Another way imo is to use thermal... you can spot him easily... he is usually the target with no icon on top of his head... n his movement is pretty spot on anyway... but if he run around with stealth though a silhoutte, it is still clear... whenever his target appear it is easy to track him from the bold red target he use to shoot... just keep sprinting perpendicular to his target line n he will constantly miss... i fight him in solo in open area... normal mode though....

So... my dads watching me do this mission and when he saw the 1st clue, he sat down TOTALLY glued to the T.V. Then when he saw the skinned bodies and lime green blood he got SO EXCITED because of the nostalgia. Then came THAT line, which he also quoted, IF IT BLEEDS....
This is what sets this game apart from the rest ! They should keep adding crazy shit like this, shit I’d even fight a dinosaur like a Jurassic park extension lol and you have to drive and shoot the T. rex chasing you ! That would be sick, so woyld zombies ! And a nuke scene lol
abenson 11 yeah check your map the Predator location is close to two SB bases and some river camps so it is best to keep your fight within 100 meters of the ammo box. Another option is to silently disable the generator in the large camp and keep an eye on your A.I. when you order them to fire at will because they go looking for trouble. In my case Predator took them out he actually left the fight circle and I had to stray out of bounds to get some head shots but you can't stay long due to the timer.
I'm surprised you didn't mention thermals. I had them on the whole time and they helped a lot. Made seeing him easier and spotting before the laser appeared easier.
I was so happy and scared when I ran into this mission. I was like "this is very predator-ish", then like "no... can't be", to "fuck, no way. we are going to die" It was a neat touch, and I'm a big predator fan.
Ziomaletto I know just moving through the jungle I actually felt scared and that was before I got to the actual fight I kept my eyes on the canopy and every time I thought I saw movement I opened fire with my grenade launcher
Carbon Meister Hey, I’ve followed your tips... but I still can’t seem to kill him. I don’t really have anyone I can squad with, but I do call the rebels in. I used your coordinates, but that only got me so much farther. I used an LMG and Sniper, but I still couldn’t out damage it. I even made sure to aim for the head, and I still kept failing... constantly. Any other tips? (Keep in mind that I’m a lower level, but I have my Squad and physical endurance maxed)
Bless you, absolutely bless you. I spent hours last night and couldn't do it no matter what. Bring in Rebel Ops, using the rock and jumping up and down, tree hugging, excessive running, nothing could do it. This worked and I managed to solo it. Finally. Thank you.
Really appreciate the video! I managed to get my predator kill last night with all AI. I highly suggest sticking around the spot in the video. Just before going in, call in rebels for hire and more rebels for distraction. I don't know if weapons matter, but I did go with a LMG. Be patient, never revive your team unless they are all gone. I think getting the extra early damage in when he pops in out of hiding is very helpful. Good luck everyone!
Another easy way is to spawn 4 armored suv drive them to the outside of the circle zone and park them in a tight Square blow them up and start the mission take cover behide the cars the predator should not be able to hit you when in cover
I tried your method. Died almost 20 times. there has got to be an easier way to do it. Yeah i know its meant to be challenging but im just sick of being so close and then it kills me. like i get to the point where it pops in a consistent manor and thats when i die.

It is literally the most difficult mission in the entire game hands down... So yes you beat it congratulations but it is not easy...
I sadly only have 1 person to play with. We're both pretty good at the game and always get him to phase 2 and he's just too aggressive for us two to take him out

Generic Girl It disappears after attacking so you have time to get them back up, if all three are down it really just means you have less time to get them up and you can’t really do damage to it cause you need to hide behind the rock the whole time.

