    Nice demo. I'm looking forward to the GP-200 coming out soon, more power, larger EXP pedal, more footswitches with LED rings, MIDI, etc.

      Thanks for watching/commenting. The GP-200 is an upgrade for sure, but it will be double the price if not yet more. Larger footprint as well. Thanks again, & if you have not already, please subscribe.

      @MUSICIANGeek great content. I just bought the Valeton 200 and have been watching your videos. Wow this thing does a lot! At the begining you say how your hooked up. I was wondering if you could do a video on how to hook up the Valeton via xlr and by usb. Im new to hooking pedals up to a computer. I use presonus recording software. Not sure how to record via usb into software or by xlr. Which way is better etc. And how does the computer control the footpedal on screen?
      Anyway, hope this makes sense. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
      Keep rocking!!

      @@justbob9006 Glad you are getting some use out of the Valeton GP-200, & my videos.
      OK, so the way I have it setup in my videos is because I already have a recording interface, & it has 4 inputs on it.
      I use 1 input for the microphone "for the voice over me talking parts" & then out of the left & right XLR outputs into the interface, that goes into my computer. I need a mic input to do it that way. Do you already have a recording interface to use with your DAW? If yes, then just connect 2 XLR cables for the left & right outputs, & then plug them into your interface. Then adjust the levels on your interface, & in your DAW when recording.
      If you don't have a recording interface already, you can use the Valeton GP-200 as a recording interface.
      You will have to go to the Valeton website, & download the Driver for the recording interface. It is the Valeton ASIO Driver. You will then have to connect the Valeton GP-200 to your computer via USB, install the software, & configure your DAW to use the Valeton GP-200 as your rerecording interface, then off you go. Now for the software that controls the foot pedal, you will have to download the software for that also from the same website, & make sure that you are connected via usb cable to your computer. I hope this helps.
      Download Here

      @@MUSICIANGeeK thank you very much for this info. I have a Presonus Audiobox USB 96. with 2 XLR inputs with 1/4 inch within it. Thank you for clearing up the usb computer connection as well. I am old school. From 4 track cassette days. Bounce and bounce again etc. Lol! The DAW is a game changer for sure. The Valeton 200 is as well. Way better than my footpedal collection. It should be delivered on Saturday 7-1-23. Can't wait!!

    Hello 👋 just wondering why you didn’t do a clean tone with unit bypassed first for the acoustic? We don’t have the sound of the unaffected tone from the guitar and pickup system…

    • @MUSICIANGeeK

    Could I use this effects unit into my acoustic amp?

    • @MUSICIANGeeK
      @MUSICIANGeeK  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Absolutely. Just make sure to turn off the amp & cab blocks since you would be using an actual amp. You don't want to run a amp & cam sim into a actual amp & speaker. Just use it for all the other effects. Thanks for watching/commenting, & if you have not yet already, please subscribe.

    • @MUSICIANGeeK
      @MUSICIANGeeK  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    • @MUSICIANGeeK
      @MUSICIANGeeK  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No 12 string effect, but it does have shimmer reverb, & compression, amp simulation, delays, modulation effects, eq's, Wah. It's a full amp modeler/multi effects processor.

      @@MUSICIANGeeK nice the shimmer reverb is beautiful, i ask mainly because i made an amazing acoustic preset on my friends line 6 hx stomp and one effect was the 12 string. @@MUSICIANGeeK It might be a 3rd party software conflict or something. It's not crashing now after I removed a USB mic.
      But I kind of need that mic. XD

    • @MUSICIANGeeK

      That might be the case. I format my computers every 6-8 months. I find it helps to purge all of the old drivers & software you are no longer using. I also have a dedicated Audio/Video production computer so the software/drivers are a minimum.

      Yes, there are acoustic simulators in the GP-200 also. Technically only 1 in the pre section, & about 6-8 ornso in the cabinet section. I will have a video out on the GP-200 that showcases all of the acoustic & acoustic simulators in it. Thanks for watching/commenting, & if you have not yet already, please subscribe.
