I’m sure others already commented this, but I think the “shell wood” from the barb traps comes from the region seen at 4:20 judging by the textures for the barb traps. This probably means different areas will also get you new weapons or abilities that fit with the biome (that was kinda a given tho tbh)

Just literally their sequential order of encounter. Team Cherry does seem to be doubling down on setpieces in Silksong, so it seems reasonable to assume bosses will be given more context, leadup and general pomp and circumstance, including their own districts and minibosses.
I sat there for 3 hours, had to deal with a long rambling from a Ragnarök guy, had to bare with Genshin impact AND among us, with little to no food or drink the entire time, WAITING for anything hollow knight related. I had auditory illusions of “Ari Gibson” and “hollow knight”, with my heart jumping each time. My brain was locked towards the game. For 3 hours. I tried to keep hope up as it went on. Does this mean that the Far Fields is Silksong's version of the Abyss? Is this how Team Cherry will introduce void as a substance in Silksong? Do note that this is just speculation. There isn't actually that much concrete evidence that points to this.
