As black families we also need to talk about change of mindset. Apartheid system from what we hear made a black person to believe less about himself. Can we learn and instill positive mindset in our next generation
This is one of the most important platforms for SA, anditsho nje. Every episode has been very educational and engaging and gives you something to think about. Good job to this production. I'm a fan
Mina nje ngibona ukuthi ni add 60 more minutes, these are beautiful and important conversations kant 'iskhathi sincane. Always great seeing u mama Connie Chiume no mama Lilian Dube. Okay. But please , iskhathi .. Aseblief.!?
Asian culture, especially Korean and Indian, live the practice of so-called "black tax". Parents educate and tend their children, and the understanding is that when the children are working, they then in return take care of their parents... to the point that as they age or are in pension age, they move into your space with your new family. Furthermore, having lived in numerous countries abroad, the government of these countries provide tax payments for any member in the working class who has a parent or parent in law in the pension age.
Nimrod is so good with holding a dialogue, good community skills, very wise and matured...I wish he could lead all the episodes in these conversations... *unxilile* 😂😂... I agree with Moshe ayy that guy is really off topic and really taking non sense...we need matured and wise people for the panel please.
I believe the black family unit is evolving but with that said we need to keep the family values that kept our forfathers in the functioning communities they had. Our children need to be taught responsibility, accountability and commitment when you decide to engage with the other sex(vice versa).Marriage is the foundation of a healthy family structure. Kids need to be raised in two parent households.
These is what the boys need to here and I agree with everything cause I have experienced raising two kids one is just being maintained but father is not present and other father is just absent
I think this conversation are needed with an audience to interact with..........yes we appreciate the panelists but they are marginalized because they are speaking for themselves nevertheless thnQ milk stout for this conversation. I think we need the next topic shld be our townships and we also must be included not only celebrities or known figures🎉
Yazi le ndaba yama black families needs another conversation. It is so crucial for us young people to listen and have dialogues about it. My 2 cent is that economic systems and social media are major influences when it comes to black relationships. Eskathini sa'manje all you need as a guy is to just have money and you can pretty much get most ladies. Like you no longer even have to be a good person. You just need to have money. Lokho kuyenza the standard to be so low, which spills down to people having children unplanned and with no family planning. Ladies khuphulani i'standard please because as ama'awthi yonke into siyenzela nina. If you could look at kahle kahle.
#Truth from ma 2xstep Rings generation.... This is why I will never respect a person who splits or helps split a Black Family. If TODAY they can split a Family, TOMMORROW they can split a nation. But personally lets play the game and continue destroying future communities. Extended family's are destroyed by Feuds and competition leading to Spiritual Warfare, which can't be shared in the open
As a young woman, I would like to thank this platform, I'm definitely learning each and every episode. ❤
That's amazing to hear Nthabi! Siyabonga.
These kind of conversations need to be held more often in this morally deteriorating society
We totally agree Wandi!
Bab Nimrod is so well articulate and wise, there so much truth and wisdom in his speech.
Thank you Castle Milk Stout for yet another AMAZING conversation 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾.
Danko Huli!
44:55 Banele Rewo said "... forgive your parents " profound advice
Conversations that need to trend because this is how we build a society
As black families we also need to talk about change of mindset. Apartheid system from what we hear made a black person to believe less about himself. Can we learn and instill positive mindset in our next generation

Not Mama Connie talking about girls not eating eggs right when I was indulging in them 😊 This was a nice conversation
I know of a family where the girls did not eat eggs and they matured much quicker than me, i.e., teenage pregnancy
Shout out Smash for his fresh reasoning and season with his cheating self

This is an insightful conversation and we need to have more of these conversations.

Banele don't make sense 😅
I was so disappointed in him, he speaks like a typical kasi gent that doesn’t care
Can they add ordinary South Africans who are not popular, we always hear from the same people. Diversity can add value.
Cut the long intros guys for more time for conversation
I understand helping your parents, but siblings kids ? Also I’m an only child, I might be removed.
Banele is making a few good points but he is just an angry man, and to a certain extent he is not making sense.
Even our adults can't give each other a chance to finish talking🥲 #BasicRespect
Lot of sobering conversations…🫱🏿🫲🏾💚👏🏿…base Mbo Siyabulela/Kwandele asivimbi…masigoduke…✌🏿💚🫱🏿🫲🏾
