So after Halloween 4 set up Jamie as the new killer... then.. Halloween 5 set up Jamie as the psychic girl, Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers set up Jamie as a mildly important but mostly disposable character so we can get to the REAL important details! Which still aren't quite hammered out, don't make sense, and differ depending on which version of the movie you watch. What fun!

RIP Donald Pleasance
We will miss you being thrown everywhere by Myers
4:00 gotta love the dancing Micheal Myers.
And who is wearing that Michael Myers costume anyways?!?😂😂😂 Since its obviously not 'Creepy' who is it then?
Do the michael!
So funny
Is no one going to talk about the markiplire nude calendar he has?
He has some moves, he can...cut a rug...he's killer at the moves
Love that Micheal throws the producer cut at decker
He falls downstairs
But nobody cares
He survived that fall to the ground
The bombs, the fires, they shot him six times
Everyone knows it's Michael
PoolStroke
Should have had a cut to Loomis screaming "I shot him six times" for that part would have been funny.
It was all funny anyway
PoolStroke should have said every one knows it’s Myers because that would rhyme with fires
It's Michael It's Michael
Wanted dead for his crimes
It's Michael it's Michael
Loomis shot him SIX TIMES!
I love you.
Does anyone know why it's set to the slinky song? Don't get me wrong I like it. But who knew it was that versatile of a limerick?
"Don't run with scissors" ~Everyone's parents
"I'm gonna do a funky dance with a butcher knife!" ~Decker Shado
Who thinks Decker should review The Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise? Or the SCREAM franchise? I'm super excited seeing you review the Halloween franchise man.!! 👍👍🎃🔪
Jonathan Haydon I’ve been waiting to hear his thoughts on the Scream franchise for a while myself
Jonathan Haydon decker could review anything and it would be entertaining
I'd like to see him review all the _Psycho_ films, from the original Alfred Hitchcock classic and the shitty 1998 remake to the sequels and the 1987 TV pilot film _Bates Motel_ (no relation to the A&E show), especially the sequels. Those films don't ever get enough attention.
How about the Child’s Play franchise? Would love to see him do that.
I think he should review the Saw franchise too
Paul Rudd's expression throughout the entire movie is that of a person who has just silently farted, and is waiting for someone to smell it.
This is why I'm glad Paul Rudd decided to stick with comedy films
He's also the creepiest thing in the movie. Seriously, he looks like a creeper throughout the entire movie.
He's a TERRIBLE actor
That`s his only expression..
Maybe he was thinking about the script and trying to make sense of it.
Litte Girl: "Mommy, it's raining red."
Me: "Get out the Slayer song!"
Gotta love how Decker credits every actor by name.
He's got a lot of love and respect for actors
Almost like they’re people or something lol
It is remarkably respectful for someone who also supported Trump. A strange contradiction there, I feel.
@@ryans756
Trump was one of the best presidents America ever had.
Why would he not support him?
@@ryans756 oh I get it you're just a massive douchebag

Michael: "...don't tell Jason."
What is your profile picture, friend? It looks quite cool.

@@wstine79 You absolute craftsman/woman, you.
Decker. Please NEVER stop doing reviews. Been here for years. I love your channel, and can’t wait for the next review!
Died at the ending. I choose to believe this is Creepy's doing somehow.
Fun fact about why Donald Pleasence scenes were cut it is because Joe Chappelle found Dr. Loomis boring.
I heard that. I'm surprised reading that that Joe Chappelle is still working in Hollywood frankly with his dramatic sensitivities. But then there's a lot of people working in Hollywood today who haven't a clue what they're doing so I'm not too surprised I suppose.
The producers cut was more boring to me.
Soooo much F… Him. 🤨
DonaldPleasence has a mutant ability. If a director gave him shit they never worked in his town again. Case in point. Look up John Sturgis from The Great Escape.
43 goddamn minute long review? *runs to the kitchen for supplies* MY BODY IS READY, DO IT!
Could you please rise out of tub full of water for H20 intro?
That would be funny!!!😂😂😂 And good idea.
@EpicJason X9000 with some toast
I love that he actually did it for the h20 video.
The scenes with Decker dancing or in the shower make me laugh every single time.
That surprise Beavis and Butthead joke caught me off guard. Lol GG Decker
Please give us more Michael Myers dancing, or just a whole video of it lmao
1:45:25 Of that I'm down
When I found out that you were doing the Summer of Halloween, this is the one I was most anticipating.
My personal favorite of the Halloween franchise (sentimental reasons).
I know now that it's not the "best" Halloween film, but it has a good-but-bad charm to it. It was the first one I'd seen.
