I love knight customs stuff! I've got a few of their bits on my scx10
Great tips James! Thanks for posting!
Thanks.
Very clever detail!! I really like your Shapeways Store, and I just subbed here.

Excellent well done impressive scribed 😎
Took photos yesterday of a fullsize example, and noticed that the alcove for the filler cap was painted the same colour of the body
Nice
Nice job, looks really nicely done but I don’t really understand as actually it is intended to be installed the way you say it’s not intended. You’ve found a nice way of doing things but you’re supposed to insert it from outside and screw it on the inside. Just saying.
KretinzUnited hi, you may be mistaking this for the part that was released by another company. The part shown here was designed by me, so this is how I designed it to be installed.
Ok sorry for the mixup and as i said it looks really nice 👍.

Crazy right?
Outside in looks btr than inside out
It looks 3D printed is it
Steve Leahy yes, 3D printed.
Knight Customs is there a way to smooth it out
Yes we recommend 2-3 coats of Tamiya primer followed by a light sand with 1200 grit wet & dry (dry).
Nice job, but the hole is too far down. Look at a real LR. Bye
