The easiest way to apply stickers is to hinge them. Tap them in place only on the top edge then flip the sticker up and peel off the backing. Then flip it back down and it will lay exactly where you had it hanging there by the tape on the top. Nice and straight. Also use water in a spray bottle with a few drops of soap in it.
I am 73 years old and watch a lot of TH-cam All sorts of different channels So I'm constantly running into Ones that I've seen before from all genre. So I flipped channels a lot Cause I've already seen it I go rerun rerun reru. However I run across yours and always stop I know that I've seen it But there's something about and it's only your channel is I watched them over again for a second time sometimes a third time , Isn't that the craziest thing you've ever heard of Of somebody watching reruns and that somebody is me Crazy
Try spraying soapy water on the truck before applying vinyl graphics. It keeps them from sticking before you squeegee them down, avoiding wrinkles and allowing you to reposition slightly. I position the graphics and make a hinge out of blue painter's tape. Then I fold them up, strip the sheet that protects the adhesive. Then fold down into place and squeegee out any bubbles.
Love these Granite Macks. We do HVAC training on vehicles and our major customers used these for roll off trucks in the garbage industry. These things are just the definition of a durable heavy truck! All the guys up the Atlantic seaboard in Maine, Delaware, Mass on down to NC love these things! They are a solid performer and last nearly forever!
Spell binding! My day isn't made, until I get to watch a "Dirt Perfect" video! I absolutely loved this one! Thanks; Mike, Aaron & Dennis! Lee PS: Can't wait to see the truck in service!
For all the work you do on your equipment, you would believe you would have better drop lights to use and better drip pans than the old cut up bottles you use.
Simon says: "Let the games begin". I had a few white knuckle moments as Aaron was putting on those decals (since I worked in a sign shop doing many vehicles). LOL. Never quite seen it done like that before. The Mack is now ready to work & haul. Nice job guys.
Just when I thought I've watched ALL your vids DP.....I run across a few with no LIKE and realize I've seen it before and think....oopsy.... liked this one AGAINNNNNNN 🤣
Funny how you hardly notice the bad weather when you are enjoying yourself. With Officer Hoover and the four just men you could make a keystone cop cross Marx Bros video. I cant wait for Officer Hoover to notice the off side DOT etc on a skew. Great vid and it made my day a happy one thank you for sharing. All of you take care and stay safe.
DP - Sir that was easily the funniest and greatest video you have made. MBTS is a legend! Can you imagine how boring and empty your life would be without MBTS. Take care and stay safe!
We use Dawn soap mixed with some water. Feel your bolts should have been 3/4 inches longer so the threads extended all the way thru nylon in nuts. Safety
I am one of the ones that bought the folding pad from Northern Tool after seeing it on the video a while back. They were on close out and I don’t think they still have them. BTW, I have used it a few times and it’s pretty handy. Thanks Aaron!
I always tape the vinyl to the surface, in the middle with the backing on, so I can get it level. Then peel the backing to the tape on one side and cut the backing off. Press that side from the middle out. Peel the other side of the backing off, and press it from the middle out. Works BEAUTIFULLY
I’ve always used water with very little dawn dish soap in a spray bottle or spray a way glass cleaner when the other isn’t available and I’ve never had an issue putting stickers on and I put more stickers and graphics on than I care to remember. Never had problems with that method and I’ve always been able to install then without air bubbles. He should have used a tape line to get them level lol. On another note I’m betting that Mack is going to be a really good piece of equipment for you.
I once had two co-workers like you fellers, they had to do a lot of work, because the rest of us were so busy laughing at them we couldn't get anything done. Thanks for the laughs.
Mr. Dirt -Aron’s job wasn’t so much the doing the job as it was the reaching the job to do the job! That was just as hard as the birds nest of wires that you had to unwind! 😂🤣😅😂🤣 But awesome set up so fer. Really nice truck and from experience with them. The Mack dump trucks are in my opinion king of the off pavement dump trucks!
You two are like watching a comedy show, laughing my a** off watching you guys go at it. Mike the truck is really nice and you picked the Mack good choice because you can fix it well.🤣🤣🤣
I could watch you all day long. I enjoy the back and forth between you. It's good to have a fun side even on what is serious work. Now, off to work, you go. You make my day.
Man your shop video's just get funnier and funnier, Thank you Mike and Aaron for allowing us to look inside the crazy house, the truck looks first class, can't wait to see it on the job.
