Plating Aluminum, Zincate plating, double zincate, then alkali copper

Using Caswell Zincate to Zinc plate aluminum as the first step (zincate always is) in plating aluminum. Since aluminum oxidizes readily a step that both removes the oxide and deposits another more "plateable" material must be used when plating aluminum. This preliminary step is called Zincation.
