I got a question. I went threw 6 stock fuel rails because of the Bosch 044. I went back to the walbro 255 until I put my billet rail on. But anyways I use the second fitting at the sump for a return. Is this why I blew apart so many rails? Each time the rail would develop a leak would be in a different spot. Crazy? What you think?
Hm. That's tricky, it shouldn't have anything to do with the pump if the lines were exactly the same. I also returned back into the second fitting on the sump for a bit but I was worried about swirling and aerating the fuel so I never went to the track that way.
@@2300gearjammer I used the 88 turbo coupe factory lines and all when I first got the swap done. Then I cut the floor out and put a 16 gallon jazz poly cell. So I got an earls fitting on the stock style fuel filter to the pump and a filter then 11 inches of fuel injection hose. And I also have a fitting on the return line to an fitting to the sump.
@@Justa4banger79 that's wild. I don't really know about that one. We will see if I have any similar issues. This car is going to get beat worse than the ranger. Lol
Okay….I’ll make the first stupid guess…lines hooked up to prime the pump and or clear the new tank out??. Is there a door prize for participating?🤣
Haha well there isn't really an answer I'm giving anyway so you can just count yourself as correct.
@@2300gearjammer yes!!!!! In that case, I knew I was right 🤣🤣🤣

How was the line connected to the factory rail?

Did you have a big adjustable FPR mounted to the rail by chance? That's a known cause of cracked rails. The small Kirban regulators don't crack them.
when your decide you dont want that pinto anymore can I have it I love pintos and cant find any buy me any more ...lol
Every step further I get, it's closer to nobody ever wanting it again. 😂
