It almost sounded like as soon as you plugged in to the loop the master was taken out of the circuit and it went to full volume; it was so noisy that it was unusable at home volumes. Shame.
    These two sound great together though. Looking forward to more band stuff.

    I may have missed it and am not familiar with the Friedman details... but what speakers are in the cabs? Great tones there. Mr Leggatt.

    Dan- excellent demo! Do you think the Little Sister is loud enough for gigging in small/medium club without going through the PA? Thanks.

    • @DanLeggatt
      @DanLeggatt  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would definitely say so, I used it for some band jams on the day this was recorded and only had it on about 4 and it was plenty loud. Obviously it will depend of the cab and how loud the band is.

      @@DanLeggatt Update: Since my post - I bought it with the open back Friedman cab with 12" speaker. Did an outdoor gig -plenty loud. Your were right on the money!

    Perhaps a little too much tone overload. Both great by themselves but I personally prefer the LS. A sound that good needs to be savoured.
