- Hi everyone welcome to Travelzilla. Please join me on a LISBON AIRPORT TOUR and REVIEW. Today I will share with you a lot of information regarding Lisbon's AEROPORTO HUMBERTO DELGADO ✈ (LIS). This video was made by using a combination of images from various flights I took in and out of Lisbon Portugal in recent years. We will start our airport tour at ARRIVALS, where I am going to show you various flights landing at Lisbon Airport, what arriving in Lisbon looks like, will tell you a little bit about the history of this airport, stats, information and info such ass, airport capacity, number of jetways, remote parking positions, number of runways, systems used such as the ILS KAT 3 so on and so forth. The we will go to the baggage claim area and will talk about how to pick up non-standard pieces of luggage.
In the meantime I will use examples of flights I took to give you all of that info inclusing a TAP AIR PORTUGAL fligt from Seville (SQV) to LISBON (LIS) via an ATR 72-600, a flight from VIRACOPOS (VCP) to LISBON (LIS) via economy and economy extra to give as examples of arriving flights.

Then I will move onto DEPARTURES where I will show you 2 different scenarios. How to departure from Terminal 1, where most flights depart from and how to depart from Terminal 2, which is mostly used by budget airlines or low cost airlines such as Ryanair, Transavia, Easy Jet, Vueling, Wizz Air and Eurowings. I also show you how to go from Lisbon Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 y bus, how to check your bags at TAP AIRPORTUGAL, how to fly business class from LISBON (LIS) to VIRACOPOS (VCP) by Azul Airlines, so on and so forth. I Also talk about how LISBON AIRPORT (LIS) is managed by French giant VINCI AIRPORTS which wil run the show until 2062! Here in Portugal it is called ANA by Vinci Airports.

i have a connection flight in this airport of 1hour on a flight barcelona-newyork, arrival a Terminal 1 and deparrture on terminal 1, do you think it will be enought ? same compagny TAP airlines
hello there, how are you. Sorry it took such a long time to reply. I believe one hour is enough sing you won´t be changing terminals anytime soon.if you hold an European passport you can use one of the automated passport gates. If not you'll have to go through immigration in portugal which depending of the time of the day, can be quite busy! If you get there and realize it will take longer, ask for assistance. There will be a person organizing the lines. Please talk to them, or ask somebody from your airline to rush you through immigration. Im gonna have an 18 hour layover Im semi handicapped I can ony walk short distances, is there any wheelchair rental or disabled assistance? From EU to EU to US do I need to go through immigration and can I go to the city as an EU citizen?

I'm coming to Lisbon for Arsenal's away game in a couple weeks. I've left it it tight for my flight home, the game finishes around 19:30, flight is 21:55 from terminal 2. Is it possible to come straight from the ground to airport quickly or will there be too much traffic? It was a cheap flight so if you think I should book a back up flight for the following day I can
Hi Kris how are you ? Thanks for writing to me and thanks for watching the video. I think that you should change your flight and spend the night in Lisbon. I say that because there are certain variants you must take into consideration. If your flight were at 22:55 I'd say ok don´t worry for you'll have time, but 2h only....a bit iffy. The stadium will be full of people, maybe it will be a bit of a hassle to get a taxi or uber. Of course you could go by metro too. The game will be at the Alvalade Stadium which has a metro station close to it. 2 h is a very short time. Even if you don´t check any luggage....you'll have to get to terminal 2 which can only be reached by bus, and the bus departs every 15 minutes. If you leave a bit early it will ruin ur experience too. Just stay the night and enjoy yourself! Where are you flying from?

@@Ivanoovietsj72 I love Lisbon as well, such a nice city. One of the coolest capital cities anywhere. In regards to the new airport I don´t really know, the guys in charge right now are crazy. This airport should be moved to outside the city. The current government here doesn´t seem so serious about anything. They just want everyone to get a 50 euro check in the end of the month instead of creating new opportunities so that people want to stay here and address real issues.

I saw your videos about using the train from the airport to the city centre but l still don't understand if the train will be direct or there will be a stop point to change the train every time it reaches another spot? Hello there how are you? Thanks for watching my other video. It isn´t a train, it is a metro system so there are several different lines. It may be or not be direct depending on where in the city you'll be going to. The airport is actually only 7km from the city center, it is literally in the city of Lisbon! thanks for watching. Am sat in one of the most unhelpful dirtiest airports I’ve ever had the displeasure to travel through (, Lisbon)There are ZERO allocated staff in the international part of the airport. Passed people crying trying to get through to customs. Have traveled the world, this is a hell hole.
hello there, the airport needs a major makeover, fact! A world class city like Lisbon deserves a world class airport, but if you think Lisbon is the worse airport you've ever seen..... I have seen way worse...I mean waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay waaaaaaaaaaaaaay worse than Lisbon's, but Lisbon's is far from being the best which is why this video needed to be made and why it is so long. The airport is quite confusing, overworked, overcrowded, etc. The security is very tight though and the screening equipment is state of the art. The city really needs a brand new airport. I'm doing a cross-Europe trip report in a week or so, just wondered if you had any issues making video of the Terminals? Does anyone ask you about it or challenge you?
hello there how are you? If you do this already you already know the answers. FOr the most part you must be extremelly careful when filming. In Portugal and Spain they have laws concerning privacy so try not to show people's faces or to focus on people for some ask you to remove your video. This is valid for videos outside too, specially in smaller cities. In airports try to be extra careful and never film security at all. You can get arrested for that. Be generic and focus on the services offered and stuff. Thanks for writing please subscribe!