Can you say, "married couple" banter....😅🤣😂. Brouhaha. Thanks for the Sunday entertainment 😁 John here, from thee back-roads of Northeastern Tennessee.
Mike you can take Aaron anywhere, it's that you can't leave him behind. Apparently he only knows his way back to your place. His better half has to draw him a map to get back home. Glad to say you're the best duo on YT, so much so that I've told others about the comedy show.
You and your crew are the epitome of the class of workers that Mike Rowe is always honoring. People doing the dirtiest jobs and using humor to help them through it. I have to agree with him 100%.
Mike Rowe is a liberal arts major paid for by the biggest capitalist in the nation to encourage you to work for less and do harder thankless jobs. Mike Rowe is a POS.
Mike & Aaron you guys are awesome that's what makes job's go better when laughing and cracking up with each other , love watching you guys that's going to be a good looking truck you guys keep up the awesome work
You guys make any job seem fun. Love the way yall get along. The bolts on you hitch are to short. The threads are not going through the nuts. Guess i need to be there to watch both of you guys lol. As always another Dirt Perfect video with the man behind the scenes.
The hitch is a little crooked. But I know you was looking for someone to comment I’m that someone 🙋🏻♂️😂. With Aaron around videos are on a new level of funny. Thanks for hilarious video! 😂
DP you need to get away from those crimp butt connectors. They make solder shrink connectors. They are far superior. Get some and try them. Then try and pull the wires apart. A butt connector can be pulled apart pretty easily. They also don't keep dirt and water out. God bless
These shop videos have to be your biggest watched videos. You guys are to funny and 2 big kids. Putting glue in a beard and stuff on a shirt. I hear, stop touching me! 😂😂
What a great job hooking up your trailer air. Congrats to both of you. Shop days are never boring with you two guys. 😆🤣 You get the serious stuff done right and have a blast along the way. Thanks for another great video DP. 👍
If LT Dan parts spreads out thru some of your machines it may mean dad is working with all that you do every day and is watching over you and your family 👍🙏
As far as I can see, there's only two things I can spot that the new Mack still needs. First is your signature diamond stack(s). Got to hear it talk! Second, it needs a name! Until it is dubbed with an official title, I have affectionately been calling it Edgar. Don't know why. Inside my little head, it just seems to fit. Anyway, another great video! Always enjoy watching you guys. Oh, while I'm thinking about it, don't forget to spay or neuter your new pets....cause it was raining cats and dogs there for a bit!
This wouldn't have been a job for Mr. NYA Millennial. Imagine: the hitch, the air lines, the electric lines, the decals - "nailed it!" ;-) By the way, a truck with blacklight - great for parties and for finding water leaks (cloud bursts included).
General rule of thumb…there should be a minimum of 2 threads beyond the nut…this applies to the pintle hitch as well…and most likely a DOT violation…same applies to wheel studs/nuts
To stop the workbench wandering all over the shop, i fitted a set of Drop-In Female Concrete Expansion Anchors M10 in various places in the floor and then i fit an eyebolt in the anchor and use a turnbuckle to hold the bench down tight.
Got to agree with Aaron on the lighting alignment. I'm a bit OCD that way myself. Really gets to me following vehicles with mismatched lighting orientation. Not to mention the fact that certain types of combination lamps may not project light in the right direction if misfitted.

Laurel & Hardy will never be dead as long as Mike and Aaron work together great vidg guys keep em up
I was just having the same.thought !
More like Mutt & Jeff… lol. Mike is Mutt and Aaron is Jeff. If you’re not familiar with them … google them 👍😃.
I'd go with The Three Stooges, but Matt was probably working away on his castle the day they made this video.
I’d do as far as the Marx brothers, but you would struggle to figure out who was Zeppo
Abbot & Costello

Then flip it back down and it will lay exactly where you had it hanging there by the tape on the top. Nice and straight. Also use water in a spray bottle with a few drops of soap in it.
The two bolts need to 1/4 longer for the nylon nuts to work properly. Great work guys as always
Drill a hole for a cotter pin.
Or green loctite would work. Also missed the dielectric grease on the electrical connections.
I say red loctite would be a simple fix but notic😂d the nylocks werent on the threads too
1.5 threads protruding to get past the taper
Yelp --- nylon. U saw that too...
The best Comedy Duo since Abbott and Costello

You are right, also great for installing window tint, I think they use distilled water.
In a world FILLED with so many wrongs, you guys are RIGHT. Laughter IS the Best Medicine!!
