romantasy is not my favourite subgenre of fantasy, esepcially when i share on booktube BUT the concept of divine rivals is done well and also an important message people say its shallow because they think writing letters is a like online dating throuhg whatsapp but i disagree....what i love is the male character was not objectified with features as per the female gaze and the unique magic and its link with the plot is interesting thank for sharing

I’m so happy I’m not the only one who feels this way. No jugdement , but I hate Jude, I just see her as a selfish kid, I hate the way she is “I want power” “I am going to go there and I am going tobe the one who saves prince Dain.” Like I just hate it so much. And I think the same way about the thing with cardan , this bullying thing is so… i don’t even have words to describe it. I hate this book, but still I will read the second, just to see if it gets better.

I felt like there were so many unanswered things in the end of the book and so many characters with unfinished endings like what about luc,marisol,apollos brother and what does the valors do after the end of the book? Do they tell the world that they are valors? The last book would have been so fun with luc in it idk why they never showed him.. Also there were so many characters with so much potential but stephanie either didnt show them too much or THEY NEVER APPEARED LIKE HELLO?!?like the pregnant maiden,jester mad and like all fates . It would have been fun if there were more fates in ouabh since all of them were in north except poison. I feel like it would have been better if they also mentioned scarlett and donatella in the end.i know its not their book but still Also after everything that happened in the first two book between evajacks i thought their kiss would be so magical but we were robbed like😢😢i wanted to see them married.

I have a few points though 😭 Legend was purposely making Tella think he was pulling away and think he was uninterested, that was part of his ruse to get Tella to behave the way she did for his plannnn. And at the end of the book, it’s revealed that Tella knew it was Legend from the moment he laughed when she was trying to get her blindfold off against the door, no cheating, she knew it was him, she just enjoyed playing along, the readers are the only ones that didn’t know😭

You want to know what I realized when reading the book? So, throughout the middle of the book Maven refers to himself as “the shadow of the flame” always being in Cals shadow. But flames don’t have shadows.

I agree with you, but I did continue, I hated the novella as well and didn’t like Nesta book. I find Rhys and his circle to be hypocrites. I will continue, because I'm interested in finding out more and a redemption arc for Tamlin

When I read the part where Peeta gave her flowers and she thought of Gale , I almost threw the book across the room and started to ball out my eyes out. I don’t know why she had this beautiful man in front of her and thought of that ugly man Gale

I actually think her stripping made some sense. In their first games, peeta strips naked to bathe and says that he doesn't care if she sees him naked, and katniss says that she cares

I agreed with you.. the second trilogy got a bit draggy. I’m at my last book which is imagine me. But I don’t feel like reading it😅 It’s better to just end at Defy me if your start reading the second trilogy already. 😊 Imagine me is too much and draggy

you should try polticial fantasy like game of thrones. there are many subgenres romantasy is one(twilight, acotar..) there is also epic hero ones like eragon, mistborn then there is academia one like harry potter i jsut dont want people to see fantasy as a single thing like only of stephanie garbers or sarah j maas there is much more

in india, harry potter was probably the only englihs movie we would watch..other wise it used to be mainly indian mvoies but she created a phenomenon in many common wealth countries. we knew about way before the north americans started to either read it or watch most of us who would read either math books or relgious books, the only secular book they would read, the teens were harry potter we would even ship various characters and many of us found cedric cute we even started to fan base emma watson. once the books were out the teen would buy it form the shops, and read it the entire night. it was such a crazy school day for us missed my childhood but now the bookshops in the cities here are becoming less common we have earned a name for startup and tech but the fantasy book reading club was fading away in india i missed thsoe days it was almost every urban indian family's childhood and im surprised you did not have a childhood with it the theatres would be crowded for the goblet of fire, but movies like king kong, there was literally no one thank you