This mission is so gay that I want to throw my controller out of the window. I tried this mission so many times and I just can’t do it. Edit: 8 months later i quit the game.
The mission start off SO GOOD!! But the Predator is overpowered! Which would have been fine if you could at least use your drone ( pr at the very least, show the predator on the mini map ), or call in the rebels DURING the fight, and not "before" for the sake of restriction. Not sure who in UBIsoft thought that making this mission fight THIS unfair would be fun and enjoyable. Fucking idiots.
Very important tip: instead of using the tree as cover, use the rock as cover near the ammunition,while predator is not targeting you, stand above the rock and when the laser comes, go down and quickly crouch. Then wait for timing to hit the predator after that go up to the rock again and do the same process until predator is beaten. Another tip: don't be greedy when shooting the predator, be patient and focus on getting cover. Use your ears , listen where his invisibility goes off that's the moment the predator about to blast you.
WOW. This was tough. Thankfully, I ran into your video. THANK YOU. To be sure, the main thing I needed was the location with the two trees and the two rocks. I stayed lodged somewhere in the middle, hugging a tree, facing three of the four flanks as best as I could. The three flanks will at least prepare you for an appearance and the laser will prompt you if the Predator comes up on the fourth flank (the side not being faced). To be sure, the Predator somehow finds a way to find that fourth flank more often than not, so I try to make it the smallest opening. Once I found this strategy, which took a lot of trial and error (using your location), I killed the Predator without needing to be revived once. I hope this helps anyone needing extra direction. Last, I rolled with the HTI sniper rifle for the entire battle.
You can do this buy the numbers. 19 successful engagements kill him. Phase two starts at the 10th engagement. After the 14 to 15th engagement dont bother getting anyone up. You just risk getting shot to quick and the challenge will be over in the next 2 minutes. Hope that helps some people out there. If your on XB1 and still having trouble drop your tag bellow and I will help you.
Thanks tried a pistol run after many failed attempts with primary weapons and it did seem easier although it took me some tries to get him, the pistol made me nimble or so it felt so that I dodged predators heat seeking shots.

With the bug you just have to tell your men to stay and you go back the the predator and it will blow up and Your men will pick you up. And you will win the fight.
@@btonyx8911 He means to make your team Hold outside of the Predator position and if you ever get downed they will come to revive you. This way you don't risk them being killed and actually having to solo.

They definitely updated the predator in ghost recon wildlands on ps4: The predator is not as active as yours. He will go through *3* stages: 1. Running around camouflaged and sometimes becoming visible to scream at you 2. *Briefly* becoming visible to shoot you with the plasma caster 3. All hell breaks lose and becoming VERY active. To kill you with the plasma caster. So it's a whole lot different and takes a very long period of time to take down. Though I have killed him on PC and it was how the video says he is. And the spot that you use for fighting him is amazing! Cover is everywhere. Keep up the great work!

Finally beating him gave me such a feeling of satisfaction. It was one of those achievements in a game where it was such a worthwhile challenge that it invokes an actual emotional response of pure joy. Very similar to how old NES games would invoke the same feeling when you beat the Joker in Batman or Dracula in Castlevania. That feeling is very rare these days and I can only think of a handful of times I've experienced it in the last couple gens of gaming.
If you want an easier way to take down the predator, you don’t need to go far, there are two trees and a rock in front of them by the ammo box, while in this area, there are 4 or more different ways to counter any of the predator’s attacks, the two trees protect you from left and right attacks, the rock protects you from front attacks and the hill behind this area protects from attacks behind you I’ve killed the predator every time I’ve gone against him and he will do triple shots without warning, this is a perfect spot to avoid those
The prutruding rock near the ammo cache is my shield. I just sit on top of it and rely on my reflex to spot him when he starts firing. You're gonna have a time to evade and just use the rock as the shield. Just listen too the noise he makes, it'll make it even easier for him to get spotted. I went solo ( what I meant is with AI) and died I few times till I formulated my strat on defeating him. By hey, just sharing my experience with him. Love the helm especially when you turn on your thermal vision, it sounds like the predator.

great video, really helped me, but if anyone is still stuck, i recommend this location, plus, call in 3 armoured SUVs to barricade around you. this really helped me kill the predator first time
Beat it by myself and took me about an hour. What worked for me was getting on top of the big rock next to gun chest. Just playing on and off it whenever he locked on me and took my shots when he pointed at one of the squad mates. The rock was perfect cause whenever he’ll decide to shoot me I will just jump down and duck etc.
I personally use the spot with three massive trees growing close together. Another tip: If he's done a dam-dam on your AI, let him take pot shots at you as you jump out from behind the trees, then go back under cover. Don't shoot him. You can keep this up indefinitely while your team revives itself.