It seems you've been having a hard time pronouncing the Summer of Arnold Schwarzenegger with these past few videos.
AlexTheMenace IT NEVER ENDS.
Thanks to you I can never hear the Halloween them without wanting to get up and dance with a knife
You are not the only one
“in case of review, open case” may just be the best thing i’ve heard all month.
Paul Rudd left one and a half months into his first semester at KU to act in this movie.
Added to my watch list. Will watch after a business trip. You are one of my fav channels.
Michael Trying to impress the Cynobites.. SOOO GOOD!!!
Great Work As ALWAYS Decker
I actually remember my Mom taking me see thisin theaters, backk in the day as a kid.
Still love this movie!
The opening to this film needs a seizure warning because goddamn was that trippy to watch
Hell yeah!! Just like the BADASS hospital scene 😀
Wait ant man is in this?
"I think our first move is to call in the avengers."
Just doesn’t feel like Summer (no matter the year) without a Decker Shado review on my phone while I do the most mundane things every day. 🤓 these never get old 👏🏼🖤
Decker: "It's been passed around who knows how long, how am I supposed to-"
Mike: °YEET°
Awesome review Decker! I gotta say that I preferred when Michael had no explanation as to why he killed people. It made his character a lot scarier than just a murderous Captain America. But hey, that's why I'm hyped for the new movie this year :D
The Producer's Cut is fascinating. I wouldn't necessarily say it was "better" than the theatrical cut, as both versions are very troubled films, and the Producer's Cut trades the issues with the TC for different flaws of its own. But I definitely feel it's a more complete and cohesive work, and it's become my preferred version when I do marathons of the series every October.
I'd almost like to see a fan-edit that folded together "Revenge of Michael Myers" and the Producer's Cut of "Curse of Michael Myers" into a single non-chronological film. They were among the weakest of the series in my opinion, but I think trimming the fat so-to-speak by removing the filler, and restructuring them into one single long film might be interesting and make the whole Thorn curse storyline more palatable. It'd be easy enough-essentially turn key scenes from "Revenge" into a series of flashbacks that would be sprinkled throughout as Tommy slowly puts the "puzzle" together, while also removing some of the more obnoxious elements from "Curse."
Oh yeahhh! I was dying to watch you review this one. And you did not disappoint. Well done! Also bonus points for reviewing both the Theatrical and the Producer’s Cut! 👏👏👏👏👏👍👍

I like to think that H20 was a sequel and the issue was Laurie was still alive.
Michael escaped in the man in black outfit and went off on a hunt, eventually finding Marion's home in another town
Absolutely loving these Halloween reviews, you are hilarious Decker.
Awesome just got off work smoked a bowl to myself had 5 beers looked at my cell phone Decker shado uploads this is the greatest day of my life
Beer is nice
30:42 - I think it was the imbecile of the director (or one of the producers) that "didn´t like Pleasance" = just one of the many tragedies of a movie made for people too incompetent to protect their own intelectual property.
YOu're a riot. The most horrible thing about this review is how much you'll have your audience dying of laughter.
This is far by the best Halloween Curse of Michael Myers review I’ve EVER seen Decker this video is a master piece oh and another thing 23:54 I TOLD YOU H’ED SAY THAT
The producers cut at least is a movie, the editing in theatrical was ass. And At least you know what happened to Loomis the producers cut.
I really hope by the end of this someone makes a video of just Decker Myers dancing to the song haha. Also another great review Decker thank you for the long one glad you went over both not many people do that!
New favorite tradition: Decker uploads a Halloween review, I watch while eating too many pistachio Oreos.
I love your reviews man you’re like that friend I can sit up and talk about movies with
I'm still waiting for "Shrek 7: The Curse of Mike Myers"
The highlights of these episodes, is truly when you make Micheal dance in front of the Tasteful Nudes Markiplier calendar. Micheal may have problems, but he has good taste! Love the episode Decker
Great review! But seriously I find it hilarious how the reviewers I've seen never mention that little bit of comedy during the Wynn hostage scene where he tells them that they should join the cult because they "have talent" with Rudd going "Shut up" Idk why, but I found that charmingly funny. XD
With the man in black's messed up voice I half expected him to be revealed as "The shockmaster"!! Also, "It's raining, it's raining red". Loved the review btw. Cheers Mr. Shadow.
Hated this movie, but I cannot find a lacking in your assessment, so... Yeah, good review and nice hair, but most of all: congrats for trying to find some redeeming qualities within this horrid sequel!
Ps: Keep up the good work and try to stay sane(ish), as long as humanly possible... If possible?
Amani Bob honestly, i love 6. I hate the producer cut, and i hate the ending of both versions.