DP you should get some of those lights that Clint at C&C got for his shop 4 of those lights and it would be super bright in your shop. 😊
Well Done DP and AARON. You all bantering is worth a comment on each video. Definitely keeping it non stagnant.

Next time bubble level and a dry erase marker. Make a line below where the perfect is in the sticker. Use that as your level guide.
Spell binding! My day isn't made, until I get to watch a "Dirt Perfect" video! I absolutely loved this one! Thanks; Mike, Aaron & Dennis! Lee PS: Can't wait to see the truck in service!
Great video U2 fight and argue like brothers. The truck looks beautiful. See you on the next one.
For all the work you do on your equipment, you would believe you would have better drop lights to use and better drip pans than the old cut up bottles you use.
As much as I like your making money videos, your spending money videos in the shop are my favorite.
Simon says: "Let the games begin". I had a few white knuckle moments as Aaron was putting on those decals (since I worked in a sign shop doing many vehicles). LOL. Never quite seen it done like that before. The Mack is now ready to work & haul. Nice job guys.
Glad you liked the hand cleaner.
Thanks for the shout out guys!
Really enjoying the videos, keep them coming :)
Thanks guys
Aaron's face gets red when work is involved in drilling holes. Sunday morning humor watching you two.
The antics of you 2 is a breath of fresh air for sure.
Lol thanks
Just when I thought I've watched ALL your vids DP.....I run across a few with no LIKE and realize I've seen it before and think....oopsy.... liked this one AGAINNNNNNN 🤣
lol thanks awesome
Dirt Perfect we all know MBTS is not normal. He will do anything to sit or lay down on the job. At least he kept his clothes on. 😂
Tell man behind the scenes if you use soap water when you put on stickers it helps
Funny how you hardly notice the bad weather when you are enjoying yourself. With Officer Hoover and the four just men you could make a keystone cop cross Marx Bros video. DP - Sir that was easily the funniest and greatest video you have made. MBTS is a legend! Can you imagine how boring and empty your life would be without MBTS. Take care and stay safe!
You two are like an old married couple, Lolo. Sound like my husband and I.
Mr. Dirt Perfect I totally agree with on the pindel bolts being to short. Needs to be maybe a 1/2 inch longer.
DP now your playing to see if people are paying attention nice move Pepsi can on the tire! 😂😂😂
Job well done guy's! Shop days are so much fun with you and Aaron. Keep up the good work guy's!
I always tape the vinyl to the surface, in the middle with the backing on, so I can get it level. Then peel the backing to the tape on one side and cut the backing off. Press that side from the middle out. Peel the other side of the backing off, and press it from the middle out. Works BEAUTIFULLY
Bloody brilliant, laughing and smiling all the way through. Great job, well done guys.
Got it all Officer Hoover approved and read to go to work. Well done guys.
I once had two co-workers like you fellers, they had to do a lot of work, because the rest of us were so busy laughing at them we couldn't get anything done. Thanks for the laughs.

Mr. Derp perfect. I got the perfect name for your white dump truck. Sergeant stubby. After the world war one hero dog
Some how Y'all actually get projects done and done well! What fun for us to be brought along!
I could watch you all day long. I enjoy the back and forth between you. It's good to have a fun side even on what is serious work. Now, off to work, you go. You make my day.
Thanks
Great job putting the stickers on Aaron
I am amazed at the work you two accomplish in a day. Love the video.
Can't wait to see it with the straight pipes. I just know it's coming 😎😏
It's always entertaining to watch You and Mbts go at each other
Too funny. Never a dull moment when you two are in the safe place.
Aaron is right. Nothing drives me nuts more than following a truck and all the leds are aimed different directions 😂
You guys are the best. Thank you for each and every video.
I love how you two work together but I'm also amazed you get anything done! Keep on smiling.
You two is like an old old married couple - love it 🙂
Mike you can take Aaron anywhere, it's that you can't leave him behind. Apparently he only knows his way back to your place. His better half has to draw him a map to get back home. Glad to say you're the best duo on YT, so much so that I've told others about the comedy show.
Use tape as a level and positioner for getting labels in place
That should make a nice dump truck for years to come. Well done.
hello mike and aaron its is randy and i like yours video is cool thanks friends randy
Aaron DP didn't say he didn't want anymore trucks. Just no unexpected trucks. LoL God bless

Mike & Aaron you guys are awesome that's what makes job's go better when laughing and cracking up with each other , love watching you guys that's going to be a good looking truck you guys keep up the awesome work
i think you should put a cover on the back of the new hitch plate to protect the lights and wiring from tire slining rocks and mud at them.
