Look forward to see the HA45 off road truck that Chris has rented working on his pond build. Hyundai's seam to be in vogue with you two at present. Safe travels. Ken.
From power plant to rear diff, the technology in the HA30’s has taken the off road dump to another level. Great Video Mike. Another hat Mike can easily wear is the hat of an “Interviewer”. Mike is a natural by being knowledgeable to ask the right questions. This makes learning about the new equipment and applications interesting. Thanks Mike.
Hey Mike i do believe that the HA30 would look good in your yard it looks classy as hell and MBTS would be seriously ticked the heated seat 2 cup holders and the view from the cab would be awesome 👍😎🇺🇸NY
Really nice but Bubba dump is still one of my favorites especially now with new pipes she really sounds and looks good next go for a paint job shes due one.
Having driven Scania trucks over here in the UK, I can tell you that their engines are probably the most reliable ones out there. I don't think there is any doubt that Mike will soon be driving a Hyundai truck, after all they do love him. 👍🤗 Nice seeing Jon aswell, hes another good guy, hopefully Hyundai Corporate will let him try out that smaller digger, just to make up for his last outing with the Hyundai dealership. 💪
Dc9 is a fantastic engine the dc13 not so much maybe without DPF/DEF which is probably why hyundai have opted for that setup been five cylinder too was a odd move and the 9 ltr is the only 5 cylinder rest are 6 and 8 cylinder
@@marknewell7355 in heavy trucks its odd, but Mercedes, Volvo, Fiat, Renault, Ford, Chevy used 5 cylinders in passenger and light commercial vehicles. Deutz, Fiat and Same used 5 pots in tractors, and the Deutz F5L912 was also used in the Caterpillar wheeled excavators after they bought the Eder line. When we talk about low speed ship and power generation diesels, every odd combination of cylinders (5, 7, 9) was acceptable to meet a certain output efficiently which a 4, 6, 8 or 10 didnt.
@Sjanzo by saying odd I was referring to scania using a 5 cylinder not 5 cylinder engines in general im a heavy diesel mechanic and heavy recovery specialist
Need and want are indeed two distinctly separate terms! It appears as if business is growing and you might need a write off as well which will ultimately help you and your community! It's hard to accurately project future growth however, having the ability to tackle more work is always a plus and positive affirmation you're doing something right. As always continue to be abundantly blessed knowing you can do these things for your family and the clients of the community
The Cat 777's I Have drove had heated beds, dirt will most definitely stick in an unheated bed, I have had em stand on both back tires until the load broke free. It isn't fun lol
The only skid steer I spent real time in was a Melroe 600 Bobcat. No cab, no cage. Compared to these new ones it was shockingly basic. But it did the job!
After watching you for a few years now I really wanted to check out the Hyundai equipment at ConExpo, but when I went into the booth all I found was a bunch of locked doors and no sign of a rep. Unfortunately my feet and back checked out on me after 2 full days of wandering the show so I never got back to try again. I'm with you Mike, keep it simple! Thanks for the many great equipment reviews and great content in gereral, I always look forward to your next video.
Thanks for the tour! Hyundai seems to always provide the more innovative side of construction equipment. I'm delighted to see both the articulated hauler and the Hydrogen-powered backhoe. It will be most interesting to see what may become available to you. There will be many watching! Be well be safe!
All the maintenance assist “STUFF” to help keep things greased, lubed, easy access type features for oils, and batteries is great “STUFF”, my question is, if people are to stinking lazy to maintenance a machine to start with, what’s going to happen when the self maintenance feature runs out materials? I’m thinking it won’t be replenished anytime soon. Now that’s my cynical side, for the people who go out and purchase dedicated service trailers 😊 this will do nothing but help out and be a great feature. Thanks for the tour sir.
Like every machine ,they are beautiful when New ,proof is in the pudding when they have thousands of hours on them and in most the old girls have done the job just as good as a new one ,
Well, you probably don't need one just yet, but no harm in acquiring one to try out 😉 Scania engines, trucks and transmissions are all robust, very common in UK and Europe. They have put a lot of thought into the set up and build of the truck as usual. 🤓👍💪
The hydrogen equipment is really interesting. It seems to be a better option than straight electric. Although I can understand the need for electric. Although I just want to clarify I know nothing about any of this.
For small utility operators like me where the machine would be back in the yard every night, electric machines (especially a wheeled one) would be great.
Glad a skidsteer builder finally figured out those arms are a big visibility issue along with lines being in the track area, one good rock roll in there and its a mess
Only seems a matter of time before our machinery overtakes our ability to use them to their fullest potential. A robot MBTS could be next - metal man says "Eyes!"..
A gentle reminder: Currently basically all hydrogen used is produced by an extremely CO2 heavy process, steam reforming. Per unit of work, a machine powered by hydrogen is responsible for more CO2 emissions than one that would use hydrocarbon fuels directly. If we ever manage to get water electrolysis (or pyrolysis, I suppose) cheap and efficient, this will change -- but it doesn't look like it's going to happen soon.
Hyundai has some cool equipment for sure. And from what you showed here, they have lots of room. The Case has my attention though. Especially the steel track version. But one of these ctl tractors might do well for those jobs not requiring that monster. And no government juice. Now I need to go check out the specs. Where did I put my checkbook? Thank you and be safe.
Well Mike,, when you want to step back and take it a bit easier I say you would make one hell of a Hyundai salesman! They have some awesome stuff. I ran a big Hyundai back in the day with a hammer that we rented after we hit rock in a basement and that thing had a ton of power .if I close my eyes I can't still hear that dam hammer😅 great video mike
That company that rhymes with Sunday has some pretty sweet looking stuff. Kinda wondering which piece of machinery will show up on the Dirt Perfect TH-cam channel.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Someday I like the opportunity to check out all the great machines at one of these expos. My best friend just bought a house in Davenport Fl and if I’m not mistaken she’s only a few miles from the Richie Brothers auction site. Is that the same one you guys visit yearly? Wishing you and your family the best.
What amazes me, is no one has put thought into improving a two way communications. Not so bad with a truck but an excavator where you use both hands. I’m sure it would not be that hard to have a button to press on joy stick to talk. This way you don’t stop operating.
Thats what Cummins did to us, they wouldn't let our mechanics do anything with the engine computer, swell, the truck sat next to the shop with out of service sticker on it for weeks while we waited for Cummins to send a technician out, just great, nothing like having a over hundred thousand dollar truck sit there not making money...............But I think Matt and Aron could be forced into liking that haul truck.😁
Hey DP, great video as usual! I was wondering is there any place close to you where a person could rent a Hyundai 85 excavator? I'd like to try one out.
Hey Mike Bubba Dump has way more character than the Hyundai dump truck ,yes it's a nice unit but I can't imagine you and Aaron pulling it apart to fix ,like you can with Bubba ,the Hydrogen powered excavator was clever technology LONG LIVE Bubba Dump Kym Adelaide

