It seems quite popular and a lot of people like it! It has been noted to be kind of campy, but a lot of people have fun with that, especially seeing since it’s a drama-so many people are here for that drama. 😆 It helps that to emphasize that drama, it feels quite cinematic in terms of its shots but also its use of slow-mo, which people have commented lingers lovingly on dramatic shots, including shots of skin for both the male and female leads. And people seem to enjoy the character arcs, the ending, and the romance! *Spoilers:* It was originally slated for a bad ending but one of the actors advocated for a good one, so it was changed. Which feels fulfilling in the eyes of many fans. And it’s a plot about women’s revenge, which is also fun to see. Finally, it’s rated an 8.9 on MyDramaList, a popular Asian drama review platform, and I believe it did well in China too and has become part of the slightly exclusive club of cdramas that Netflix has added to their library (other examples include _Cang Lan Jue_ and _Hidden Love,_ which are also known as having left a legacy). And finally, a Tumblr post advocating people watch it with one of those “shitty PowerPoint” memes has like a thousand notes (likes and reblogs) at this point, so I think it’s safe to say people enjoy it enough to recommend it. 😆
Absolutely brilliant waiting for next series ❤❤❤❤
Love the editing in this with the dialogue. It really highlights how cinematic it can feel. 🥺
Is this good ?
The editing sure makes a good impression