Dennis the straight man, to the Mike and Aaron comedy duo. 😂🤣 👍 Nice job, always good to make vehicles multi purpose. 🤗
"I like it!" Love the shop video's!!
You guys make any job seem fun. Love the way yall get along. The bolts on you hitch are to short. The threads are not going through the nuts. Guess i need to be there to watch both of you guys lol. As always another Dirt Perfect video with the man behind the scenes.
Thanks
that looks like a " Busted Knuckle " shirt and stickers.
The hitch is a little crooked. But I know you was looking for someone to comment I’m that someone 🙋🏻♂️😂. With Aaron around videos are on a new level of funny. Thanks for hilarious video! 😂
Use painter tape and a level to get level off bottom of door.
Its always fun to watch when Aaron is in the video. Nice job on the Mack DP. Hoping you all have a great year ahead.
The usual slapstick getting the job done guys. Entertaining to say the least. Thanks for sharing. 🇬🇧👍👍👍
DP you need to get away from those crimp butt connectors. They make solder shrink connectors. They are far superior. Get some and try them. Then try and pull the wires apart. A butt connector can be pulled apart pretty easily. They also don't keep dirt and water out. God bless
It’s amazing you guys get any shop work done at all…LMAO! 😂 Thanks for sharing DP!
You need to get longer bolts for the Pindel hitch. With nylock nuts you need two threads thru the nylon.
These shop videos have to be your biggest watched videos. You guys are to funny and 2 big kids. Putting glue in a beard and stuff on a shirt. I hear, stop touching me! 😂😂
Dirt Perfect ! Stickers not so perfect ! Cool !
Love how you take care of your equipment. Take care of your equipment and it takes care of you. Nice work!!
Aaron is like a little kid, that likes to argue with you 🤣
Nice work. You two have way too much fun. Thanks for sharing, truly enjoy watching.
What a great job hooking up your trailer air. Congrats to both of you. Shop days are never boring with you two guys. 😆🤣 You get the serious stuff done right and have a blast along the way. Thanks for another great video DP. 👍
Thanks
If LT Dan parts spreads out thru some of your machines it may mean dad is working with all that you do every day and is watching over you and your family 👍🙏
You two absolutely crack me up. It feels like family (in a good way)!
dennis is over there thinking - what a bunch of clown car - what did i get myself into. i think i'll go organize my sock drawer . . .
Amazing job and very entertaining. God Bless.
Fun video!
I enjoyed watching Chris's video showing off his new trailer like yours ... 👍👍👍
This wouldn't have been a job for Mr. NYA Millennial. Imagine: the hitch, the air lines, the electric lines, the decals - "nailed it!" ;-)
By the way, a truck with blacklight - great for parties and for finding water leaks (cloud bursts included).
Spray soapy water where you want the decal to go, then spray back of decal and apply. You'll be able to move it around before peeling front paper off.
You two are a riot! 😂
General rule of thumb…there should be a minimum of 2 threads beyond the nut…this applies to the pintle hitch as well…and most likely a DOT violation…same applies to wheel studs/nuts
I'd like to watch other people's videos, but you keep putting up new LONG ones. 😄Good job fellas. Please keep it up. 👍
Lol
Sorry and thanks
MBTS ROCKS!
Great job welding Aaron
Misses dirt perfect needs to supervise Aaron while you work
Aaron is worth his weight in gold when it comes to comedic value 25:00
To stop the workbench wandering all over the shop, i fitted a set of Drop-In Female Concrete Expansion Anchors M10 in various places in the floor and then i fit an eyebolt in the anchor and use a turnbuckle to hold the bench down tight.
What about that sticker “Operated By”? MBTS always has the answer 😂 great job guys!!👍🇺🇸
Y’all guys are something else!😅 such a wonderful and fun video to watch! Lucky to have good friends to work with! Thanks for sharing! 👌👍
Got to agree with Aaron on the lighting alignment. I'm a bit OCD that way myself. Really gets to me following vehicles with mismatched lighting orientation. Not to mention the fact that certain types of combination lamps may not project light in the right direction if misfitted.
Inside of passenger side hitch bracket gusset needs paint. Surprised Man Behind The Scene didn’t notice that, 😂😂🤣
Great job working on the dump truck guys
Your videos are so entertaning the craic is awesome
