    To be honest I fully understand you comment about not messing with head studs and their torque setting but don’t beat yourself up too much. There are really bad head gaskets around now and they do tend to blow between numbers 3 to 4. Yours shows this - old stock or new performance head gaskets are the answer - fixed my stock 1098 fine, even though I have messed with the torques since!

      Thanks Colin. I was remiss in not photographing the old gasket vs the new one, which was unlabeled but looked like a very high quality part. Thanks for watching!

      @@GrandadFixit I get mine from ESM I think they are very good but the gasket is so much thinner than the old stock ones I had - there is not enough meat in the sandwich I recon a mini race engine gasket may well work better for you if problems persist - also there is the classic rear end of the A series engine over heat issue blanking off some of the water galleries that the front of the engine forces the coolant to go around the long way and mixes out the hot spot at 3 to 4 and it works well.