Easiest way just before you enter the yellow circle call Guns For Hire and put a Distraction in the yellow circle. once all rebels turn on, move near the ammo box, there's a big rock stand on it and jump off to avoid red laser
The predator was thee single most difficult opponent! I tried probably 10-15 times solo! Eventually I had to call in some buds to do it! Very very difficult. His invisible camp ran past but he would appear opposite instantly! Like there were 2-4 of them plus shot through some rocks or pulled that “wanted” perk and curved his plasma bolt around damn trees!
I’m not gonna lie. At first, when I tried this new spot in solo, I died around 5 times and about called it quits. I tried one more time and finally got him. I also have the ghost squad and upgraded to where I can be revived twice and that definitely helped. Some of it is luck too. He put his sights on the ghost crew more than me so I was able to get more shots off on him. Good luck y’all. I must’ve failed 50+ times.
the plasma shot curves and tracks it's target... only way to duck it is to time it extremely right... fucker curved his shot round a tree as I tried to run for cover.
Been adding armoured suv's to provide additional cover on the flanks in that one spot. Trouble is, he starts raining down disks. Every so often, you have to poke your head out just to let him know you're still alive. Sniper is great. Beat the predator, but didn't run away far enough in time to evade the explosion, so it reset. Will try again tomorrow.
This definitely helped alot. Thanks man. Wana just point out that u dont actually need to go towards the predator at the end, when he's down. Just hold your ground at your coordinates and once the game tells you to escape the area just make a run for it. I managed to complete it after about 20 over tries and that was the one time I used thermal vision...haha.
At first I did it like 20 times couldn't do it, after your video got lmg and sniper and rebels and the spot in was able to do it on my 4th try thanks man. Very helpful

I would say the easiest way is to take cover behind a small tree. It takes less time to run around when the Predator locks on. It's a very simple technique and works great. You just have to pay close attention to his laser sight🤙🏿
I've been downed by the splash damage from behind a small tree before, don't stick too close to it, just put it between you and back off from the tree a bit.

Cleared this in solo mode after 5 attempts. 0 heals used. 1) Location: stood between main rock and tree nearest to ammo box. Found this useful at phase 2 when predator starts spamming lasers. The rock and tree provided cover from 2 directions. I.e less to worry about. During ammo runs, the ammo box can absorb hits if you’re caught while refilling ammo. 2) rebels as cannon fodder. 3) I used the assault rifle throughout the fight. Choice of gun - whatever you are comfortable with), LMG is simply too inaccurate for me. Ramp up gun handling on your weapon, as you’ll want to fire off as soon as predator is spotted. 4) Used headphones. You can hear the general direction where predator is going to Attack from.
This mission I am finding to be a pain in the ass. He turned from behind me shoots me once with a laser boom I am dead in one hit. No matter how many times I hit him with my bullets or grenade launcher he never seems to die.
Lol that's crazy. I told my friends that same spot is best to camp. Only problem is its too far from the ammo box. What we did was call in rebels as meat shields, drive an armored car in. Once he one shot the car, we used it as cover.
My friend and I figured out a way to consistently get the predator to appear and shoot at a player allowing for easy damage to him and all you have to do is resupply from the ammo crate which causes him to immediately prioritize attacking instead of running around it is a risky method but it's also easy to get him into second phase I also typically use the large rock right next to the crate for cover since it isn't obstructed at all
My friends and i just stood by the ammo box and constantly moved. We checked our corners and stuff and just moved and took shots at him (with rebel cannon faughter). He never really got a chance to lock on when we did it too. There were a couple times but we either shot before he did or grabbed cover and when we went down it was easy to get picked up.
You don't need to approach the Predator that close when stops attacking and rips off his helmet. Just inch forward enough until he drops to his knees which is surprisingly still pretty far away. You can start running as soon as his knees hit the ground as he starts his self destruct programming.

