Thank you for the time with my gruul deck review. I know its not super competitive just hoping for something a little fresh and really liked the recommendations! I think in Bo1 i definitely get afraid that if i dont include certain cards i will run into certain decks like synthesizer alot more and i cant stand that deck haha
its crazy you bring up mana bases... so i learned to pay from mick foley (cactus jack dude love mankind from wrestling) so his son and i played pokemon at toyrus back in the 90s and one day we went to smithhaven mall to play pokemon and when i got there he was with his son whom at that moment i had no idea was the son of man kind...well they were playing magic and i was curious bc i never saw the game b4 and i loved pokemon...so i went into the game shop and sold some pokemon cards and bought a few packs of apocalypse and invasion and 3 of my 4 rares were lands....i was sad...until mick told me about how lucky i was bc lands were the most important portion of our decks.... ty for your time homie mad love
you couldn't tell the 9 year old me that mad as hell that my buddy opened haunted wumpus while i was opening yavimaya coast and shivan reef 😂😂 psychatog was probably my favorite deck when I was younger it holds a special place in my mind sitting around with higher level players at star city games in NY and monkey head games on long island trying to solve the format back then and tog was the deck to beat i had so many players teaching me things that as a kid I barely understood but as i got older it paid off but had to take a break after kamigawa and mirrodin but when i came back magic was an entirely different world
somewhere out there are 4 copies each of meddling mage signed by john finkle and shadowmage infiltrator signed by chris pikula.... meddling mage was pikulas worlds champ card and shadowmage infiltrator was finkles worlds card and the two of them were local rivals so i had them sign each others cards but i sold them with my collection back in 2015
Hello! I thank you for you videos and for sharing your wisdom with enthusiasm🙏🏽 I am wondering if you could do a full video, on how to calculate mana in an multicolored deck. Greetings from Germany ✌🏽
I have thought about it, and might still do it, but it would pretty much be presenting this article because Frank Karsten did such an amazing job www.channelfireball.com/article/How-Many-Sources-Do-You-Need-to-Consistently-Cast-Your-Spells-A-2022-Update/dc23a7d2-0a16-4c0b-ad36-586fcca03ad8/
Missed the cut again. That “random” roll idea hates me. Just a thought , figure in loyal viewers and members in your picking process. Luckily I don’t get butt hurt but some may. Just a suggestion. Thanks for the insight on the other decks.
I had originally planned for the deck techs to be only for TH-cam Members and I have mentioned that TH-cam Members get priority. Most haven't taken me up on that option though
i like the jeskai black deck but i couldnt make the manabase work i plan to revisit when we get the rest of the verge lands and to lean more towards kaito and ertai than things like lilly dreadhorde back during tarkir jeskai black was one of my favorite decks to play
Yeah I think we're all waiting for them to open up the lands a bit after the SNC triome rotation. The verge lands were interesting design. I quite like them

hey I take everything you say to heart when i watch and im still playing jeskai ive made some upgrades forge had to go bcnof the authority of the consuls and swapped them to ojutai and zurgo and yes the rednlands were wonky i also made adjustments like you were saying...heres the updated list in the comment below
oh and ill timed explosion isnt quite dead against control since it can just be draw 2 sure it costs 4 but in that match up by the time your casting explosion youve got the mana to spend 4 on it. lemme hop on the laptop to send that list bc the upgrade runs so much better
@@Arstall no worries i didnt feel targeted lol i was just letting you know that i love these vids i be bragging to my wife that you post my decks all the time lol at least she thinks im famous hahahahaha
