That's me as well lol. Gotta remember the operating word being master. But hey with time and determination even we could reach that level. These Ryu players didn't start as god's they picked him and grinded hard in the lab and ranked and earned their titles. Do you want to do that?
The Salt Merchant Man I'm 36 been playing SF my entire life. Super Silver is about as good as I'm going to get. Finding really hard to break the bad habits I've acquired over the years.
People are always saying that i need to drop Ryu because he's low tier and I generally answer: "maybe you're right, maybe it's time to switch".
Then i see some otani, nl, justfog and amkidd and I'm like: "fuck that!"

Brilliant! There is something to be said for enjoying the simplicity and straight-forwardness of Ryu, no gimmicks just solid gameplay and fundamentals. I love how these two players have their signature Ryus too - it might be just me but in SFV it seems less evident/apparent who is playing from the character skin/colour which is a bit strange as there's surely much more customisability in SFV than there was in USF4. I guess it comes down to pared down playstyles too though.

capcomfan82 I'm the biggest Ryu fan and a pretty decent player myself, but there are certain characters that pose a true threat no matter your skill level Zeku, Colin, Bison, Falke, Guile, Vega, Chun Li and oddly enough, Sakura

You have to use arcade stick to pull this moves... so any players using pad don’t stand a chance against stick players.
