Thanks again Adelle! I personally don’t have one however, other Jimny owners I know have said it sounds fantastic and also gives a little bit of an increase in performance to help it feel “sporty” again. If you’ve got Facebook there is some great communities you should join - JB74 Owners Australia - New Suzuki Jimny JB74 Australia Chances are one of those people will have any modification you’re looking into and they’re very friendly too 👌🏼
Yeah mate as you are putting this controller between the factory female and male plugs on the pedal, it needs to have two plugs on it so you can make that connection. Wiring it up is just as easy as connecting the factory plug though, nothing complex at all.
Great video! Looks super easy to install. Would it be as easy to uninstall it by unplugging the throttle controller and plugging back the factory wiring harness? Cheers!
Thank you! And yes it is, I actually removed it to remind myself what the vehicle was like before fitting it. You’ve just got to wait 1 min after swapping the plugs before you start, or else a check engine light will come up. As long as you wait 1 min it’s super easy :)
Yep it certainly does mate! That was the biggest issue I had prior to fitting this - the drive is so much easier now I don’t need to push my foot all the way down to the ground 😂. Thanks for the support!
Hi, I like your videos a lot and I am a subscriber because it helps me and others, if you don't mind can you give feedback regarding safety issues, My question is what if the throttle controller's device suddenly fails? or was the little wire accidentally cut? Do we still have the control of gas pedal, especially on the highway? or it will be back to normal mode? Thank you for hoping you can enlighten us. thank you again!
@@petermcaloon1836 no worries, I’d just check as it doesn’t work on traditional vehicles with an actual throttle cable to the engine. Only vehicles with an electronic throttle so I’d double check that first before you purchase
I couldn’t say with any confidence, I’ve put it on sport mode and left it on that 😂 even sport mode it’s only gone up very very slightly so I’d imagine eco is much better
Not true at all. It’s not changing anything to do with the engine. This is not a performance upgrade, it just changes how it feels and how responsive the accelerator is
@@jimmys_jimny Thanks. Do you experienced The Cruice Control doesn't work after Torq throttle control on mean when you press gas pedal it's goes up in the Gas pedal. Without Torq Throttle pedal the Jimny Cruice control work and if you push Gas pedal it's doesn't go up in cruise control?
@pematamang9268 no it still works fine! The throttle controller doesn’t change anything else other than the voltage being sent from the pedal, basically tricking the ECU into thinking that it is being pushed harder than it is
Awesome Jimmy review
Thanks for your support!!
Great vid mate as always, so thorough and well explained.
Too kind mate 🙏🏼 thank you
Great 👍 video! Quick question on another product…What is your opinion on installing the Forge Motorsport Air Intake on a Jimny?

hi so is there 2 wiring looms to connect ?

Will this increase stress on any component of the Jimny?
So getting one of these brother! 🤟🏼
You’ll love it mate! As you add more mods it’s even more useful!

@@jimmys_jimny - Thanks for the tip! I might to give them a go! Looking forward to your upcoming videos! Keep up the great work!
Certainly worth it! Hands down the most effective modification I’ve fitted so far. Thanks for the support!
Does it help with the auto dropping back a gear on almost any incline on the highway buy any chance?

@@jimmys_jimny awesome thanks mate. Just ordered one. Can’t wait!!
Fantastic mate you’ll love it! I’m on the godhead to the sunny coast at the moment in the highest sport setting 😎 loving it
Awesome!! We’re heading down to Fraser next month, can’t wait to get over there.
Awesome mate! Feel free to send me a message on Instagram if you have any questions about that Torqit unit too :)
Hi Will this affect the manufacturer,s warranty on my new car?

Hello mate, the disk of failure is not high, this is a high quality product. Uses the factory plugs and cables I would not be concerned at all
@@jimmys_jimny thank you
Fitting this device affect the warranty of a new vechical
No mate it doesn’t as far as Suzuki has advised me.
@@jimmys_jimny thanks for the reply as I have a Suzuki on order Jimny thanks

@@jimmys_jimny Thanks for the reply my new car is a 2022 Suzuki Jimny thanks.
Fantastic! Congratulations 🎉
I heard it damage engine means doesn’t last longer what engine suppose to. Is it true?
Not at all, this is just the same as using the accelerator. No damage to the engine
Does the discount work for the exhaust too 🥵
You bet… but only one way to find out for sure 👀
Also, discount ends Oct 10th so get in before that if you are going to 😉
I can’t unplug the gas pedal! How do you do it with one hand??!
There is a small clip on the right hand side of it. Make sure you’re pressing this in all the way, and it will slide out very easily 😂
great tires, bro. May know what they are and the specs, please. TIA
Thank you! At this point they were BFG 215’s in all terrain. Now I’ve got 235 Maxxis ATs and much prefer them. The BFGs were horrible in the wet

How much does the eco mode help with fuel economy?

I believe it’s damage on engine. Engine could bad impact in future.
