How to Board a Crowded Bus

Typical crowding situation on 811 during weekday peak hours and weekends. An old man unwilling to wait another 20 minutes for another equally packed bus decided to cooperate with the bus captain and take advantage of wasted space near the rear.
Move to the back, commuters! It'll save trouble and time. :)

That's why we should also implement all-door boarding (like in Bangkok, Thailand, we can board buses from any doors).
*NOTE: I am based in Singapore, but I know this little fact since I have been on Bangkok public buses before on my trips to Thailand (pre-COVID times).

The bus companies and LTA are still not willing to officiate such move after discussing with them. They are afraid other passengers might skip payment and rush up from the Exit. All they could think of is $$$ and not a thought for passengers who rush for time to reach their work place on time.

Actually some drivers do enable rear boarding from time to time, just that it's not being done often.

Yes. I did witness 2 such drivers, They are interested to outwit the selfish lot of passengers. Many passengers who stand and unable to get a seat are taking revenge to block the available space so that the bus pick lesser passengers and skip bus stops.

I witnesss the driver putting all the rear doors for entrance according to the card reader but the bus was not even crowded ;)