I just think the first 2 acts are fantastic, and i find myself always wanting to revisit it. 5 is my favorite of the trilogy though, oddly. I think it comes down to the attitude and expectations going in.
I expected garbage, but loved the Thorn trilogy more than the other installments.
I once dubbed from
VHS tape to VHS tape
a version with both the
THEATRICAL
and the
PRODUCERS CUT
into 1 movie
it actually made more
sense than they do
as separate movies
43 minutes of pure Decker bliss on a Thursday morning. I'll take it.
Michael Myers dancing to the theme music gets me laughing every time!! 😂😂
Actually, Loomis getting the mark apparently meant that now he, the man who has always been hunting Myers, was now supposed to be his protector. (I think. I’m pretty sure I read that on the internet once, might want to look it up to be sure or something)
Fun Fact: You can also call this the Pink Panther Trilogy due to the names of the titles.
Yeah, after "Halloween Kills," in 2020, and "Halloween Ends," in 2021, I'm ALREADY looking forwards to "Halloween 14: On the Trail of Michael Myers."
♡
"They still found the time to circumcise him!" Lmfao. That's so true. I'm really starting to like this Decker guy
This man's reviews are a treasure to listen to.
I was expecting this video for the weekend, also thank you, thank you for the Halloween 6 dance mix
Awesome job Decker! Loved the comparisons of the two films in the same episode! Thanks for going the distance!!
I cant help but laugh at Tommy's reaction to the guy falling out of the tree
18:57 "ARE YOU IN THERE BOOGIEMAN!"
Dude omg I fucking cried laughing🤣😂🤣😂 I'm always going back and watching old videos and get a good laugh😂
2 reviews for the price of 1
20:00 I want this to be a song you can buy.
I Love this so much.
You can download clips with some third-party sites, clip it and consider visiting Decker's Patreon. Its a parody of the jingle for the slinky toy.
Finally a film where we can see Ant-Man beats up Michael
Joking aside, the film itself was alright. Not good but not bad.
Just get better and better with each other Decker. Keep up the awesome work!
This movie may be God awful but I gotta admit seeing Donald Pleasance acting in this. You can see it in his eyes, this franchise was his whole world. Rest in peace Mr. Pleasance 💓
I think the cult of Thorn could have been a really good addition to the series if they hadn't have made the twist that Michael was part of it and that his tattoo meant he had a curse on him. I think it would have been sufficient if Dr. Wynn was a leader of some crazy Celtic cult that found out that Michael wrote Samhain on the board in Halloween II, so from that and the fact that Michael is simply and purely evil, treated him as their savior and ended up stopping at nothing to save him from getting locked up, which is how he broke out of jail, as the cult members helped him. The main changes I have is that Michael doesn't have the Curse of Thorn and that he has no relation to them other than them being obsessed with him. Their only role in there series then, is to just be a sort of deus ex machine that spared Michael from going back to Smith's Grove. But then, in turn, he just kills all of them, as he is the embodiment of evil and that is just what he does, having their inclusion in Halloween 6 be just to up the body count. That to me, makes a lot more sense that what we got 😂😂
I like this a lot.
You literally described the theatrical version, lol. Michael didn't become evil because the cult put a curse on him, he was ALREADY like that when the cult wanted to use him for their own purposes. There is not even mystical witchcraft in the theatrical version, it was just a theory of Tommy and the cult adherents, which was never even confirmed.
P.S. In Halloween II, it never even says that it was Michael who wrote that word on the blackboard.
So in your canon is Michael still supernatural?
Personally I liked the thorn cult and liked the idea of Michael being a pawn
If they’re going to create unnecessary sequels to Halloween 78 they gotta expand on the lore. Subtlety and a lack of motive or identity only really works for Halloween 78 as a standalone
"Like on Danny's little crayon drawings, or the movie's storyboards, whatever they are." 🙊🔥🔥🔥 😂
GAWD...
They REALLY ought to have made Halloween into an anthology series like Carpenter intended!
😭
I would have settled for them turning Jamie into the killer. For some reason I really like that idea.
@@markcarpenter6020fr it would’ve been certainly interesting that’s for sure.
@@estelasayeed5608 and would have broken the standard slasher trope of the near immortal slasher.
One of my favorites!!!! Great video. Even though I haven't started watching it yet haha
I didn't even notice this was 45 minutes long.
You do a great job at this.
Actually, that Loomis yell at the end was pretty good.
32:22 After the line "please don't hurt me Michael" I got that add for discover card that starts with Doctor Evil saying "How 'bout No?"... I actually wasn't mad to have that add it was almost perfect comedic timing....