its just a Doosan truck
Its a Norwegian Moxy turned Doosan, now also Hyundai. Theres decades of experience behind it, walking beam since 1972

WOW! Cool machines DP. Thanks for taking us along. 👍
Get the truck....you have the case skid/bulldozer which can't be beat.....Hyundai is really changing things up.....great vid

America knows Scania engines from the Case 4894 and 4994 4WD tractors in the mid 80s

100% thought do was gonna say the most important feature in the cab was the 2 cupholders
Great video thanks Mike and John
Thanks Mike for taking us along to the show and yes would love to see that new truck working with Baba Dump.
The Cat 777's I Have drove had heated beds, dirt will most definitely stick in an unheated bed, I have had em stand on both back tires until the load broke free. It isn't fun lol
you've no sense of adventure...! people would pay for that kind of 'A' ride....LOL
Great coverage of the booth. It was cool to see John giving things a good check out too.👍

The and sorry they where every where every time I was in the booth
Wowww! There are some Nice machines hitting the market!
Would like to see you demo the haul truck and the tracked loader.
Wow what a nice piece of equipment Mike .would look real nice next to your 220. I’m just saying 👍
Great video Mike 🇺🇸
Skid steer is nice!

I would like to see that haul truck in action on some muddy terrain.
Great salesman/politician there. @9:00 he didn't answer your question, but answered the question that he wanted you to ask.
Keep Bubba see if they will let you demo one. See if it can keep up with bubba. Maybe Aron won’t beep a step stool to get in.
Nice looking Units, can’t wait to see You in One.
It wouldn't sound as good as bubba dump😂
Won't last as long either
The volvo sounds better been 6 cylinder the 5 cylinder scania lacks the bark
Mike is going to own that haul truck. It has not one but TWO Pepsi holders!!!!😂
That HA30 has got to be jobsite tested AND videoed!
Lol agree
@@DirtPerfect Scania trucks and engines have a large following in Europe, I wonder how and when these will be accepted here in North America! H'mmm.
@@regsparkes6507 Case 4894 used a DS11 and 4994 used a DS14 in the mid 80s.
The haul truck needs a custom set of Dp exhaust to finish it off.😂

Sounded to me like you got the go ahead on the haul truck demo. Hopefully it shows up on the channel soon 😁👍
That drive setup has been on graders and logging machines for a long time, kind of surprised no one put it on a haul truck sooner.
I would love to see an off road RV mounted on that cab and frame.
Like every machine ,they are beautiful when New ,proof is in the pudding when they have thousands of hours on them and in most the old girls have done the job just as good as a new one ,
Hyundai sure has made a big change on machines now adays. real nice stuff thanks for the tour. cheers.
thanks for the walkthrough top machines
I would stick with bubber just for the sound as well !!👍

In the EU, these Scania engines are praised for their reliability. I myself drove a v8 580 hp and drove more than 1.3 million Km
Big Boy Toys, Love it.
I’d love to see you guys get a demo for that tracked skid steer!
The hydrogen equipment is really interesting. It seems to be a better option than straight electric. Although I can understand the need for electric. Although I just want to clarify I know nothing about any of this.
That place looks deadly to the check book
Did Hyundai remember to build steps for height challenged people? Not naming names. Does it have a strong front bumper for taking down fences?
Lol
Thanks for the tour

Ok need the skid steer too
I'm a layman but found the vid very interesting, thanks.

DP, you know so much that you asked the questions that helped that guy do a better presentation on that beautiful dump truck! Nice work.
Thanks
