In this video, I'll show you how to get models, set up your scene, and make basic animations! By the end of this video, you'll be able to animate some of your favorite FNaF characters in Blender!
After a long while, I've finally gotten the animation tutorial out! I apologize for the long wait (1 year to be exact 🗿), It's just taken me a while to figure out how to explain this along with dealing with other things.

You can't realize how much you're a useful guy thank you for all your tutorials dude!!
i agreee!
Bro I’ve been searching for a year since I got blender for a decent short animation tutorial that has support and explanations not only in voice but also in text. And has links to nearly every single thing you use. Just watched your accurate rendering video so this is def gunna be a binge night for me.
I just wanted to say that your tutorials are really helpful. The tutorials you have are very useful and I have done some animations with them. Even though the animations that I did might not look good, its a good start and good effort and I'm learning from your tutorials. Thanks!
Finally a actual blender animation tutorial that gets straight to the point
dude, thank you so mutch, this was so helpful,i hope you continue doing the most helpful blender tutorials ever!😁
This is well put together & very helpful (btw the humor fit in perfectly lmao, keep it up)
I decided to watch both the new one and the outdated one and they both helped me about posing and animating and I appreciate you making these vids
This was well made! Deserves more attention!
Thanks for the Tutorial! I just started blender and already learning the basics.
this is a great tutorial. i couldnt find one for ages that actually helped
yes, I guessed that there would be an animation tutorial
WELL NO ITSA STUPID VID
As someone who previously used sfm for animations, i already knew almost everything, but it was nice to figure out how to do the same things in blender. Thanks 👍.
Edit: the spring bones addon will be so useful when I build my pc and start using blender, animating the ears manually in sfm sucked ngl.
TRUEE
bro speaking facts
I learned more and important guides about animating on blender and it helped me to fix the problems I had, Also I enjoyed this video so much :)
amazing job . your current videos are so amazing than before.
Can you make more of these? These tutorials are really well put together!
Bro thank you so much for these tutorials bro, u are and lunaticHugo are the main ones to inspire me to begin animating, i remember having blender 1 year ago in the summer i had no clue what i was doing and gave it all up until u and lunaticHugo AGAIN inspired me to start all over again it took me quite a while to get good then later i finnaly made it then i improved A LOT overtime which was like months, now im here So thank u very much for inspiration BTB
I'm from Brazil and I'm here watching your tutorials, very good, it helped me a lot
thank you for helping me on making smooth animation like this.
I appreciate the work behind that video
Even though I already know how to animate, I learned something new here so thank you!!
Brooo, your a lifesaver! tysm for the tutorial :)
bro ong the most useful channel for fnaf blender
thank you for helping me, I'm much more better at at animating now, because of you:)
AYO! I might do a small animation to see how u and the community does it👀 well if I have the motivation to - but fr I’m so impressed by y’all’s talent on this ! Keep at it!!❤❤
Thanks Luna!!!
Thank you for your tutorials! I've finally learned how to animate (although very badly), after so many years of wanting to because of fnaf animations. Thank you!
Glad I could help!
I love the way you edit these videos
Very helpful. Been looking for this awhile
i need to find that sound effect from the beginning
and holy shit thank you for this tutorial dude, underrated
tysm for this tutorial it helped me alot and now i can make smooth animations
Holy crap due, thank you soo f**ing much, i literally just got blender today and i just animated exactly like you, i credit you for all of my future successful blender animations.
I always use help wanted for ref, for idiol animations I use noise because it automates alot of the movements and then I can just bake them for more flexibility
..I forgot about noise ☠️☠️☠️☠️
@@BTBAnimations would you consider making a tutorial on how to make a fnaf model from an image?
hes an animator, not a modeler@@MrRucciGucci
Idk what to say, thank you for your tutorials, thank you for helping me to get better at animating 💪
Luar
Neat Tutorial.
Incredible work.
thank you so much I would have never figured out how to do it myself and wouldn't dare to watch a super long video you deserve a sub and a like
I wanted to make my own fnaf game using fnaf maker and I couldn't find a animation online so was able to make it myself thanks to you
Finally I have been waiting for this lmao
This video helped me start animating. Thank you
This helped a lot I am not a pro animator but I got the basics down
u are so underated u helped me sooooooooooo much u dont even know
the king returns
Bro be makin the best turtorial
He returns! 🐰
really helpful im not the best blender animator but im sure with your tutorials i can become very good
thanks so much! I'm a 2D animator looking for challenges and the biggest one i found is 3D animating! because of this tutor i alr know the way.
Nice definitely just watched the tutorial in 5 secs
LOL
My new favorite fnaf animator. ❤
Thanks, this helped me a lot
This video motivates me to make another attempt at learning blender, making it my 15th attempt lol (since i always give up and lose interest just to gain it from videos like this)
Your animation tutorial is very good, thank you, I hope you can continue to make tutorials Blender
I will!
The funny part was when you added springbonnie screaming ' MICHEAL!- '
I burst out with laughter.
But honestly, jokes aside, thank you! This is alot easier than SFM as I was struggling with adding models, they wouldn't show up.
This helped me alot, THX!