I'm not sure how the plot works with the Thorn Cult, I get they select someone who is to sacrifice their offspring and that in turn protects the rest of the members. But wouldn't they have tried someone else since there are still family members of Myers living after all the Halloweens, and even then wouldn't that mean the practitioners would stop breeding eventually?...
Fine to see they finally have released the Producer's Cut in good quality. I've had the bootleg version for many years and even another version called the Directors cut wich have even more different scenes. I don't know why but I was always facinated by Halloween 6 and still am. It looks fantastic and has gruesome kills and biggest of all it's Donald's last film. I really like the movie despite of it's flaws because there are BIG flaws there.
Deckers reviews are exactly like the Halloween movies, you watch in fear waiting for Creepy to appear.
"Voices in his head" yeah they must've read the novel version of the first film.
This whole "cult" idea could've worked, but I just suggest to see the AVGN's video.
My favorite suggestion of theirs?
After Loomis says "I've some unfinished business," body double of him (from the back) walking into the burning hospital, followed by a black screen, followed by white text reading "Dedicated to the memory of Donald Pleasence."
:)
Dude I've seen this movie 100 times. Never noticed the Room 237 reference. Good catch!
Two people play michael in this george p Wilbur in the original shots and a michael lerner in the reshoots
That "thorn" rune is an Elder Futhark rune. It's one of the letters that vikings used, it's called Thurisaz. These runes are used in magic, though I've only done researched the Divination aspect of it. A Thurisaz basically means "There's work coming."
So, it being a mark of a killer wouldn't be that much of a stretch.
I think the only true curse of this movie series is how it decided not to stop at the first one.
43 minute Decker video? LOVE IT
Yes! Thankfully this got out, I've been watching the Halloween films for the first time and watching these reviews straight after
The Dancing kills me everytime. I thought it would get old after a while, but boy was i wrong?
If I had one media clip to last me for eternity...serious consideration for Decker Shado Michael Myers dancing would be given!
LOL. Man, you have grown so fast, to being my favorite youtube reviewer. Top 10 favorite channel on here. Keep em coming!
Your commentaries are the funniest I’ve seen and I truly enjoy them because I’m laughing the whole time 😂
One of the greatest horror movie battles of all time where Ant-Man comes face to face with Michael Myers and Ant-Man completely DOMINATED him as I said in my previous comment in deckers previous video that’s one of the reasons why I love this movie
Thanks again for the content, great video.
Welcome back Decker , we missed you
Lol as soon as he said they injected him with the serum that made him super strong I also thought of resident evil and then he said it.
Wish Michael would stalk the hallways muttering "loomis" like how Nemesis says stars.
Great review Decker, the exxageration in your voice is amazing lol 👍👍
It really bugs me when John strode says “keep slipping her the cash” we don’t see no cash so it kinda comes out of nowhere
Someone send Decker a copy of the Producer's Cut.
or the blue myers cut
I didn't see the producers cut till about a year ago and actually really liked it.

Love how she jumps out the upper-story window to save herself but ends up being taken back to the sanitarium as hostage anyway hahahahaha!
I love your reviews 😍 Please continue to do more! 😁
I wasn't notified of this video. My Bell's still rung.
I'm so happy you did both cuts
39:12 thats the same Loomis screaming from the very end of the Theatrical version's end type scene with the Myers mask and needles.
How to cure depression? Binge watch Decker Shado
An interesting tidbit about the 4th, 5th, and 6th Halloween movies is they were all filmed in Utah. The scene where the Man in Black gets off a bus in one of the films was shot in front of the Vincent Drug Store in Midvale, which has been a filming location for a lot of films because of it's "small town main street in the 40s, 50s, and 60s" atmosphere. A scene in the Sandlot was filmed there. In the 4th film, the front of the psychiatric facility that Michael escapes from was represented by the old Primary Children's Hospital, now an upper-class apartment complex I believe, located in the Avenues area of Downtown Salt Lake just East of the State Capital Building. The scene where Tommy and Dr. Loomis are outside the "old section" of the hospital by a door set into a stone wall was filmed by the Old Mill at the mouth of Cottonwood Canyon. When I was a little kid in the 80s they used to run a haunted attraction there called the Haunted Old Mill. My mother took me there for my first ever haunted attraction when I was about 5-7 years old, and I've loved those kinds of spook alleys ever since. In fact I'm taking my oldest son to another local haunt this Friday. They stopped running the Haunted Old Mill when I was still pretty young due to the structure no longer being safe, I think due to fire damage, but of course kids still break into the place all the time looking for adventure and thrills.
Love these reviews, naturally funny commentary. 👍
