I will say: I judge but also respect the people who don't tidy up before sending in a picture. They said "this is me. This who I am. Unedited. Unfiltered. You can judge me. You can hate me. But I will NEVER pretend to be something I'm not."
To me, in some not small way cleaning or tidying up before you send it a pic detracts from the spirit of the game.

I must say that book buying is an addiction. The joy I feel being in a book store or receiving a book in the mail ensures that I will forever own a million books I have not read. Not that I don’t intend to read them though!

I thought we might get knocked for an excess of boardgames if anything, but the reason the book shelves look nice is because they get all the attention while our boardgame shelves on the next wall descend into chaos. I'll take tryhard though, we do put effort in to make the room nice.

Every smear at a Funko Pop makes me feel VALIDATED
I LOATHE those tacky pieces of plastic yet own 6 from receiving them as gifts. I don't trust those beady, soulless copy-pasted black eyes that stare into the void.
They are extremely tacky, but I still think them to be quite fun.
I have tried that it looks absolutely amazing but I used alot of my favorite books and found that I couldn't take them out for a re read without finding another of the same size to replace it

One of those "Funko pop" collections wasn't Funko pops, it was Nendroids, which are basically what Funko pops are a cheap souless knock off of.
Nendroids are posable and usually come with alternate parts and expressions, giving you the choice to vary your display of the character, and allowing the character to actually maintain some integrity.
I am 100% in with you on the hatred of Funko pops, they are souless corporate moneygraps made of cheap vinyl, distorting a characters appearance to a comical degree, to which they barely resemble them at all.
But Nendroids are sick. You can't change my mind there.

My favorite book shelf we had was when our basement was unfinished and we didn't have room for all my mother the English teachers vast collection of books, so we just stacked the books between the studs making walls of books

As someone who's had rainbow shelves in the past, I know my books so well that I know what colour any specific one is so I could find one pretty easily
Knowing where stuff is in a rainbow shelf is deffo easy! My true challenge is now that I use sprayed edges as part of the rainbow and can't remember what is what🤣 I had to pull up my order history to find A Little Hatred (red egdes....) 🤭
