The usual tasteless vulgarity from someone who had to purchase all their own furniture (rather than inheriting it)……
Punta Cana is not glamorous. It's tacky, boring, and dreadful.
What happens to these people when they are about to die? They run a quick inventory of the mahogany desks with mother-of-pearl and the oil landscapes of old masters they cannot take with them? Will they think of all the natural, human and other animal resources wasted to cater for their needs? Will that cross their minds at the end? What happens to the great illusion after death?
You live in one room with a mattress and a bare light bulb, do you?
