  • "Is Saudi Arabia right for me..?"
I hear this question a lot from potential expats, and honestly, it depends... On SO many different things... Personal things... To which only you will know the answer...
I've collated to list of reasons why making the move to Saudi may just be the best things you've ever done.
As always, feel free to reach out on Instagram - I'd love to hear what you think - I'm @pete_kami_
    Good luck!

My husband is currently in Riyadh and it's the best decision he's ever made, he loves it there and you are right, the money is too good to pass up on. I and the kids are joining him next year, it'll be a different experience for us and again, I'm more than happy to raise my kids in a more decent country. The prospect for growth as well is amazing, it's something we could never get easily living here in the UK.

I moved here a month ago. My wife and daughter are coming in 2 weeks. The reason was, I felt like we weren't getting ahead in Australia. It was a rat race. We wanted to travel as well so we needed to make a drastic change, otherwise the years were just going to keep passing and nothing would ever change.

@@petedoessaudi So far, so good. It takes a while to navigate all the paperwork and apps, etc to get the iqama and open a bank account, etc, but I think it gets easier. Once I buy a car and can start driving around with my family here I feel like I'm going to enjoy it a lot more. The Saudis I have found to be very friendly and welcoming. Keep up the great work with the channel too. We watched a lot of your videos while we were preparing our move here!

@@IamNotAgainstYou I wouldn’t say it’s ‘settled’ because it’s a residency visa that renews every year, assuming you still work with the employer. The residency is called an IQAMA

Not to mention, the money they are paying you is based on the passport that you hold, not your skills. Hy there, I’m a high intensity personal trainer completing a degree in sport and exercise science, do you think I could make good money in Saudi Arabia?

There are too many variables in this question… What would you define as ‘good money’ for starters 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have a cross tattooed on my throat should I move to Saudi Arabia?

I’ve seen many crosses on people - I wouldn’t worry, but would may be impacted by the job you’re going for I may imagine. Worth checking with any potential employer to be sure it wouldn’t be an issue with them.
