- Have you ever stopped and consider for a moment the possibility of doing something special in your life?
Something that makes you feel very scared and at the same time gives you butterflies in your stomach, just thinking about it.
I have, several times actually, and every time I have done it, I have created new possibilities for myself and others that I care for.
Remote refurbishing, just like remote purchasing has created the opportunity for many to push the boundaries of possibilities and in returned the have conquered a dream or realised a vision.
Refurbishing a property is the easiest part of the journey, having your vision turned into a reality is the challenging part of the task.
Remote Purchasing requires a rare ability, an ability that was gifted to me, a gift that I treasure and protect.
I listen, I feel, I hear, I touch and deliver people desires, turning their visions into reality. I go beyond that by feeling their concerns, their worries and in doing so, I do everything that is in my power to protect and deliver.
Thank you to the beautiful people that trust the process and vision, a vision of a world made of positive energies
Thank you to Salve Salento, or what we call, our Nuova Famiglia
With Love
Davide
I never tire of watching the artisans work.
I struggle myself to walk off site some days 🙏😍
I totally agree
Some days I wish I was there to help lay in the new plaster.
Hats off to builders in days gone by..achieving such beauty without todays modern machinery .....👍
Well I must admit, doing the same work 100 years ago was much harder, but the access to workers was easier 🙏
Incredible progress and results so far. I cannot imagine what the finished product will look like. You had a great canvass and your tradesmen are very talented.
Finish product will take shape after the summer 🤩🤩🤩
Nice project Davide!! it doesn’t get much better than this folks such joy watching you guys doing all the right things behind the scenes, i can’t wait to see completion!
This is the type of projects that you can’t afford to rush. Building has been there for centuries, it needs care and attention and a large amount of respect
I love your videos. Your passion and love for each building is so evident.
They talk to me 🙏⭐️
Davide, this is becoming more and more incredible as every day passes. My hat is off to you dear sir.
Thank you, keeping a high level of concentration and vision, always delivers the best result 🤩
Love this project 💚💚💚
Me too, I love how the space flows
Simply wonderful videos. Maybe it's because I've been around construction all my life, and I love the restoration process you show. In 2025, I'll begin our journey to Italy to find a home.
What a wonderful and creative world that is, made of thousands little decisions that no one ever sees or recognises, almost like the thousands brush strokes that make a work of art a masterpiece
Good luck with your journey 🙏⭐️
That is one heck of a property. Fine work being done
That’s one way of putting it 🙏 gradually going back to full splendour
Davide, i love your attention to detail and how you explain the materials used, their purpose & where they come from, do you have a video which explains the costs of a quality renovation? I’m sure a lot of us would be interested as most Italian home tour videos brush it off as “you could probably renovate for €30k which I find quite comical. I look forward to the weekly renovation update with you, so glad I found you❣️ Michelle 🇦🇺 ps can you add subtitles so we can learn so Italian 🫶🏻
Hi Michelle, I don’t want to be evasive, but unfortunately the cost of refurbishing or in some cases restoring are very much related to the level of quality someone wants to achieve. When I talk about quality I also refer to the quality of living people would like to reach. The longevity of certain materials versus others. The type of workers you engage, getting the certifications you need at the of a project and so on. Over the years I have seen many cowboys, and diy specialist, creating some real monsters 🙏
Back to your question, I often say to budget for €1500 to €2000 per sqm if you would like a nice finish job.
If you invest the money, in return you get quality of living, which is the only thing that count and you can’t set a value to that 🙏
@@salentowithlove3314 we have just done an extensive renovation on our little coastal country house on the Sunshine Coast in australia. Thankfully Hubby has been in the building game for 35+ years and we’ve achieved a lot of it ourselves, we extended the house to make better use of the living areas which basically trippled the cost rather than just sprucing up the area we had to work with, it it’s been well worth the effort and added costs to have a beautiful home that suits our needs, the only thing we’ve outsourced is plumbing and tiling, Hubby having the skills as a plaster/setter, render, bricklayer & electrical apprentice has saved us tens of thousands of dollars as we tore the house back to the brick walls and timber trusses. Thanks for taking us on the journey 🫶🏻
@@One_Crazy_Dog_Mum I renovated, my house in London in 2007, I personally and physically did the entire house, I outsourced the electrician and few other specialist. I also promised myself, never again ⭐️ I’m very often tempted to go to my own building site and get dirty, yes I would save thousands, but I would also loose the ability to step back and achieve the best.
Now I step back, I contemplate and I instruct, this allows me to achieve the maximum result ⭐️🙏
Thank you, thank you, thank you (mille grazie...) for sharing this calming eye-candy with us !!! (btw, your English is very, very fine but the title of your Friday show should be "Thank God it's Friday" -- it's always the little words in the newer language that trip us up ;-) )
Thank you 🙏😍 I’ll tell Ludovica to make the changes ⭐️⭐️
I'm trying to get my head around the cost of a renovation. Is this something I can do for $300,000? Love your work, but I need the budget to work.
Hi Paul, if you work on the criteria of 1500/2000 euros per sqm you can work out your budget, the formula obviously gets mitigated by the level of restoration or refurbishment you would like to achieve. Certain finishing elements, such as floors, lighting, bathroom accessories etc, can drive the budget in any direction you like
I saw you in Lecce and now I am moving there.
Very happy for you 🙏
Yes I remember bumping into you 🙏
Love seeing it transform! Will it be sold after?
Sold before the restoration, doing the work for an amazing couple ⭐️🤩
I am interested in purchasing a property in Soleto , and am wondering what this type of renovation would cost?
Grazie
The cost of a restoration or renovation very much depends on the condition of the property and on the standard you would like to achieve, finishes can be the deal breaker, but also what makes this buildings very special again
@@salentowithlove3314 Grazie, on a medium standard of finishing do you know what it would cost per square meter? I know my questions are vague, yet I am to get a rough estimate.
✨✨🇮🇹♥️
@@clearvibrations8006 I would say €1500 to €2000 sqm
Obviously in ratio you will need to add all of those areas that are not considered floor space
Stairs, roof terrace, facade, balconies or verandas, garden

Subtitles hummm I believe there is a button CC that you press and they appear 🙏
@@salentowithlove3314 no I pressed all the buttons but it didn’t translate much. Thanks for the amazing video’s anyway 🫶🏻
