- 3d modeling things from memory is not the easiest, and I have a lot of room for improvement. I made the FNaF 2 withered animatronics from memory, but now it's time to remake them with references! I think it turned out great, and I had a lot of fun!

People don’t realise how hard it is to 3D model, props to you! Whenever I try, it feels like I’m playing with glue that falls apart at the smallest mistake
Yeah, when I was first learning 3d-modeling it was like trying to make something out of wet paper and duct tape, but after enough practice I messed up enough times that I've gotten pretty good at pretending that I know what I'm doing half the time!

Maybe do those F.N.A.F.1 redesigns that’s a mix the Pre-Withered designs with clothing.
Plus Endo Mendo which is just F.N.A.F.2 mixed with Security Breached.
SpringBonnie renamed FrankBunny, and FredBear too.
The Marionette & Circus Baby, as well as the FunTime animatronics.
First thing I’m planning on modeling is Sonic Adventure 2 characters, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Eggman, Rouge, Amy.
Along with Cream & Cheese, Mighty and Ray that I’ll add.
I would like to do a mod of Sonic Adventure 2 where Sonic’s physics is like his Sonic Adventure 1 physics, but with even better momentum and physics.
I don’t think I can do that, maybe until after a couple of years.

I think these models could definitely be used in a fan game! And I do also think the old Freddy & Foxy models look pretty fine too. To quote from the previous video; they're the original FNaF 1 models made from memory, but better.

This really does make you appreciate just how good Scott’s character models are, it’s something we tend to take for granted due to the memes.
I still think the originals look pretty cool, especially the renders, but you definitely have gotten much better with the details, also I love how you keep doing stuff with Golden Freddy's ragdoll.

You messed up on golden freddy, he isn’t an animatronic, he is actually just a suit. That’s why he is always hunched over.

As a fellow 3d modeller, I respect the amount of detail you put into this. Knowing definitely makes it more believable, but I could never put in that much effort. Props!

I think the older versions have their own sort of charm to them, but I think this video is a pretty good example of how important references are when artists are going for accuracy - love your vids 💖✨💖

The old ones look so smooth and much less colorful. It brings them an uncanny feeling. It's like between the line of organic, living creatures and robots. It gives them an original touch that is hard to describe.
Especially the Freddy. Something about him seems less creepy in a way that makes him way more creepy.

These models are very impressive in my opinion and deserve more praise. They aren’t exact replicas of the originals but are still very good in their own way.

I love the original from memory ones, but watching him learn and grow with modeling is really cool to see! Also, as someone who knows nothing about Blender, I can’t help but feel hilariously lost hearing him say ”I merged the layers?” with such shock and anger.
Oof hearing that makes me cry because I've done that while drawing then after making a Clip Studio file a png I notice "oh great the proportions are horrible and I completely forgot to do a segment... AND WHY DID I MERGW THE LAYERS!? F***!"

Sure, I don't use Blender, nor how to use it, but I do digital art and when you merge layers and accidentally save, or you go to an old file and find those layers merged, you find yourself staring at the file with pure anger and possible shock and yelling out, "I MERDGED THOSE LAYERS!?"
"i merged the layers?!" wasn't even related to blender, he moved to a 2D art program for that and i think that makes it even funnier

this really shows just how important references are
they look so good! theyre both accurate enough to being able to know who and what they are but have some stylization that keeps them from being super accurate. this makes them look pretty unique!!!

You’re getting better bro! Here’s a tip, as a young but skilled artist… I recommend that when you’re making something start with shapes and structures to get the basic body shape of your model. When doing the actual head, torso and stuff, also use basic shapes to get it started then mold and mold them together, even add more as you’re going through! Unless you already know that… I’m so happy you’ve improved a lot! (: I’m also subbed to you the first video I saw, you’re so funny! Edit: I know those are from reference and memory, but I do see new skill in you!
I sometimes shape out the proportions with basic shapes beforehand, but I didn't show that part in the video. Maybe I'll show that in future videos! I'm glad you liked it!

it's always been one of my dreams to learn how to do this stuff, but I don't understand it and I can't find a good free website. it's also very time consuming and requires the patience that I don't have.

