How much money you got in your engine I've got a 85 ranger with new creat motor from autozone just curious how much it cost to build one

I was born in 93 but i got a 95 ranger i would like to turbo so right now it started getting hot and would not stay cool so idk whats up i guess a rad. Cap or thermostat ? But no head gasket damage that i know of. And you was talking about changing pistons i thought that was serious business but it seemed not so like something i couldn do. But cool video i found it looking to understand ehat all is a turbo and what all does it hook to whats the whole story about it. Thanks and im glad to see more videos . God bless you buddy.

What transmission is in that? I have a SVO Bo cam and head 53/55 precision gutted upper and lower with bobs log and 3" out the back on the meth. Its on a stock bottom end b4 I blow that up I am putting crower rods and carillo pistons, arp and yes its studded running stock head gasket so I am down to transmission choice. I dont have a lot of money for the trans but I will run the king cobra clutch thats in it as it has 1000 miles on it if I go rebuilt and shimmed t5 with slicks not drag radials as I am to understand those are trans killers. I will run the real carbon fiber syncros blocker rings not the china crap people pawn off or just save for a TKX. Your trans seems PROVEN if a T5. Any advice? The motor on the meth has made 387/438. Really would love some help if you still do this combo as I live mine. Oh its on a PIMP no flat shift program yet and what rpm do you launch at?

why no head studs?

I have a 2.3 out of a mustang that we use for off road racing on a ford ranger, and weve been having a lot of issues with the distributor gears breaking, I just saw you mentioned having issues with the stock oil pump, what oil pump would you recommend for my application being N/A?

Im working on a 1985 thunderbird tc and it doesn't have a spout connector like you showed it just has what seems to be a regular connector is that normal? Im in the process of trying to get it running and ive been having all kinds of trouble i bypassed the fuel pump in the tank with a high pressure inline supposed to be 118psi and im having no luck gettin injectors to work i just replaced icm tested the pickup with a sensor tester and it seems fine injector wires have power one both sides when plugged in so i unplugged and tested for ground and its seems to pulse but then i noticed the timing was a tooth or so off so i fixed that and now im gonna restab the dissibutor like you show and try some more im really about to take a hammer to this thing it fires with carb cleaner but seem to not be getting fuel. Any clues would be much appreciated sorry for the life story but im beyond frustration at this point.

So... I've been thinking about building a bad ass lil 2.3L with turbo for years that I can throw in my little MG Midget (yes, its setup for a lot of V8 power as of now). Cam across this video by happenstance and truly enjoyed it. Question's 1. How much "real" power can I get out of a turbo 2.3L for the street? 400, 500, 600HP? And, 2: What cam should I run?

I had 86thunder bird turbo coupe my friend at the milwaukee police dept built the motor i was running 12.31 quatermiles at union grove 117mph that was 1994
