I wish I've seen this video before deciding to purchase the whole series

Well honestly I really loved the 2nd trilogy... I mean they deserve to be happy right? I mean knowing that they had a past together... And how Aaron always fell for Ella vice versa... In the first trilogy we only wanted juliette and aaron moment, only them! In the 2nd trilogy it's only them.. Just kenji is there to tell his pov.. I really loved the 2nd trilogy more than 1st trilogy except ignite me I kind of like don't like unravel me and shatter me, in unravel me and shatter me I like loved the juliette and warner moments but you know unravel begins with meh adam and juliette moment.. Well it's just my opinion

@@aleyafathima1298And I think a lot of people feel the same way as you do! Like you said, it really is focused on Warner and Juliette, which you liked! I guess I just thought they were going to focus more on world development and healing from the reestablishment. So I went in with the wrong expectations!

and in the second book idk if it was just me but they made a pretty big deal of nazeera n kenji but then like they ditched it all in the last book and we got basically nothing from them

I agreed with you.. the second trilogy got a bit draggy. I’m at my last book which is imagine me. But I don’t feel like reading it😅 It’s better to just end at Defy me if your start reading the second trilogy already. 😊 Imagine me is too much and draggy

Thanks for your sacrifice. I was doubting of reading the second arc. Now I know that it will be better to not do it 😅. Thanks ❤❤❤

I’m so glad someone else finally sees the delusion and ridiculousness of the second trilogy. It’s just soooo bad 😅

THANK. YOU. It truly is ridiculous & such a downgrade from the first trilogy. Not worth it.

I'd never thought about that, actually. It makes perfect sense that she could've developed the world and what happens after the Reestablishment, but I also feel like destroying it is such a big task to accomplish. Surely there was no need for her to repeat some of the same things and the entire plot of defy me in imagine me (man, that book was a mess 🥲) so maybe that's the biggest issue, there was so much she could do with the last book but it kinda felt short for a series finale. Another thing is, I read ignite me right after it came out, but because there was such a big gap between the old and new trilogy, I feel like she could've advanced the story a few years or something, because it just doesn't make sense that all of that happened in the span of a few weeks or months. Maybe new fans won't feel that difference, but it was a little strange to pick up the new books so many years later and the story was right where it left off at the end of ignite me in 2014. I have to say, though, that I did not mind one bit that the books revolve around warner and Juliette's relationship, defy me is my favorite book of the second trilogy and I really like the plot twist, because shatter me was always a romance first with the dystopian and fantasy elements taking the back seat, and their romance is my absolute favorite since I was 13, so I was just excited to have more of them after so many years!