The most noticable change for me is probably the head size. The "from memory" models all have really small heads compared to the reference and real models

I do 3D modelling, for fun, and I know just How Lonh this stuff takes. It's hard man, lots of tedious work and needed understanding. impressive work man.
Pro tip: The Help Wanted models are fully 3d and completely detailed, so you can probably find a way to put them in Blender for full reference.

I don't know, comments can be mean sometimes. It doesn't really ever get to me too much, especially since part of the "from-memory" thing is so that it won't be exactly right, which is part of the fun! Most of the time I can't tell if people are being serious or not with the mean comments, so I like to just assume they are all sarcastic, even if they aren't. But yeah, wonderful comments from people like you definitely outweigh the mean comments! I'm so glad you liked it!

I love your models! You inspired me to make my own roblox game where I try to make the fnaf characters with roblox studio modeling tools (which are pretty limited lol). You sir are an amazing content creator and deserve so much more attention! I find your other videos to be very entertaining aswell! Thank you!
I find from-memory Chica to be scarier, I think she falls into the uncanny valley just a bit more than the original withered Chica. Her smooth, human-like head feels like a great idea for horror but a really bad idea for a children mascot. Realistically worse than withered, but I can definitely see her in a horror game!
I'm very impressed! My only advice as a traditional artist (not experienced in 3d modeling) is that making the teeth and eyes less white will help make the models look more decrepit/withered. In general, muddy colors help with that. But, honestly, the colors for the bodies, etc, actually work pretty dang well!

I think the old models are much better suited for more dynamic poses, while these new ones are probably more good for animation, where you can see the full movement. Except Endo 02, wow, that monkey pose is full of personality!

These all turned out amazing! The originals were also amazing, but It looks like you’ve gotten way better at 3D modeling. Everything looks so detailed.
I could be wrong since I don’t know anything about 3D modeling, but this looks like it takes so much skill and effort. it’s amazing you can even stay motivated to finish them.
I think it just looks more detailed because he has a direct reference to use, the from memory ones aren’t as detailed because memories are often doodoo fart.
Can we talk about how these models are picture perfect. I don't model things but I can imagine how difficult this must be. Keep up the good work. (Oh and ps if you want to do another one of these videos i would like to toy animatronics thanks) UPDATE I model things now and it is difficult
i dont dislike the original bonnie and chica designs you did! i think bonnie stayed pretty faithful to the original design, and chicas felt like a new take on a creepy character. new design, new spooky feel, i loved it!
The fact these are almost completely accurate (and let’s be honest here, leagues ahead of the originals) should tell you how important references are when modeling, this can even carry onto other things like drawing

I’m actually a fan of the previous chica model. There is this indescribable vibe and feeling get from it and all I can say is it’s some sort of uncomfortable and uncanny sensation that I sense whenever I just look at it.
The head also reminds of the Drawkill model for some reason.

For withered animatronics, i suggest using a noise texture for the displacement, and adjust it to be lower or higher depending on what ur going for

Your getting better dude. The first ones are still good, they have a charm to them that reminds of those old rare fnaf fan games I used to play a lot as a kid. But this is all still good. 3d modelling takes a lot of time so I’m really impressed

I honestly prefer the ones that were made from memory simply because to me the new models you made are basically the same models I've seen hundreds of times but the old models were unique because they hardly resembled the actual models from the game

Something i like personally for Withered Freddy is that he could have a broken leg, but it's still attached, so he limps instead of normally walking, which is a precursor to Phantom Freddy in fnaf 3 not having a leg, and one of his eyes can be a lazy eye, so it feels like a fair trade to bonnie's missing face and arm, Chica's missing hands and broken jaw, and foxy's overall decay and damage
I feel like the proportions were the biggest part in making them look closer to the original, and I absolutely love how you got everything to look

Thats all actually a great improvement to them all, kudos to you. With chica though, its just the eyes you got slightly wrong, the difference is hardly noticeable unless they're side by side though, so it's more than fine.
