Your reviews are so informative! I have an extensive library of art books, gathered over almost 4 decades of painting, most books are watercolor. I had changed my preferred media to watercolor 36 years ago. Always a pleasure to see your videos.

I agree, it is a great book and worth every penny! I bought it determined to learn all I could about color, going through the exercises one by one. I got a bit burnt out with that, but you review has reignited my passion for this book!

I am going to have too many books, if there is such a thing! I wish I had seen videos from you before I had bought some of them. You let me see if a book is really what I am interested in, some books I have bought the only thing I really liked was the cover. So in spite of my over crowded shelves I really thank you.
Sometimes I wonder...if you had to start over from scratch but remembered all your experiences with books & paint, which 5 or so books would you want to replace & what watercolors would you buy first?

I have one of Nita Leland's books. I think I heard you mention it in this video, Confident Color. I don't have that book.
There is a book by Michael Wilcox called Blue and Yellow Don't Make Green: How to Mix the Color You Really Want - Every Time. Have you come across that book? Amazon has it available through third party sellers. I think I checked it out from our local library. I don't have a copy; but, I know I have read it.

Between this and the one by Stephen Quiller, which one would you recommend to a beginner to color?
This is better for beginner. Stephen Quiller's book is for intermediate and advance
