I was going to make a headboard for my bed and saw many youtube vids on how to do it but only saw a picture of yours - no video or plans, just a picture. So I winged it. Tried once and it didn't work so that one got scrapped. Second try worked - yay! And then I saw this video. I didn't realize that you glued the mountains onto the back sky panel. I cut all the sky panels to fit the mountains. What a time consuming , finicky job. Your method is so much simpler. I will be making other wall art and will use your method. Thanks for the video.
Lovely, relatively simple project. I thought you were going to inset the mountain and was pleased to see it left proud of the background. There could even be several levels of pieces depending on how differentiated parts of the scene should be. Thank you, Colwin et al!

What product did you use to make the dyes? And what did you tint them with?
