I got the pleasure of meeting him after a show in 2006, he was soaked in sweat, his girlfriend/wife accompanying him, and he was more than happy to stop and talk to fans, even though he was on his way to buy food for the rest of the band, and was shattered from the show, such a humble guy.

Saw them again after Koi Noi Yokan came out, Chi wasn't there, and they dedicated the concert to him, I had never heard them play better in my life. Chino's vocals were at their absolute best. One of my favourite concerts ever.
Messing with the vocal effects, if you look closely he has 2 mics for the song, I assume one of them is just a regular mic while the other has effects on it, you can hear it pretty well at 1:38

No guitars were recorded on Needles and Pins. Steph just uses a bass with distortion.
I dont know if thats true but the bass is what makes the song heavy for sure! What does it say in the album credits? I dont have the cd anymore
