I just ordered mine last night! I was going back and forth between it and the POD Go, and was almost pulling the trigger on the pod until i came across the GP200, lets see how i fare with it. Thanks for pointing out the stock presets, they do sound very good on your tracks!
This thing really does sound good and with minor tweaking of the footswitch buttons you can really maximize what you get out of it as far as combining sounds and getting different layouts. I really like that you can create something similar to the snapshot feature of the PODGo when you modify the foot switch assignments and implement the "control 1/2/3/4" options. Thanks again for the great video!

One feature this has over the Pod Go is XLR output. This should be a prerequisite for any MFX unit intended for stage IMO

Excellent demo! I looked for the patches you listed and kind find them? None the less, I’ve found plenty of great tones. This is the best multi effects processor I have owned. Especially for the price!! Sounds AMAZING! 🎉

Hi, I bought a GP-200 to. I'm trying to get your sound on same presets, but unfortunately the tone is not so good. I'm plug it in into my Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue on Power Amp Section (by passing preamp). Could you tell me what is your power section and speakers? Thanks!
I don't thing he use it through an amp, it's probably through studio monitors direct out
Direct out to audio interface to get best recorded sound, for in room, use an FRFR cab
1) You need to go in the settings to lower the output level of the unit if you pair it with a real amplifier. It is written in the User Manual.
2) You also need to go into the GLOBAL settings and establish an EQ curve that will apply to all patches a) Set low & high pass frequencies filters b) enhance/lower certain frequencies depending on your particular amps/cab. A Mesa Rectifier simulation is obviously incompatible with a Fender Blues Deluxe if you don't put EQ limits. Same for a high gain ENGL-Savage death Metal patch into a Fender...Yikes!
3) You have to remove the cab from GP-200 patche. Otherwise, you're pumping an amp+cabs sim into a physical amp+cab, which unsurprisingly, will sound like a mix dog poop & chainsaw massacre II.
4) Use the 4 cables method to connect the GP-200 to the effects loop of your amplifier. Meaning that you skip your real amplifier's preamp & only use your amp's power section+cab. In other words, the GP-200 becomes the preamp.
If my amplifier doesn’t have an effects loop is that when you would just disable the cab sim and alter the eq? Or should I just get an FRFR speaker ?

Yes, via USB.
You can also playback - looper, drums and daw output with 4 cable method to amp.

Does it have a good IPS-intellegent pitch shifter (Digitech) or Harmonist (Boss)?!
There's a pitch shifting effect, but it's nowhere near at Digitech/Boss quality level. You can however, insert one of those (or any pedal) in the effects loop of the unit if that is critical to your tone/sound.
So can you have a patch like the plexi patch but still have a switch for boost to do a solo?
Yes :)
The only good one is evh amp set to around 4 and chief distion on 5 .no pre amps or compression or Equalizer just reverb delay. And I add a klone boost now it sounds good .it's about the only one any good in the whole unit.

Does anyone know if this device got an effect akin to stereo imaging? i mean its a great deal all around, but it would be sick if i didnt have to pick up somthing like the eventide micropitch as well.
I'm not sure, but AFAIK micropitch effects are beyond what multi effects devices are made to do. But you may be able to get some similar/more basic sounds out the GP-200 or Mooer GE150 etc devices.

Which Harley Benton guitar is that? The one with the maple-flame top, HSH and roasted maple neck? I can only find a version with dot inlays on the board: I cannot find one with block inlays like yours!!!
Hey! It's a Harley Benton Fusion III, but I added Fretlook inlay stickers on it :) You can find videos to the guitar as well on how I attached the inlays on my channel :)

I have a question for u.... why u r using so many guitar ???? Is any specific reason behind because I have only 1 electric guitar. Is I buy this preset so it's mandatory to buy also 4 5 electric guitar???? I don't understand for using difrent guitars for difrent playing mode u r using...
Some people use different guitars for a different feel so it makes em play different. That I totally understand
But most of the time, it's because we are programmed to associate country with a tele......southern rock, rnb, blues with a strat........that is very typical.
I saw Eric Johnson play a Gibson.......and it still sounded like Eric Johnson on a strat.
Ive seen Paul Gilbert and every guitar he used....he still sounded like Paul Gilbert on an Ibanez RG.
I used to do studio work and I only used an Ibanez jem Jr. I recorded country, rnb, blues, rock, metal, jazz and my guitar sounded the part. I wasn't a rock guitarist playing those other genres, I was the genre I needed to be. So I learned it was me that was responsible for the sound that was required of me. My guitar definitely helped due to the many different tones I could get out of it. But it was me, learning each genre as that kind of guitarist, that helped me get the sound that fit the genre. I replaced a lot of guys and sound guys loved me cause I didn't require much.
But hey....what do I know.....I'm a nobody just giving my experience.

Yes the delays and reverbs are great and you have a lot of different types and tweaking options!

I just can compare it to plugins like AmpliTube or BIAS Amp/FX.
The plugins I usually use sound great as well, but I think the GP-200 gets the "real" feeling better.
I'll be frank with you, I love the GP200 but the modulation effects are not that great compared to the pod Go or MG-30.

Are you an owner of MG - 30? I have a few questions about comparing loopers of those two, this is a major factor to decide which one is best for me.

I bought this unit about 4 months ago and I cannot get it to sound anywhere near as good as some youtube demos with an overdrive/distortion type lead sound. Are you going directly into an interface using the USB?
Or taking the Balanced (or unbalanced) line outs and then going either directly into an interface or a mixer first, then the interface? Mine sounds too harsh and not musical. (Note: I am using the amp and cab sims). Thanks and I would really appreciate your advice.

It is not an honest review in my opinion because it's not a live sound, it's all recorded and edited
ho avuto questa pedaliera ed è stata venduta 3 mesi dopo, non pensate assolutamente che possiate tirare fuori questi suoni, che ovviamente sono inseriti in una scheda audio che costa sicuramente 10 volte di più della pedaliera stessa. I suoni sono discreti ma niente di più, altrimenti la Fractal, avrebbe chiuso i battenti, tutto è rapportato al prezzo di vendita, cota 320 euro e vale 320 euro, Fractal Fm3 costa 1300 e vale 1300 euro. Lascaite perdere il web, non fatevi ingannare, se volete suoni migliori dovete spendere di più. Provate e contraddirmi!