I used the G2 at long range and the Vector when he is close because they fire so fast you can hit him a lot of times before he disappears!!

Use the long barrel hit and dolphin dive a lot by that I mean prone when you near a hump in the ground

I just stood on the centre rock and when I saw it aiming dropped behind the rock and let AI deal with healing AI

Thanks tried a pistol run after many failed attempts with primary weapons and it did seem easier although it took me some tries to get him, the pistol made me nimble or so it felt so that I dodged predators heat seeking shots.

With the bug you just have to tell your men to stay and you go back the the predator and it will blow up and Your men will pick you up. And you will win the fight.

@@btonyx8911 He means to make your team Hold outside of the Predator position and if you ever get downed they will come to revive you.
This way you don't risk them being killed and actually having to solo.

This part needs a fucking checkpoint between the phases
My tips:Use thermal on first phase, only use auto weapons with high rates of fire,and run like hell whenever you see the laser
Also hide behind some T H I C C ass cover
They definitely updated the predator in ghost recon wildlands on ps4: The predator is not as active as yours. He will go through *3* stages:
1. Running around camouflaged and sometimes becoming visible to scream at you
2. *Briefly* becoming visible to shoot you with the plasma caster
3. All hell breaks lose and becoming VERY active. To kill you with the plasma caster.
So it's a whole lot different and takes a very long period of time to take down. Though I have killed him on PC and it was how the video says he is. And the spot that you use for fighting him is amazing! Cover is everywhere. Keep up the great work!

Finally beating him gave me such a feeling of satisfaction. It was one of those achievements in a game where it was such a worthwhile challenge that it invokes an actual emotional response of pure joy. Very similar to how old NES games would invoke the same feeling when you beat the Joker in Batman or Dracula in Castlevania. That feeling is very rare these days and I can only think of a handful of times I've experienced it in the last couple gens of gaming.
If you want an easier way to take down the predator, you don’t need to go far, there are two trees and a rock in front of them by the ammo box, while in this area, there are 4 or more different ways to counter any of the predator’s attacks, the two trees protect you from left and right attacks, the rock protects you from front attacks and the hill behind this area protects from attacks behind you I’ve killed the predator every time I’ve gone against him and he will do triple shots without warning, this is a perfect spot to avoid those

The prutruding rock near the ammo cache is my shield. I just sit on top of it and rely on my reflex to spot him when he starts firing. You're gonna have a time to evade and just use the rock as the shield. Just listen too the noise he makes, it'll make it even easier for him to get spotted. I went solo ( what I meant is with AI) and died I few times till I formulated my strat on defeating him. By hey, just sharing my experience with him. Love the helm especially when you turn on your thermal vision, it sounds like the predator.
I just met him and he one shot me. I came back with a truck, he one shot that too.

Beat it by myself and took me about an hour. What worked for me was getting on top of the big rock next to gun chest. Just playing on and off it whenever he locked on me and took my shots when he pointed at one of the squad mates. The rock was perfect cause whenever he’ll decide to shoot me I will just jump down and duck etc.

I personally use the spot with three massive trees growing close together.
Another tip: If he's done a dam-dam on your AI, let him take pot shots at you as you jump out from behind the trees, then go back under cover. Don't shoot him. You can keep this up indefinitely while your team revives itself.

Easiest way just before you enter the yellow circle call Guns For Hire and put a Distraction in the yellow circle. once all rebels turn on, move near the ammo box, there's a big rock stand on it and jump off to avoid red laser

The predator was thee single most difficult opponent! I tried probably 10-15 times solo! Eventually I had to call in some buds to do it! Very very difficult. His invisible camp ran past but he would appear opposite instantly! Like there were 2-4 of them plus shot through some rocks or pulled that “wanted” perk and curved his plasma bolt around damn trees!

