One of my favorite things you do is laugh at yourself when you make a mistake. I am learning to do that more and not feel too bad when something doesn’t turn out the way I expected. I even hear your little laugh in my head.

The highlight of my Saturday mornings; coffee and soothing inspiration. I'm so impressed that you have so many different ideas for food prep, quite the variety! Garden and. Studio progressing nicely.
A farmer told me to plant banana peels with my tomatoes. It fertilizes them and gives them a sweeter taste. Another farmer told me to put in a scoop of Epsom Salt when I plant them. I've tried doing it both ways and they work well!

I love your tendency towards warm colors in your clothing and home decor. I tend towards those as well. The basil will do even better if each plant is separated from the other and pinched back occasionally. I have seen one basil plant get to about 2 foot tall by 1-2 foot wide! Have a restful mother's day enjoying your family.

Your new potting table is lovely, just the right height, and perfect in that corner. I will keep my fingers crossed for all your plants that you are growing. We only moved into our New home on the 20th December, so we have all the garden to do. At the moment we just have lawn everywhere, but my Husband bless him, is on with doing as much as he can to fix up our back garden this year. I'm hoping once done it will leave me with enough space for one of the growing beds you have, might not be as big, but fingers crossed I atleast get to grow something. But saying that our weather over here is awful, if it doesn't start to pick up soon, I can't see us having a great summer this year at all. How did you manage to find such a lovely home on such a lovely plot, you are very lucky, your home is beautiful. 🥰🇬🇧🐾🐾🌷

Thank you very much for the hint about planting basil with the tomatoes. I am definitely going to do that. You inspired me to get back to my artwork. I retired in January and I think it would be a lot of fun. I major in art in high school and getting married and have kids I kind of put it aside. I enjoy the folk art like you. I also used to have the same problem when I had a lot to do in one day and one of the activities I had to do I got so immersed in it I lost track of time. So what I do now is set a timer when I have to do something thst required all of my attention especially if it's my favorite thing to do. Hope this helps.

Fixing the water fountain: since I see there's a bit of in between space the, just pull the wire through and make a hook to hang it on the edge of container. Hope this helps! We have a pond at home and we hook the underwater potted plants like this and it's not noticeable...
I like to put an egg underneath my tomato plants. The calcium form the shell helps with blossom end rot as well as the nutrients from the egg itself. 🍅

I have struggled growing basil. I just learned to wait to plant basil until it’s really warm out, so hopefully that helps.

The best part is always when she looks at us as if we could help her. Ha-ha! Oh chair on a table!! We are not the only ones who do that.. or chair on a chair. Invest in a light aluminium ladder, it's life-changing. Keep it in the STUDIO. Easy to click together, to carry, it has wide stairs, very safe even if you are on the top and there is a compartment to put items in. Please please please, don't turture us with the word "science", it is SINCE. We can let go of the rest, are used to the "wack-you-m-cleaner" but the "science" is a killer. If you could say "since" from here on, it'd be appreciated. We don't wanna miss a thing... your little films are great.. ♡♡♡ xx..

Our weather in the Mid Atlantic has been similar these past two weeks. More clouds and rain than sun. I have spent my days changing gears between inside and outside tasks. So far, the tomatoes, peppers and herbs are planted. Plenty of time for annual flowers.

I love the music!! This video is jam-packed with inspiring ideas, Noemi. I want to try those roll-ups with the paper thin (cabbage?). It seems like a great way to get in some more veggies in my diet.Watching Zsolt climb the chair-on-top-of-the-table, and you standing at the bottom, I was holding my breath a little. He’s fearless, and a just get-it-done kind of guy! I especially love the gardening tips and can’t wait to play in the dirt! 🌱

If you'd like a more robust arch for your garden, buy some PVC pipe and end caps. Screw the end caps onto the edges of your raised beds at regular intervals and then put the ends of the PVC pipe into them. You can create taller or shorter arches, depending on the length of the PVC pipe you use. You can also attach each arch to its neighbor by using + fittings or T fittings. And then you can drape insect netting, shade netting, or greenhouse plastic across it and just use an old 2x4 to anchor it on the ground alongside the sides of the raised bed. Having said that, though, I'm jealous of your garden. I haven't been able to have one for a number of years and I really miss it!

You can use that container you keep your soil in as the filler as well. Meaning you can fill your pots right from it

I am so surprised that you have so much growing in your garden...especially different kinds of flowers. I live in New England on Cape Cod and we have spring flowering trees, shrubs and bulbs in bloom with a few herbs like chives, thyme & lemon balm. Mint & oregano are only about an inch or two high. I still have the heat on and wearing my down coat while you are dressed for spring! I assume we are on the same latitude and perhaps you are higher. I have never fried spring rolls and I always use fresh not cooked in them so will give the fry a try. Just to say that I think it is wonderful that even w such a busy schedule that you give whatever you are doing your full attention and make everything look special. You have one lucky family.
