Franks Flies never fail! 💪🏻 I’m waiting to see you at Pennine to so can pass you some of the “nothing” flies. The takes off them are brutal. Also from Jack at Franks Flies

Been doing a lot of mid week fishing BC at my local club water as its only 2 mins from work and i do a split shift so 11 - 2pm is fishing time, plus its local. Now the football is ending on Monday for Huddersfield my weekends will be free, so yes we will have to have a meet up. Regards MD

Again when they jump pull them down and hold the rod sideways. Just can’t stress this enough especially with trout I had seen so many anglers loosing them with the rod high up and with the same setup I was almost always able to pull them in when I kept the rod and line pulling sideways and down not up. Just my only few cents of knowledge I can really not stress enough from what I can recommend doing, which I see a lot of people not even trying.

Been fishing at Pennine for years, great fishery and yes olive and even orange apps work well there, taking my son tomorrow and gonna try and produce my first ever video of the event, thanks for inspiring me, gotta get the kids into fly fishing and away from the PlayStations, no better surroundings than Pennine, good craic, good views, excellent fish and clean air.

Hi thank you very much for your films, great. I used to go often to Penine fishery. What rod weight do you mostly use there:6 or 7 or 8.
I used mostly 7 and 8 but my question is, will 5/6 rod be ok or too low weight for those fish.

Hi my little go too rod is a 5wt, landed many good fish on it. Max I've used was a 6/7. Thanks for watching regards MD

I visited Pennine for the first time this week. I had six good fish all on buzzers, I will be giving it a another go before too long and will try the olive apps. I noticed the vast majority of those fishing were all on the upper lake, why is this?

Hi The lower lake is fishable only on 2 sides and then you have back cast restriction. lots of good fish in the lower lake. Regards MD

Hi can I ask what make is the floating line you use? As it looks like a nice fly line to use.