I’m not gonna lie. At first, when I tried this new spot in solo, I died around 5 times and about called it quits. I tried one more time and finally got him. I also have the ghost squad and upgraded to where I can be revived twice and that definitely helped. Some of it is luck too. He put his sights on the ghost crew more than me so I was able to get more shots off on him. Good luck y’all. I must’ve failed 50+ times.

the plasma shot curves and tracks it's target... only way to duck it is to time it extremely right... fucker curved his shot round a tree as I tried to run for cover.
This mission is way too hard and I'm losing my mind even though I keep using this tactic. He just outsmarts me every time.

Been adding armoured suv's to provide additional cover on the flanks in that one spot. Trouble is, he starts raining down disks. Every so often, you have to poke your head out just to let him know you're still alive. Sniper is great. Beat the predator, but didn't run away far enough in time to evade the explosion, so it reset. Will try again tomorrow.

Wana just point out that u dont actually need to go towards the predator at the end, when he's down. Just hold your ground at your coordinates and once the game tells you to escape the area just make a run for it.
I managed to complete it after about 20 over tries and that was the one time I used thermal vision...haha.

Carbon why are you still uploading predator vids, try to get access to information from Ubisoft, so u can upload vids with information about the upcoming classes, gamemodes in PvP that's what most of us care about, and Ubisoft is being to mysterious about PvP

I would say the easiest way is to take cover behind a small tree. It takes less time to run around when the Predator locks on. It's a very simple technique and works great. You just have to pay close attention to his laser sight🤙🏿
I've been downed by the splash damage from behind a small tree before, don't stick too close to it, just put it between you and back off from the tree a bit.

After so many attempts I finally got him from the spot. Thanks very much for your vid.
Cleared this in solo mode after 5 attempts. 0 heals used.
1) Location: stood between main rock and tree nearest to ammo box. Found this useful at phase 2 when predator starts spamming lasers. The rock and tree provided cover from 2 directions. I.e less to worry about. During ammo runs, the ammo box can absorb hits if you’re caught while refilling ammo.
2) rebels as cannon fodder.
3) I used the assault rifle throughout the fight. Choice of gun - whatever you are comfortable with), LMG is simply too inaccurate for me. Ramp up gun handling on your weapon, as you’ll want to fire off as soon as predator is spotted.
4) Used headphones. You can hear the general direction where predator is going to Attack from.
The 1892 Soviet rifle will be your best friend on this mission

This mission I am finding to be a pain in the ass. He turned from behind me shoots me once with a laser boom I am dead in one hit. No matter how many times I hit him with my bullets or grenade launcher he never seems to die.
Star Gazer if you stand on the rocks or near the trees you can dodge between them and then he won’t hit youAnd then you go up to him and shoot him
Lol that's crazy. I told my friends that same spot is best to camp. Only problem is its too far from the ammo box. What we did was call in rebels as meat shields, drive an armored car in.
Once he one shot the car, we used it as cover.
My friend and I figured out a way to consistently get the predator to appear and shoot at a player allowing for easy damage to him and all you have to do is resupply from the ammo crate which causes him to immediately prioritize attacking instead of running around it is a risky method but it's also easy to get him into second phase I also typically use the large rock right next to the crate for cover since it isn't obstructed at all
My friends and i just stood by the ammo box and constantly moved. We checked our corners and stuff and just moved and took shots at him (with rebel cannon faughter). He never really got a chance to lock on when we did it too. There were a couple times but we either shot before he did or grabbed cover and when we went down it was easy to get picked up.
You don't need to approach the Predator that close when stops attacking and rips off his helmet. Just inch forward enough until he drops to his knees which is surprisingly still pretty far away. You can start running as soon as his knees hit the ground as he starts his self destruct programming.
