I like how in The Flash, they incorporated Keaton Batman's fighting style of using his grapples and the 90's style kung fu with lot of round kicks/spinning kicks vs. modern Batman styles being more compact and punches/elbows.

What I love about Keaton is he brought a theatrical element to his performance which is sadly lacking in later actors who wore the batsuit, also no other actor embrace the Bat motif as much as he does.
It's obviously one consequence of such a restrictive suit, but it's cool to look back and see a Batman who disarms with a single move, stops movement with a single gadget, and flat-out incapacitates with a single punch or kick.
More than 30 years later, Michael Keaton became the third Batman to get a trio of films of Batman alongside Christian Bale (2005-2012) and Ben Affleck (2016-2023) with the Robert Pattinson (2022-present) to get a trilogy for himself.
The man even after walking away from Batman Returns (1992) came back because he loves the character of Batman more than Bale and Affleck combined
Not really a fair assessment. Keaton loves the character, yes, but Affleck was heavily dissuaded by how the studio squandered his time and Bale has said he's opening to returning only if Nolan does.

@@rjk537Yeah. Bale refused to do without the director involved and also he would have been just a ending cameo. I think outside of the paycheck, Keaton did it because the film becomes a third Batman film when he arrives.

that Keaton's Batman suit from The Flash is just another level. doesn't looked too armory like Bale's and Affleck's Batman suit.
Affleck’s suit was the most simplistic out of all of them (unless you’re talking about the suit from the final fight in the Justice League movie)
IMO, Bale’s Batsuit made the armor look work.

Michael Keaton is still my favorite Batman of all time and I was so happy to see him back as Batman in The Flash.

I am surprised at how fast he fights in The Flash for his age. When he jumps into the group fight it’s amazing 🤩
The fact that he knocked out a Kryptonian with bombs at his age before dying...that alone sealed the deal for the case that he was the greatest version of Batman across the multiverses.
Given how much more advanced his suit is compared to the ones he had in the 90's, I'd think he had some tech in his suit to amplify his strength and speed a bit.

I like how they made a different fighting style for Keaton compared to Bale.
Batkeaton is more agile and precise. The Batarang making a comeback with him throwing multiple of them showing he has an arsenal in his belt. Still preserving the no kill rule by knocking everyone out with a strong blow to the head.
Batfleck is more brutal. No pun ch was held back and his punches mostly targeted to more painful areas to disable like joints and neck. Unlike Keaton he uses more sharper bat throwing knives that could litereally break an AR in half. In the Warehouse fight, he really targeted joints. Unlike most Batman that have existed. Bale's popped joints and broke bones and makes sure they won't get back up while other Batman mostly knock targets out.
Like Christopher Reeve with Superman, Keaton is the one true cinema Batman.
I must give Brandon Routh credit for excellently carrying on Reeves' legacy.
Nobody has remotely filled Keaton's shoes to date.

i love this version of batman
I really like , no i really love this version of Batman or Keaton's Batman. Something about this version just makes me adore him. When he listens to Flash not attacking the ship and he says okay. Like a grandfather vibe to this character. I want to see another movie of Keaton playing Batman again. ❤ The only reason why i want to see this movie again and again even with so many flaws.

if they are planning on bringing keaton back for some more batman movies, then i suggest they do it now before its too late, hes in his 70s , before you know it he'll be in his 80s. i think he has about 2 or 3 more batman films left in him, the last one can be batman beyond where he trains the new batman.
This was a Phenomenal Video for My Second Favorite Live Action Version of Batman and My Third Favorite Version of Batman of All Time. I’m so Happy That Michael Keaton got a chance to Reprise his Role as Batman in The Flash Movie After 31 Years since Batman Returns.

I think the fight scene at 8:34 is probably the best batman fight scene I've seen so far. It mixes in an element of whimsicality that you don't really get from the other batmen..

Michael Keaton showed so many different characteristics of how batman really is, like his witty humor mixed with beating up the bad guys usually always making them do extra moves just to knock them out with a single blow or making them hit there own people and saying something really Cool before preforming a badass k.o.
After all these years, I just noticed that when he does the neck-noose with the grapple gun on the guy at the chemical factory, at 0:46 he watches him for a few seconds to make sure he didn't accidentally kill him. A nice little detail.

Yes, even Heath Ledger's Joker. His Joker had one clear goal throughout the entire movie and you always knew what he was going to do next. That's not Joker. Burton understood this universe better, and he didn't even read the comics. Nolan did read the comics, and somehow fucked it up.
Completely agree. Nolan's films are dated AF. 89, Returns, BvS and The Flash are the best ways to watch Batman in action and as a character.

Keaton and Calle was the only reasons I had in seeing the movie. The latter only because Supergirl hadn't been in film in forever and the leaks I saw were opposite from the CW crap; and the former for the obvious return. And while that return was spectacular, I was disappointed that the movie mostly mischaracterized that version of Batman and Batman in general.
I didn't know it before, but his original Boots are actually Nike sneakers with leather uppers and shin guards.
2020s decade is an interesting decade, cause not only we gotten to see the return of michael keaton as batman but also we gotten to see mike tyson return to the boxing world, and also we gotten to see stone cold steve austin return in the wrestling world.

Honestly I got to say I like how he fought in the original Tim Burton films more than in The DC.E.U., even if that version is technically an alternate version of Batfleck instead of the Batman from the Tim Burton films. It's like how I feel about M.C.U.'s Captain America's fighting in The 1st Avenger and Avengers 1 compared to after. More "Basic" you know, and it got the job done

I liked how they ended his story. He got a warriors death like he wanted and he's probably the only batman to accomplish his mission. He said gotham was one of the safetest cities in the world. So he won. He actually did what he set out to help do. Just further proving he is the best batman to date. I dont see bales gotham being the safest city at thd end. Sure he started some change but his Gotham is still gotham.
Actually, Bale didn't change anything. Gotham will continue to have crime. Joseph Gordon-Levitt taking up the mantle is the proof that Gotham will never get better.
BatKeaton made Gotham one of the safest cities in the world because he didn't follow the bullshit no-kill rule. He's the single greatest Batman of all time.
