I wanted to share that as a college history professor I can say that students who were homeschooled make the best college students. I made a video the other day explaining why that is. Homeschool parents are doing an amazing job.

It is great of you to acknowledge that! Especially since you don’t share the Christian faith. Love your open-mindedness!

My son absolutely loved the Generations science you mentioned! We were so bummed to find they didn't have a 7th grade science yet :)

We have used veritas press self paced courses for history and have loved it!! It is expensive but they regularly have a $100 or $150 off sale. It's a course you do on the computer. We've learned so much! It might be an option for history 😊. They also have a catalog that you can shop from to purchase a ton of readers in the same historical time frame.

I would love a review on Generations science. I actually purchased Generations history and will be starting in mid July. I haven't fully researched the Science yet, as I love our Elementary Science. Would love a flip through and review on that is possible or when you do year end reviews I'd love to hear your full thoughts on it.

My 2nd oldest just finished her TGTB LA level 7 (and math) last month, and she said she really enjoyed this year's level 7 LA! Hopefully your daughter enjoys it as well :)

My 7th grader used NC Missionary Studies when we decided to homeschool him. It was his first year homeschool schooling and he loved it so much. I hope you all enjoy the stories as much as us.

Is there a calculator that your kids have used and worked well for what they needed?
Also, I saw Instincts by Masterbooks on your Amazon list. Did you use that as just a read aloud or science curriculum?
We were looking at that for science fur younger kids.

We are using that health book this summer for my girls going into 6th and 8th!! We are all really enjoying it so far and it has brought up good conversations.

I am very curious what your opinion w the health curriculum will be. W my older boys we used ACE for high school health but I thk my 14 year old needs something before we hit the high school stuff.

Try Guest Hollow for history! I recommend prereading the books but its very well put together.

Hello, I know you’ve mentioned TGATB language arts IS enough on its own but do you feel like the writing portion throughout the levels is clear and enough for parents who struggle with writing themselves? Is there enough repetition throughout to prepare for college English 101. Thank you.

Can you make a video talking about how things have changed since you have all these highschool grades. You mention this briefly in your video so I’m curious now. I have a 21, 16, 12, 10 and 5 and things are different so I’d like to hear what others have to say about it.

My oldest will be in 5th grade and I was looking at the Living Healthy from MB and my son tells me he wants to do the human body from the good and the beautiful and Living Healthy next year. So I am happy you bought it so I can see how it goes.

Thank you so much for always doing these videos! Seeing what you picked always gets me excited for the fall!☺️😁 May I ask why you chose to do TGTB math 7 instead of Shoremann math? I know you mentioned a few months ago that you weren’t sure since TGTB Math 7 isn’t pre-algebra.

    • @GraceandGrit
      @GraceandGrit  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Because TGTB has been working so well and wasn’t an option for my older kids. So I’d like one more year of not changing much esp as I navigate two in college classes and my oldest senior year.

🌟We loved MasterBooks Living Healthy for an elective a few years ago w/ my oldest. I’m planning for my youngest to use it for middle school as well.
🌟We also ❤️ Generations God Made Science series ☺️ My friend’s daughter just finished the Life course recently & highly recommends it too. My youngest just finished God Made Everything.
I wish I had found Generations sooner, so my oldest could’ve used it for Science. My oldest is using their Great Christian Stories for Children literature set this fall.
📍I’m definitely going to add their character books from your other videos to my cart. I have only grabbed their Virtuous: A Study of Ladies of Every Age so far.
💗Thank you so much for all your videos! God is definitely blessing us through your sharing of wisdom 🤗
