Great edit. I enjoyed the sound of the exhaust in the background, not to loud to distract from your narration but loud enough to hear what the bike is doing.
Love this part of the world, thanks for sharing. Yep, shallow crossing is tidal and the tidal limit is 1 or 2 KMs upstream near the Berry farm. I've nearly been washed off that crossing on a bike a couple of times.
As an indian who has very limited offroad secrions and videos like these make me want to move to Oz for a couple of years and ride all around. Amazing locati9ns and even more amazing rid8ng spirit you Aussies have.
What a great area to ride Brent. A great mix of riding and a great practical campsite. Can’t beat a sausage in bread around the fire with beer . Another great edited video as usual. Your one of my favourite channels to watch and your photography background shows. I can’t wait to get back riding and making more videos post operation.🎥🏍
Absolutely love your videos Brent. Having just purchased my first motorbike, you (along with Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boorman) have definitely inspired me to do my own adventures! Thanks so much 👍
Great work camera work as usual. Some great memories there for me. I did the 2024 Husky Trek but had a minor off the 2nd day resulting in strained knee ligaments. I wasn't able to ride the 3rd & 4th days unfortunately, but inhaled enough anti-inflammatories to ride the last day. I'll definitely be heading back down there from Qld again for another crack.
More Wheelies! Brent, as always and as those that have commented below, another fine episode. The track looked amazing, kind of like a mini BDR. Riding was epic, camping was perfect and you had like minded riding mates. For those out there that have not done a ride like this the message is clear... get out there and ride.. well done as always. Cheers from Canada.
Looks like an excellent couple of days in the bush. Yalwal State Forest is another one worth visiting south of Sydney - although the tracks are a little more challenging.
Great video Brent, really showcases how great the South Coast is for adventure riding. You had great weather for it to, no dust and not wet enough to turn some sections into an ice skating rink. Glad you liked the trails, we sure had fun putting it together. From Huskisson to Boydtown is the only area I've ridden over the last 12 months, done about 4000kms of riding and I'm still not bored of the area.
Another great video, thanks for given me more great tracks for planning my next big trip in March. I have already saved a bunch of waypoints in my GAIA app using your videos as a reference point. Keep them coming, that ride looked awesome.
I know we have had some previous disagreement over gps referencing and emergency services, but I must say you make good videos and I appreciate the effort in putting them together and you also sharing the gpx files of your trips. Mick
Another great video Brent! The Skydio 2 and your aerial shots make the story so much more interesting and variety of shots... I wish i would have bought one when they still were available. All my video is just helmet cam and it is just not as interesting watching the same angle all the time.
Got to shoot from the hip as I've only just finished watch your immaculate production Brent. Funnily enough I was thinking about you a few days ago wondering when anothe master piece was forth coming. Loved the music, camera angles and diversity. Love the drone work. There isn't enough explecatives to satisfy my description. Thanks for a brilliant moment in time.
Really nice video Brent. You've got to share the secret of how you get your mates to wait whilst you get these awesome drone shots. I see your not the only operator which helps I guess. Anyway, congrats on another great production. Ps, would you share the gpx? I only just discovered some of these tracks a couple weeks back and would love to go back and see more. I was amazed how the national parks down there don't have gates. It was just fantastic.
Resting up a broken arm, thanks for giving me something to vicariously enjoy in the meantime. I don’t know what I’m enjoying more, the scenery or the editing. I suspect the latter 😊
what an awesome route, you sure can plan a path fit for the gods of adventures... Absolutely Gold. Please share the route details. Thanks for the great cinematography experience..as your usual..!
Awesome video! Really well done guys. I thoroughly enjoyed that. That campsite with a hot shower? Priceless! What was the range of temperatures? Looked pretty mild. That lush primary canopy is absolutely beautiful. Best!
Hi Brent. Truly enjoy your videos and big thanks to you and the guys that help you produce it. Previously I received GPX file from you for another ride which myself and a couple of friends have done so thank you very much. I feel a little guilty asking again for another GPX file but would you mind sending a link to this ride? Regards Andrew PS not too sure how it may work on TH-cam but if appropriate perhaps you could add the link somewhere.
