As someone that's been 3D printing for a while, the effort you're going to to simplify the printing is super appreciated. There's nothing worse than needing to print things over 20 build plates then having parts not fit together smoothly. I'm keen not just from a light-gun perspective, but just keen on seeing the effort that's gone into making the models in that way!
You can just print them yourself very affordably. I will have manuals and videos for every one showing you how to do it yourself. But that being said if you just want to buy them I won't dissuade you :D
If I do borrow a printer I'd gladly pay an extra $10 convenience fee for $1 worth of screws in a kit with the controller. Honestly if they're under $300 with good recoil I'll probably just buy one of each. There's already not enough time for projects and games.
Awesome. When will completed / ready to buy retro-ray guns be available? Those are going to be perfect for our home arcade. And do you have any video of any of your guns in action playing some of the more popular shooters? Thank you.
What is the limiting factor on screen size for these? I see 100” mentioned. Is that a testing limit or hardware limit? I’d like to use these with a 133” screen.
Have you explained the difference between the Blamcon basic and advanced options yet? I'm guessing recoil and maybe graphic options. To choose the graphic designs that make it to production are you planning to run polls for the most popular to get a run or will it just be custom printed one at a time? Between being a cheapskate and wanting to do my own customization I'll probably choose the basic option. Most importantly are you ready to take our money yet?
Some hard feedback for you fellas, Im not all your clients but I am going to be one of your clients, the one and only thing Im looking for in an update video is when is it available to purchase and whats the price. Im not really intetested in paint jobs, grub screws, parts lists, 3d renders, wiring diagrams, all the inside work. Im sure thays fun for you but I am super keen and super impatient. Id say if you focus on one simple unit that works. Ship it. Then after that focus on creative paint jobs, different shaped guns, impressive web features, new content delivery methods etc etc. (Please dont black list me for my raw feedback comment! Haha)
I have 2x sinden lightguns added to cart. Im about to purchase because I could be forever waiting for you fellas who seem to prioritise lots of unnecessary things that keep drawing out and delaying the time before your product is ready. Unless your about to start shipping in the next 3 months let me know here and I wont buy Sinden. Also if I have to solder or diy build im out.
Well, I'm not going to blacklist you for honest feedback! But I do stand by our decisions here. We are not doing a one off project but building an ecosystem that the community can use for a long time. We have dozens of light guns to release and to make this work we need to establish a system right off the bat. If we do not, it will fall apart. I post daily on Discord if you want to follow the process more closely. I have started multiple companies and have years of experience as a business consultant. I work on this 7 days a week and I'm not going to release something until its fully baked. I have taken no money from anyone and have funded this thing entirely out of pocket, the reason for that is to not be pressured into making rash decisions or obligations. I've been very transparent, worked as hard as humanly possible, and it's entirely up to you if you want to wait for us to finish or go somewhere else, but I do thank you for expressing your concerns and I'm happy to chat with you on Discord or here if you have any questions. But the price comes after I know what it costs me in materials, labor, and general overhead, which is calculated at the end before release.
@@Props3D Hey Chris, following the process more closely is not something I care for in my kettle, my microphone, my dlsr. Nor do I wish for 12 different colour options shapes and designs. Or an ecosystem for kettles. I think you should do both. Achieve a keep is simple method. And then work on your wall of guns. Its mainly frustrating because there isnt an easy option out there to throw my miney at. And Ive invested hope thst you'll provide that. All I care about is the experience of a working product available now. I can appreciate my attitude probably cones across as unappreciative, undeserving and frustrating. Sorry if so. But can you please answer these questions. 1. Will it work out the box no diy. 2. Will it be shipping in the next 3 months. 3. Is the price under US$500 ballpark. Straight to the point is all I care for. Thankyou.
@@MrMichaelrichards 1. Will it work out the box no diy. Yes, complete light gun ready to go. 2. Will it be shipping in the next 3 months. Yes, I have dozens of them on a rack right here and we're building more daily, we're bringing on 2 more people in Oct so we can continue supplies. We want to launch with a backlog of inventory to buffer production. 3. Is the price under US$500 ballpark. Price is tbd, we will have lots of options for everyone but that's coming at the end. In the end, I am empowering the maker community as much as making a product. I've always done that, I will continue to do so. Blamcon will make this an endeavor but I won't compromise on what I've set out here. But I am unable to bend the immutable laws of time and space and I'm spending my every waking minute on this and have no more to give than what I'm doing now. Wait or don't, it's completely your decision and no worries either way. And I do appreciate your honesty and candor, just say what you want how you want.
@Props3D thanks for the replies, much appreciated, ill hang in there for your product. Can appreciate the hard work. And respect for the handling of your replies. Thanks!
I didn't send it to TH-camrs, I sent it to people in the industry. It's now working interactively with Unity and Unreal, working on Batocera Linux, Mamehooker, and other emulators/front ends. I am not trying to hype this as it needs to grow sustainably. I need skilled testers and developers far more than shills so everyone has a good experience when they get it, and this can grow.

How would shipping to mainland EU be handled ? Will there be a local supplier ? (this would help a lot with customs etc)
Amazing video. How to buy a kit when available and 3d print my parts. I do Resin and PLA
Nice T Shirts simply mind blowing.
Fish eye distortion , interesting
Interested myself, I don't have space for a full distance setup.
I really want to buy this wow the level of detail. Anyone know how much a completed vyper will be?
If this is around the price of guns4ir I’m sold
Excited
What 3D print bed size would be recommended?

Sorry, we had been at it all day and had crossed eyes. Promise to get it right next time

🤑🤑🤑 Please take my money! 😁 looking forward to building a vyper.
I'd love the Auto9 but I get you can't really sell a copyrighted design. I know nothing about 3D printing though.
Shipping to UK?
We have a local supplier in the UK
First !!!!!!!!!!
Whoever the YT or streamers you gave Blamcons too are slacking, I only ran across one (not great) video on YT that wasn't yours.

Terrible echo
Yes, I couldn't rerecord though :(
