my first retro was the rp4 pro and i wanna get more handhelds eventually
Yeee its addictive. Rly have to controll myself not to buy all of them hahaha
This is why I got the Odin 2. Slowly setting up each console as I want to play it. And playing a little bit of everything.
But the desire to get a tiny thing like Miuu or Abernic 35xx slowly creeps up at me.
Maybe… maybe…
Awesome! Love the year in review format and your editing is top notch
Much appreciated!
Awesome video. I bought a 350p a couple of years ago but barely touched it. Ive been thinking about getting a miyoo mini plus recently. Keep it up! Subbed 🐸
Highly recommend the Miyoo Mini plus if your goal is to play PS1 or below. Great handheld with the best OS in my opinion.
good video man, the editing and general quality is very professional, nothing to scoff at, keep up the good work
Thank you!
the 100 hour reviews are top notch. thats how i found u and ill gladly watch more videos like those
Thank you!
Good man, another retro achievement lover. Dropped you a follow on it
A hardcore retro achiever too ;)
@@8bitbongo no other way
Truth!!
Pretty sure Russ started with the 350 so you are in good company
My first retro handheld was a miyoo mini + that I bought because I got impatient waiting for my rp4 pro. That being said I have been emulating on the PC for over a decade.
My 353m is my baby, but I play my ODIN2 so much these days.
Of all my devices the RG351P replicates gba the best for me so when Im playing a gba game I grab my ol’ 351p
Totally agree with this!
Weird but my first Emulation Handheld was my PSP-2000 wich to this day has my favourite ergonomics but sadly it's battery life get's worse and worse for longer gaming sessions and it's hard to find good battery for the console.
This is the reason why I bought the RG35XX-H because the first Retro Game Handheld I saw was about the RG351P and fell in love with it's simple designe BUT the screen was a deal breaker for me because I wanted a 4:3 device for NES, Arcade snd PS1 games but Anbernic just did the more expensive metal shells for years wich I dont like. The the RG35XX-H happened and it's a joy to play on it. And it can do simple PSP JRPG's wich is a big Win for me. I already played all the bigger games like Gid of War on my PSP years ago.
Won't buy another device because of my Switch but many things can happen in one year only.
Greetings from Hungary!
I've heard many great things about the 35XX-H, glad you are enjoying it!
Cool video bro, I will love to know if the RP4 pro is getting still the issue with the triggers or where they fixed?
Based on what I've heard, I think it's only the first round of units that had the issue.
@@8bitbongo thank you for response, I am also interested on knowing from your experience, which is better the RP4 pro or the RP2s?
@@MGPDrawGames I haven’t purchased/reviewed the 2S. But from the specs and reviews I’ve seen on it, the 4 pro is going to outperform by a long shot in terms of emulation. But if you aren’t planning on playing GameCube and above, the 2s is beloved by many and has a really cool form factor in my opinion.
Hey it would be helpful if you make a vid on the best settongs for clear gaming in rg351p? Cus i recently bought it
I'm thinking I need to make a more indepth video/set up on the rg351p which would include more information on this!
I’m looking for travel companion that can play ps1 and below. I want compact size and screen is big enough to see similar gba sp or larger. I don’t care about retroachivement. I don’t want WiFi or android. I’m thinking to buy rg280m, rg351p and 353ps. What do you suggest me to buy.
If you don't want wifi, 351P is such an excellent device for this.
Yes, the 351P is great!
@@8bitbongo I buy black one. Now waiting for shipment and it to arrive at my house.
If you leave the bluetooth and wifi off on a rg35xx H, you would enjoy most of the rg351p’s charm with a bump in the processor. I use to not care about WiFi but scraping my roms with a dongle gets old quick.
How are you enjoying your Rp4?
So far it's great! I've been playing almost exclusively on it for the last few weeks and enjoying a lot of gamecube, DS, N64 and some PS2.
@@8bitbongo That's great to hear! I've been loving mine for light switch games and ports. PS2 is incredible with widescreen patches~!
Just some friendly advice, don't bother reviewing games. There are thousands of channels reviewing games and by comparison only a couple dozen reviewing retro handhelds. Give it a try if you want, but don't be surprised when those videos don't get views.
Perhaps reviewing translations and hacks would be better as no one is doing that on these channels and the two go hand in hand
I’d have to disagree. There are not many people reviewing old school games from a modern point of view
@@spy_spoon8355I love the long form retrospectives on older games. The more popular games have loads of videos like that
@@asbasbasb9312that's a good idea about hacks and translations
You don't even have 200 subs. You can beat your feet with the advice. Like listening to a homeless person tell you about the housing market😂
