I've bought flies from Robert in the past. When it's a reliable company, he will send before payment / while the payment is being made. He's probably the best Kenyan to work with for flies regarding quality and actually delivering. I'm sorry to hear there's been that type of scam going on, but as he put up a post to explain and apologize, I still stand by the fact he's a really good person I've met a few times in real life. Keep up the good work MD, I love your channel and I'm sorry for both of you that you got tangled into this !

Really not helped by individuals who are stupid enough to believe you're a scammer....if they're that stupid theyre likely to be scammed themselves....karma! You don't need to prove yourself to us Mucka, even as regular subscribers, we actually know you, trust you, have complete confidence in you. The idiot that sold the stuff without receiving payment, is a fool, but isn't it ridiculous that that fool can't get at the Thief who literally stole his flies, trading and hacking have gone bonkers. 100% supporter.

From what I can understand, this individual was scammed, which fair enough, it can happen to anyone when we are not 100% cautious. But instead of contacting his local authorities or messaging this scammer directly, he instead decided to drag MD's name through the mud on his social media, to no benefit to his case. In fact by posting information about his case on social media he has now thrown any chance of him getting the money he wants out of the windows. From what I can see by his social posts, MD is still tagged, which actually makes this individual liable for slander against MD. I will never understand the mental capacity, or lack there of, you need to have to not take the immediate steps to resolve the problem in the proper way, instead of slandering MD on social media. To those supporting MD, I thank you all. To those joining the slander, I advise you to start thinking for yourself rather than accepting every shred of information you are spoonfed through social media. I would also advise finding some kind of purpose in life, maybe touch some grass.

Some thing similar happened to uk flyfisher he tyed a fly called black mamba someone pinched a fly sent it to kenya it came back as black Mombasa so I can feel for you pal Barry

Hi Mick was it you that had the round disc that gave you a guide to what type of fly to use around the country at different times of the year.? If so have you thought about getting them made and selling them. You only need to change the design to make it yours 👍

Are you fishing in a stocked pond?? Here in the states fishing for trout in streams is a whole different story, trout can be very selective. I tied some of your leech patterns with rabbit strip and orange bead. I’ll be trying one out tomorrow on the Salmon River in Upstate NY for coho, , kings browns and steelhead. I’ll let you know how well it does.

Again when they jump pull them down and hold the rod sideways. Just can’t stress this enough especially with trout I had seen so many anglers loosing them with the rod high up and with the same setup I was almost always able to pull them in when I kept the rod and line pulling sideways and down not up. Just my only few cents of knowledge I can really not stress enough from what I can recommend doing, which I see a lot of people not even trying.

This has been ban at a few trout fisheries in the north east coast including my local 🤦🏻‍♂️ it’s outrageously deadly!!
