sorry total noob here but is it possible to setup TP without launchbox at all? Just the raw emulator with sinden without anything else if you know what i mean. Thx
Thank you very much! I've had the light gun for a while now, I wanted to play this game with TeknoParrot, but I found it complicated to set up. With your help, the aliens can finally be exterminate! Greetings from Hungary!
@peterromak5568 lol get those aliens! Glad I was able to help you out. Check out my Playlist, game standalone, lots of good ones there to help add on to your build
@peterromak5568 I can't do that. Strikedowns for "direct" answers to that are rampant right now. Google search always the to go to, try searching for a set of teknoparrot games and not the single game itself. Usually you can find all these packed together somewhere. Wish I could give you a more direct awnser
@RiffRaffBJJ when you're doing the button configuration are you having the border on? Without border it will cause the buttons to read offscreen shooting (right mouse button)
Thank you very much. Excellent work, as always. One note for anyone with an abbreviated keyboard like me, when you get to the part where you have to hit the "Home" button on your keyboard - it's part of the ReShade setup - if you don't have a "Home" button, hit Fn and the back arrow
@thumperboyad1031 I'll look it up. You using amd? It's an amd issue. But I'll track down the supposed fix. As In this fix works for most but not all setup. I don't run amd so can't really test it on any of my units
@thumperboyad1031 check this page out and scroll towards the bottom to game notes and read the one over aliens extermination. Mention what to try if it's going too fast. www.sindenwiki.org/wiki/TeknoParrot
cant fix this either tried lowering the res, in game and in windows added technoparrot into the nvidia settings set it to 60hz locked frames 60hz still no joy
have you had any issues launching namco 357 games from launchbox with sinden? i get black screens on deadstorm pirates and sailor zombie/ both games launch fine when using gun4ir or retro shooter guns.
Interesting, first time hearing about Reshade, I mostly use the sinden with a batocera linux in a usb drive and it works fine. For teknoparrot i am trying on Windows because my first experiences with the gun, windows and emulators were not good 😂
Batocera does a great job out the box for lightgun usage. But has some restrictions. Not being able to run tekno is the biggest one. Reshade is a very great tool aside from border usage.
Hello there. Thank you for these videos. Helps me a lot. I have one issue when I try to map my guns to a teknoparrot game. After entering a control, the mouse moves to the left corner of the screen and can move only ib a small space. Clicking the Win key will show a pup-up and if I clic the mouse it goes away and I have control again except that when I go back to the Teknopparot window and clic on save, the control I entered disappears. I real headache ... Any ideas ?
That's weird, do you have your sinden border up? Also make sure if you have 2 guns, the other gun isn't pointing at the screen or directly at a light source like a window.
I reinstalled everything by following carefully your video and it does same thing. Could be the resolution of my TV 3840 x 2160. Anyway, it takes time and a lot of windows manipulation but I have finally make it to work. By the way, there is no exe in Terminator salvation, how do you set reshade ?

@dandevil5557 yes, just don't do the launchbox steps.

@@tkssitch I read about it, from now on the Alien Armageddon can also be played with TeknoParrot. Can you help me from where can download the game?

Having issues with button config on all games on TP. The pump action, trigger and left button all show as RightButton.

use the gun itself to aim and click at the trigger config, worked for me

That's cool, thanks for the tip. I'm sure someone will find that helpful ❤️
More Video gold, real easy to follow, super stuff buddy, gonna watch part 2 now😀
Is there a way to slow down the frame rate? The game runs at warp speed for me and it really needs to slow down by about 50% or even 75%

@@tkssitch I got it figured out, now it runs just like the arcade, on a beater laptop no less.

@thumperboyad1031 lol that's awesome. See how much further you can push that laptop. Glad you got it figured out

I haven't tried running, ps3 myself, so can't help. I'd hit Fidel Zapata up in the group. He would know more about that emulator than me.

Yep, all of those. I found it is a problem sometimes encountered. I will reinstall everything and see. Thanks.
Does the pop up say anything?

@@benoitdesruisseaux242 that could be it. When it comes to tekno. Those games love being in 1920x1080 resolution. Unless stated otherwise.
