- These ring blanks can be inlayed with almost anything! In this video I used water recovered birch from Georgian Bay.

I must have a go at rings at some point, thanks for the video
Thanks Pete! I have a different video showing how I make Bentwood rings. No blanks needed. They are more work but definitely beautiful too!

Nice repair, Heather. Pretty ring.
Thanks Billy! I'm going to work on dying some soon!
Since both of us have the tools...we can each make our own wedding rings😀😀
Nice work, Heather
Thanks Ward 😊
Very nice. Thought I’d have to go back into mine and refinish it but I haven’t. Maybe I’ll remember to seal the edges soon so I won’t have to redo it down the road. They do look good though.
You definitely have to finish the edges. Just use a tiny bit of ca on a paper towel and repeat at least 3 times! More is better!
That looks awesome Heather
Thanks Ron! Tell Bonnie that I haven't forgotten about the lighthouse!😶🌫️
@@spiritwynd no problem I will
In my opinion, I feel there is no REAL glue for attaching wood to the steel rings. CA is a joke.
I have to agree (somewhat) about the CA . You're really only sticking the wood to itself.
Although, I did try another ring, after this one, by CA gluing shavings to roughed up blank. I didn't like the results and had to use a carbide cutter to remove the glue and shavings
