I had no idea of a gap of age between them. I only saw a MAN and a WOMAN who set the screen on fire with their gazes and a latent and subtle passion, simmering, in a very entertaining series with excellent action. Applauses !
I really like your description of Wang Xing Yue's Duke Su. Wang Xing Yue shined in this role so much ! But I hope his next drama will be in a crime contemporary show where he plays the bloody villain sociopath/serial killer rich manipulative CEO who have ties with illuminaties and devoid of any empathy. And WuJinYan gets to play the messy medium people in society find funny cause of her "alien look" and who helps the police get clues about the criminal while fighting corruption. It would be a challenging role for him and Wu Jin Yan. And then he can play the nice goofy young man/ Sunny modest boy role which is close to his real life personality

Her performance in Fighting Youth is superlative - portraying a smart, naive, bumbling young girl with such optimistic vivacious approach to challenges - exactly acting out the title role of Fighting Youth. However, in the Bargain Queen, her co-star and the weak script was a big fail - unable to capitalise WJY acting versatility - subjecting her to ridiculuous unrealistic situations eg having her to pursue the ML?! due to silly missed opportunities and misunderstandings?! In the end, a strong, creative and sophisticated script that brings out the best from the cast is the secret of success.

I absolutely love her in The Double, I am definitely going to watch The Story of Yanxy Palace, the costumes in that look delightful. What I really loved about her character in The Double was that her character was not the typical trope of innocent girl, she was a pre-married intelligent self-aware woman who was confidant in her wants, and her betrayal from her first husband made her less naive and able to recognize that Duke Su was am actual good man to her. It was a refreshing look, quite modern, to imply a divorced woman still has value and is worthy of new love.

I was emotional growing up and went through a lot of crying in high school and college. When my dad passed, i was devastated, cried so much i thought my life would be over. Days and nights, for weeks i cried. After a short mourning period, i said to myself that i don't wanna cry anymore and i don't want to have to feel that pain ever again in my lifetime. And i haven't shed a tear since. So i understand clearly, the story and how the pain she went through changed her. Amazing show.

I’ve never had a problem with her acting. She was amazing in Yanxi palace and I also really enjoyed her acting in Legend of Haolan. The double is really really good. Her acting here is very on par with Yanxi Palace. And the drama itself is wonderful as well, from the casts to the plot, especially her chemistry with the male lead ahh. I've always love Wu Jinyan's acting as well as the series I have seen her in. I know if she is in a something, the photography and costumes are going to be good, and for the most part, the sets. Interesting folks would be bothered that characters don't cry all the time, because that's the thing I find pretentious most of the time.

It's not Wu Jinyan's performance but the viewers associated her with her character in the Story of Yanxi Palace when she played a different character. The director is the anchor in making a successful drama project, if the director is not satisfied with the performance of the actors they can always reshoot the scenes. I like her in the drama with Johnny Huang. They both have a better performance. But I don't like her lead partner in My Bargain Queen. Wu Jinyan and her partner in My Bargain Queen were just performing the character but lack chemistry.
The fact that people criticized her role in Royal Feast lets me know folks are haters. She was great in that role because she showed a completely different acting skill which was subdue and sweet. I think people couldn’t let go of her Wei Yulong character in Yanxi Palace that critics and fans boxed her in that character…Just admit yall wanted to see replica’s of that character in each role she plays in .

I’ve never had a problem with her acting. She was amazing in Yanxi palace and I also really enjoyed her acting in Legend of Haolan. The double is really really good. Her acting here is very on par with Yanxi Palace. And the drama itself is wonderful as well, from the casts to the plot, especially her chemistry with the male lead ahh. Too bad there were only 40 eps not enough:((

I've always love Wu Jinyan's acting as well as the series I have seen her in. I know if she is in a something, the photography and costumes are going to be good, and for the most part, the sets.
Interesting folks would be bothered that characters don't cry all the time, because that's the thing I find pretentious most of the time.

They were so brutal on her when there so many artists being praised without accomplishments.Even now those artists considered on top now they’re not even close to her accomplishments.

I love Wu Jin Yan. I think she is beautiful and very talented woman. Very good actress. And beautiful with still shots. Her pics on whatever clothes or wigs she is wearing all looks good on her. I saw her pics on copper, pink, blonde, black, brown hair, long, short, curly, straight hair…. All looks good on her! She was a ballet dancer. Her assassin role in Kill Me Love Me was very good, especially she did all the fighting scene tricks. Different from her role in The Double. ❤❤❤

I think she is one of unlucky actor/actresses like Lui Yuning who receives hate for no reason. There are so many popular actor/actresses who have zero expressions on their faces but still are popular. Allen ren is one of them, he plays same character in every drama, no matter what the role is, but still popular. Dilraba have hardly three expressions and is super popular because she is very pretty. I can write a list of such actors. I think its just luck in the end

It's not Wu Jinyan's performance but the viewers associated her with her character in the Story of Yanxi Palace when she played a different character. The director is the anchor in making a successful drama project, if the director is not satisfied with the performance of the actors they can always reshoot the scenes. I like her in the drama with Johnny Huang. They both have a better performance. But I don't like her lead partner in My Bargain Queen. Wu Jinyan and her partner in My Bargain Queen were just performing the character but lack chemistry.

The fact that people criticized her role in Royal Feast lets me know folks are haters. She was great in that role because she showed a completely different acting skill which was subdue and sweet. I think people couldn’t let go of her Wei Yulong character in Yanxi Palace that critics and fans boxed her in that character…Just admit yall wanted to see replica’s of that character in each role she plays in .

@@conan2209 although Royal Feast is hands down my bias, after just finishing the double I can’t say say which role I found better. For each character she brought a different element that left me in awe. Maybe if I watch the Double a thousand time like I do Royal feast 😂😂😂 maybe then I can say