Thank you, this is very helpful.
this was really helpful
Thanks for this!! Also, if your pfp is a MJ reference I love that!!!
Nice! Your videos just get better and better.
Thanks for the tutorials
tip: use the bounce interpolation type if you REALLY want that stiff animatronic feel
Didn't expect you to whip out the doodle video.
Thx For The Totorial!!
Fun Fact: to boost fps go to the viewport settings around where you ad addons and set the samples to no anti analyzing and simplify it and turn textures on in viewport
thx mate!
After about 1 years later we have got another tutorial
thanks for the spring bones addon
Thank you 🙏
This tutorial was EXTREMELY helpful!
Truly just another underated youtuber
I do have a question, though: have you done any video yet on animating an animatronic walking? I don't know why, but that is just my worst weakness. I always either make it look really floaty, stiff, or just really wonky
Honestly, I myself are bad at animating walking. I'll have a video up when I figure it out though!
Thanks dude
you earnt a subscriber
thank u taught me how to animate
tbh animating in blender isn't as hard as I thought it was going to be! Thanks for the tut, it has really helped!
Lies
@Mittens._.VR1 Its easy if u have patients and time
@@Non-contact I have all that it’s just my lap top sucks really bad so it lags a lot so I just use sfm
These videos are very helpful. However, is it possible for you to make a video showing how to render? I love Scott's... 2000s animusic style renders. But I don't know how to do it. I hope you consider doing it.
I'm not really sure what you're asking here. Are you asking how to make FNaF renders in Scott's style, or how to render animations?
@@BTBAnimations First one. How to make FNaF renders in Scott's style.
Reference is a good way to do animation, yes, about making one from scratch you might wanna start trying to improve on dynamic posing cause there are a lot more when it comes to animaton principles, this also Includes camera angles, scenery and motion. But anyways very cool tutorial!
I also wouldn't recommend to use Springbones, since it's a bad practice for secondary motion and it's always better to do it by hand.
Thanks! Also, I’ll try animating the heads by hand more often. However I’m pretty bad at it…
@@BTBAnimations lol no worries everyone can eventually improve
I would recommend for everyone who is serious about animation in general to buy "The Animators Survival Kit" book as it teaches all principles of animation in an entertaining way, even though its primarily 2d, those same concepts apply anywhere in animation.
Also Nice addon bro
Oh I’ll definitely look into it!
Thanks
Thanks btb animations for these tutorial but can you tell us a tuorial on how to aniamte human models because they are very hard to rig blender
YOURE A LIVE SAVER 👏👏
nice
I used this tutorial to make a pretty good fnaf animation
For anyone who is wondering this animation workflow is called layer animation when you animate part by part by LAYERING several animations of each part together to make a final result
Interesting!
@BTBAnimations it's what some industry level studios do in fact
Thanks bro
Hey dude, I was wondering what kind of animation you would describe as a ‘heavy animation’. But overall you’ve help me out a bunch, cheers pal!
Thanks! A heavy animation is something like falling, running, or flipping, basically anything that looks difficult lol.
@@BTBAnimations Ah I see, thank you!
This guy can read our minds.
🤨🕶👌
Hey, uh… I’m having trouble figuring out how to import textures to the models. Can you make a tutorial on that? Like a quick explanation
why do none of them have pupils? I changed it to texture and its still blank white spears
You might not have the viewport textures enabled. I explained how to do this at 8:24.
Yay 🎉
Will you make a tutorial on how to import a map in blender?
Nice
i did not understand a single part of the video but i can see this being helpful for others
Nice smeaf type edits :)
My edits are more inspired by Finzar, but I do like to watch me some smeaf from time to time :)
hey hey hey hey hey
Your tutorials are amazing. Can you make a tutorial on how to make fnaf models? I've searching for a tutorial like this for a long time lol
I've been thinking about making this for a long time now. But first I've gotta reteach myself how to do it, lol.
@@BTBAnimations lol
help! i litteraly died LAUGHING at "MICHAAAAEEELLL" lmao!
dont leave here!!!! 🤣🤣
The perfect video doesn't exis.....
And this video appears
big help i love you. wait that sounds. never mind still amazing ty. and now bc of you. my animations are better maybe they will get more views. so i say again thank you
That model looks good, I wanted to know if it was ever release?
thanks for fnaf 2 models!
i did a cool dancing animation on freddy, saved an quit but when i came back his hands were at different place (his bones were at the same place and still has the animation). Did i skipr someth while saving, any idea to solve it?
So you’re telling me I manually animated the ears on Withered Bonnie without knowing there was a way to automatically do it- 💀
Still, thanks for the tutorial! This definitely helps a lot!
How do I fix when importing the model to blender it doesn’t load the full model?
how do i practise animating and also i dont know how to move the feet and everything can u do like a normal timelapse basicly no sped up vid please?
is there a way if using wiggle bones to make the top part and bottom part of the ear to have wiggle bones without the top one wiggling too much?
Yeah, you just have to set the influence really low.
When I got blender I didn’t know how to use so I saw this I wanted to make a fnaf anmatoin cause why not and I watched video
😮😮😮😮 i got a heart comment !