I'm not sure which river crossing you were referring to, I'm assuming you meant Shallow Crossing. It was deep, but I wasn't too concerned, we all rode slowly so we didn't create a bow wave, and the air filter on our bikes is right up high. On the 701 it is up near the top of the triple clamps
Looks like a great ride with some fellow riders! Did the 701 require many mods to be reliable? I sense it could be a great do it all beast to have in the shed 🤔
I've found my 701 to be very reliable so far (touch wood). The only adventure where I have had an issue is a cracked radiator. I could have kept going with a bit of JB Weld, but decided not to risk it through the HIgh Country. But I've done a lot of adventures on that bike and so far.... it's been really great and reliable.
Hey Davey I hear you.... I do ride left generally, or if I'm over to the right, it's because somebody is riding up ahead and is on Sena so we know if traffic is coming. You'll often see me pull behind the rider in blind corners where we don't have somebody up front. But I agree with you.
Great riding mate, holy crap Australia is moving up on the bucket list more than I like to admit. What a spectacular set or trials you did ride on. We need to go on a Nordic Business trip down there 😂 Don't not underestimate the guy with the fish flippers. A man who rocks those is dangerous 😂🙌🏻 I like the new Sound from the bikes, but hos much extra work is it to set it up? how fast does the mic reconnect when you turn the camera on and of? do you need the mic to be on the whole trip?
Hey Thomas Thanks for your note. Yes, we are very lucky in Australia… so much amazing adv riding. Come on down. Almost no extra work with the new setup. I strap a radio mic to the rear rack in the morning as I’m loading my bike. Turn the transmitter on as I put my key in the ignition…. And that’s it. Nothing else. I get 6 hours on the transmitter battery. So I just button on and off on the camera as I ride. Synch is about 0.25 sec. That’s it !
Great video. I'm sure that you could have easily made this into a 3 part series of 1 hour videos without anyone getting bored watching! Those were some big days on the bike in some challenging terrain! Actually some of the most challenging terrain on the great dividing range! Welcome to my backyard! It has everything from hard enduro to fast flowing dirt, twisty tar, lots of creek and river crossings, lookouts everywhere and best of all its relatively empty most of the time. Just have to be aware that there is some trending 4x4 routes around here that attract lots of people who love to fang around with abandon. Some of that single trail is actually a gazetted road haha.
@brentbat Day one is my local loop basically. There are some variations and more fun part that were missing, but the majority of it was there. Day 2, I was ment to do that loop last weekend but missed out. Haven't been on Moruya FT yet. Not sure Im ready to put 250kgs of bike through there yet. Buckenbowra camp is about 2 clicks to the south of the Offroad academy. We rode a couple of loops from there last year and did that long steep exit creek crossing, but we needed to carve a long arc to the far left to avoid a very deep hole that is in a direct line from entry to exit. The rocks must have move from the big rain we had a few months ago. Looks like the same thing has happened to the bolders on the creek crossing on Hawthorne road. The best part is, as much of the great riding you did on this trip, there are many more variations you can make to cover similar ground and keep it interesting.
Great ride, Duea NP is a great place to ride. Not far from home...HD put your luggage in a big dry bag....as tieing singular items on the bike means you will loose some of it.
I have always felt 1920x1080 is high enough quality. I do shoot in 4K. I’m going out for a 2-day ride this weekend, perhaps I’ll do the edit in 4K to compare.
We didn't need extra fuel, we would fill up at either Milton, Moruya or Batemans Bay. HD has a 15L tank on his 501, and both 701s have extra tanks on them. But I could have done that ride on the standard internal tank of my 701.
Audio velvet voiceover, smooth camera angles, top notch videography. Watching this video is good for one's soul.
Great edit. I enjoyed the sound of the exhaust in the background, not to loud to distract from your narration but loud enough to hear what the bike is doing.
Another fantastic video Brent!
Watching while I'm at work, knowing where I'd rather be.
Love this part of the world, thanks for sharing. Yep, shallow crossing is tidal and the tidal limit is 1 or 2 KMs upstream near the Berry farm. I've nearly been washed off that crossing on a bike a couple of times.

