    Nice video and very helpful. I have a question. I have BMW business radio. Can I change to Professional? And is there any coding or something like that involved? It is BMW e90 2008. Thank you in advance

      Thankyou!
      You can change to professional yes, but some features may not work, for example, Bluetooth may need coding if you've already got the module, if not then it can get very complicated.
      Hope this helps!

      Hi mate, check out ebay for a second hand unit, make sure it's the same type (ie business or professional etc) 👍👍

    I have done a straight swap from an e90 to e92 but lost my rear parking sensor sound? Same unit exactly but not just a straight swap?

      Hi mate, you will probably need to turn the parking sensor volume up in the menus. Press audio (top left) then the music symbol button (bottom right) go to the next menu by pressing the arrow next to reset until you see “PDC” and turn it up. Give that a try and let us know 👍

    My daughter was just gifted 328i E92 it had the Professional Radio, however we can't seem to find the bluetooth setting is there a way to know if its installed and just isn't active?

      If you can’t see it in the Menu settings, chances are it’s not installed. Best to get it plugged in at a BMW specialist to see if the module is there or not.

    Do you need to unplug the battery?

    • @theautomotiveapproach
      @theautomotiveapproach  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, we didn't unplug the battery and didn't run into any problems.
      If you're worried though It'd probably be a safe bet to unhook the battery 👍

    Hi, do I need a code or a password if i do this and it’s resetting itself?

    • @theautomotiveapproach
      @theautomotiveapproach  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, no you shouldn't need a pin code or password, you may have a battery problem if it's resetting each time.
      Hope this helps! 👍

      Doesn't work for me, just pops the fascia a bit. Even if I dig deep.

      @@richf1182 Hi, I had just the same problem. But got it out by digging not too deep, not to short, just the right to get under the edge. Look closely just how he does it !
      After trying and prying for a while... ;)

      @@magnusbragason7101 Hi, yep, I got it the same way - not too deep is the key! I used a carpet tack lifter in the end.
