    Thank you for your dedication to the gliding community, could you make a video for the latecomers telling them about the thermal engine and how to set up x-plane, in general, to get them up and staying in the air, please.

      I need a little more information than "goes backwards" before I can answer that Marcos. But here's a few possible reasons...
      launch runway is uphill
      high windspeed
      tow plane is behind glider

    try to fly slower in thermals...if you fly 70 kits it will be harder to find the thermal and center it

      Ian's ASK-21 has a keybinding for a "trigger trim" system. You can assign to a key or button that instantly sets the trim for thermalling. I've not had a chance to play with that yet but yes I generally do slow down when circling. It's amazing how one's IQ drops when you're trying to narrate & video & fly at the same time :-)
