Not the best ending for The Double but astonished the actor and actress their chemistry was phenomenal. They made it realistic to the point of being a married couple in real life.
The 5 minute extra was nice. They should've cut out that last battle and put in that extra 5 minutes instead. Would've been a 10 out of 10 if they did that.
This show was so intriguing and not so cringy ones It keeps you hooked to the storyy and plot and endless political plottings and how the mc tackles with her scheming a And also the male and female lead small interactions in between makes it sooo interesting to watch tgeir chemistry is too good🤌🏼

Then you switch to him-bare-chested, as if stripping away not just his clothes but all the barriers he’s built up to keep love at bay ( the same can be said for JL) The way they both cleanse their past selves with the bath and rain is simply breathtaking. At least, that's how I see it.
Honestly this show, and the chemistry between the lead actors transcend any cultural differences. I am watching it again for the second time, picking up on more details, those I missed the first time because I was distracted by the sexual tension and the brilliance of the script. I have watched other C-drama (I also watch K-drama) shows, which were entertaining but never had the depth and script like The Double. And again, the leads were amazing. ❤
Great drama! They have the best onscreen chemistry ❤! I love their interactions together. So cute and adorable. Thank you for making only their montage. Instead of rewatching the whole drama to see them, I can come back and watch this 😊

The name of the novel this was adapted from was "Marriage of the di daughter" by Qian Xian Cha Ke. The author's works were really the best novel-wise. This got me so excited for Rebirth of the Malicious Empress, can't wait!!!

At first they wanted to show its a open happy ending but they thought people might misunderstand the ending...so in the special episode they clearly showed the happy ending.

Tbh, not many total green forest male characters we can find in any dramas (Korean, Chinese, other asians, and even western ones). So I respect any writers who are able to create such a character. Before watching The Double, I always thought Rong Yu from The Inextricable Destiny was the best green flag male character. Duke Su raised the bar higher. He's charming, highly skilled in martial arts, upright, righteous, smart, and has got healthy mental state despite his tragic family background. He's just perfect 😘 Anw, still love Rong Yu as well 😉
I’m sorry but her makeup ruined this drama for me. Whoever the makeup director was did this poor girl dirty. Her whole face was pale as a ghost with an unpleasant orangish yellow eyeshadow on the edges of her eyes. No wonder people said the maid looked prettier then her. Her makeup looked soo bad 😭😭
