Ah Ragna. BBCF was one of the first fighting games i ever played and Ragna was a great starting point before maining Plat. Good times, Nine kicked my ass a lot tho.
I appreciate the comment, initially I was nervous on feedback of the video but I'm glad people have been finding it helpful. Hopefully more tutorials coming soon... You never stop learning with this game, I'm sure you'll have as much fun with Ragna as a main as I do.
Edit: At 2:35, "this frame trap will be gapless..." is wrong and instead should be this frame trap will have a 1 frame gap. Thank you warycoolio for pointing it out.
Very solid guide overall, just a few extra notes for any aspiring Ragna players: Air GH can also be used after 6D jD on block, it has 18f start up there and can be hard to see especially if delayed After GH RC, if you want air dash jC to be a more threatening overhead it’s best to just do RC land 2B. Air dash land 2B can be jumped out of or even mashed on relatively easily You can also use RC after any move that leaves you airborne on block to try and enforce a high low b (6D, jD, GH, blood scythe, air blood scythe) You can also do cross up inferno divider on your opponents wake up if you read an emergency tech anywhere not cornered, not just from blockstrings. This is why midscreen it’s preferred to end combos in just j214C rather than adding the follow up And lastly for Aon, during the mixup parts the black text over the red background was a bit hard to read and had to squint to make it out but I like the idea a lot and it’s contents was really good. Again great guide we need more of these across all characters. Thanks
True, but I still find them quite different. Whereas Sol starts off in the story already at his peak strength, Ragna grows and develops over time. I also find there play styles to be quite different with Sol being more akin to a gorilla type character with his damage output Ragna is more of a Rush down character with his life steal acting as a sort of comeback mechanic symbolizing how in the story he wins his fight by the skin of his teeth. But yeah discount Sol bad guy works.
“A Ragna guide? In 2024? Let’s see what he got”
*literally starts off with the Jesus kick*
“THIS GUY GOOD!!! He had to be playing ever since CT”

I love the simplicity of this video. Learning something new about my BBCF main everyday. Thanks 🙏
