I took belly dancing lessons about 15 years ago and the woman who taught me reminds me so much of Rishi except she was blonde and her name was Karina, but otherwise...pretty much the same. Sweet, a little naive, very fun.
As Laozi said: "a bowl is most useful when it is empty" Most other owners have their bowl full to the brim and the lid shut. Hers is just empty so she has much less issue changing.

This show just makes me proud to have worked in this industry for 10 years. I had to change careers because I wanted different things in life but I have mad respect for everyone in the industry that does their best and takes food service seriously, chef, waitress, dishwasher, owner, they’re all important and good staff make or break businesses. Prohibition Grill closed down in 2017. Pretty shortly after the restaurant was rebranded by the new owners to Abbott´s. It closed down again in 2021. Currently it runs as the Flying Pig. Reviews arent anything spectaculair but not as bad as they used to be. Rishi now works as a restaurant manager at Tulalip Resort Casino in the Seattle area

One of my favourite episodes...you can not help but love Rishi.
when someone says "i'm not stupid" over and over again, you know they have been called stupid on a regular basis and more than likely they are.
But she has a nice personality though, she didn't get angry when insulted, was patient and treated her staffs well unlike most of the owners on the show. It's just too bad it's common for people to take clueless people as a joke, she just needed to be taught I think, the kind that needs to be surrounded by good people in order to learn things :-) she ended up being one of the few owners who listened to Gordon's advice and changed a lot, very good for her!
I've been called STUPID, BASTARD, JERK, and all unholy things when I'm going through puberty and overtime I just got tired of listening and denying it again again and again that when they tell me I'm stupid I'd reply "Haha, yeah I know. But I can't do anything since I'm born with a small brain", I'm glad I'm the eldest child so I can slap people who say that to my younger sisters. I pity people who have to go through that.

This show just makes me proud to have worked in this industry for 10 years. I had to change careers because I wanted different things in life but I have mad respect for everyone in the industry that does their best and takes food service seriously, chef, waitress, dishwasher, owner, they’re all important and good staff make or break businesses.

Prohibition Grill closed down in 2017. Pretty shortly after the restaurant was rebranded by the new owners to Abbott´s. It closed down again in 2021. Currently it runs as the Flying Pig. Reviews arent anything spectaculair but not as bad as they used to be. Rishi now works as a restaurant manager at Tulalip Resort Casino in the Seattle area
