It’s a beautiful looking model but on the next one I’d recommend starting from a rusty brown base then a heavy dry brush of black and then the silver dry brush it’s my favorite way to do under skeletons really let’s the depth of the panels come out.
Couldn't agree more with that comment, I'm really enjoying your content. I've been gaming quite a while but only recently started really trying to become a better painter.
a really interesting paint scheme execution, largely overbrushing and drybrushing isn't something i've seen a lot of people do to knights but it looks striking! awesome look rokki!
Thank you! I figured it would be the best way to achieve the weathered look I was going for. In hindsight, I wish I had used the same technique to paint the highlights too. They look a little off because I tried to glaze them.
Damn!!!! Excellent work! I'd love to see this on tabletop. One side not though, If you added some mud/water effects one the lower legs and feet, it might help the piece feel more dynamic. Those parts would definitely be rusted/decrepit, BUT Either way still excellent work!
He really stands out on the table haha, I'll grab a photo while I'm out playing today :) That's a great idea! I didn't really think about incorporating mud into the theme too
@@Rokkis_Gaming_Lounge Check out the feral painter he uses lots of enamel washes. lately its a lot of villainy inks but go back in his vids 6 months. villainy inks are awesome to for weathering.
Hi there! I used a Citadel Drybrush M for the metallic parts. First time using this brush, really liked it. The smaller one is just a random cheap brush I picked up from a supermarket I think :)
Love the long form painting videos! Keep up the great work 🫡
Thank you so much! Appreciate the feedback 🙏

Looks really good. You should give it a wash of streaking grime...
Thank you! I'll take a look into it, haven't used that before!

Hi! What brushes are you using to drybrush this metal and off-white paint at the beggining?