Nice work. Solid effort and great planning. Looked like a true South Coast epic. ❤
Awesome riding Brent! Breathing the ADV on trails like this is just what we need. Cool vid and thanks for sharing!

I've always loved your videos - but your camera and editing skills here are next level (From an old-school thumperite in Africa...).
Another great story Brent, and stunning drone views
Absolutely love your videos Brent. Having just purchased my first motorbike, you (along with Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boorman) have definitely inspired me to do my own adventures! Thanks so much 👍

Well done mate. Great trip and vid. Love the drone work through the trees 👍
Thanks for the GPX Brent 🙏out of all your rides on the east coast this one for me is gold gold gold .
Number 6 No dust. Number 7 the perfect audio and camera gear to capture this incredible Adventure ride for us all to enjoy.
Epic ride, thanks for sharing. You have motivated me to get out there. It has been too long between rides for me.
NIce ride gents, good to see you's exploring my neck of the woods... I'll be out making some content of the area soon myself... great video Brent.
Wow guys that was awesome to watch, to have ridden it would have been 100 x more amazing. Thanks so much. Ride safe and have fun😊
awesome vid, that scenery looks incredible. Thanks for the gpx!
I know we have had some previous disagreement over gps referencing and emergency services, but I must say you make good videos and I appreciate the effort in putting them together and you also sharing the gpx files of your trips. Mick
I don’t mind disagreement or differing opinions. In fact I really value them. Glad you enjoy the vids. A Labor of love.

Thx! Appreciate the comments... A labor of love for sure. Hard to shoot a bad video in this incredible scenery.
Love the humor in your videos 😅👍
Fantastic gentlemen, you have far better off road tracks than we do here in SE Qld.
Really nice video Brent. You've got to share the secret of how you get your mates to wait whilst you get these awesome drone shots. I see your not the only operator which helps I guess. Anyway, congrats on another great production.

Im getting more and more in favour of the south coast. The depth of natural beauty and riding is certainly up there with the best
Fantastic Brent! Loved it. Thanks for sharing the GPX File.
This has rekindled my need for another multiday adventure ride, it's been a long time since my last one. Thanks for a great vid!
Yes, there is nothing better than the feeling of an upcoming multi-day adventure... gives you something to look forward to.
Thanks Brent and guys. High quality video and editing.. T.V quality
Mate that was the best one yet IMO bloody outstanding 👏👏👏
Excellent as always Brent! 👍
Resting up a broken arm, thanks for giving me something to vicariously enjoy in the meantime.

Thank you for sharing a great ride and GPX files.
Awesome video! Really well done guys. I thoroughly enjoyed that. That campsite with a hot shower? Priceless! What was the range of temperatures? Looked pretty mild. That lush primary canopy is absolutely beautiful. Best!

Thanks for taking us along with this ride.
That river crossing sure looked deep! Where you not afraid for getting water in the airfilter?
I'm not sure which river crossing you were referring to, I'm assuming you meant Shallow Crossing. It was deep, but I wasn't too concerned, we all rode slowly so we didn't create a bow wave, and the air filter on our bikes is right up high. On the 701 it is up near the top of the triple clamps
I thought HD was a hardcore BMW GS man lol. Huskisson is one of the best parts of the Oz coastline - period! Great vid Brent.
HD bats Both ways… his big girl the GSA…. And his younger sportier model… the 501.
Looks like a great ride with some fellow riders!
Did the 701 require many mods to be reliable?

Getting my Ls next month with the plan to eventually be able to do this kind of stuff. Love the vids, keep em coming

Awesome video as always brent 👌 what nav app you using? Looks the goods
Was using Gaia GPS
Awesome as always...
thank yo for the files!!😁
What a fantastic ride
Nice !! i used to see good content from you !!
but why 1080 ? its "storage" issue?
I have always felt 1920x1080 is high enough quality. I do shoot in 4K.
I’m going out for a 2-day ride this weekend, perhaps I’ll do the edit in 4K to compare.
What did u do for extra fuel please, I lived and rode the South coast for yrs, best trails, tracks, beaches an camping, thanks for sharing 🇦🇺🤙💯
We didn't need extra fuel, we would fill up at either Milton, Moruya or Batemans Bay. HD has a 15L tank on his 501, and both 701s have extra tanks on them. But I could have done that ride on the standard internal tank of my 701.
as always, great video!
New subscriber….awesome video
do you use an active track on drone for follow shots ?
We have 2 types of drones with us. Skydio is autonomous and follows us from any angle. DJI is flown manually.
Where do you get your fuel? I think it is remote place and gas stations are scarce.
Milton, Batemans Bay and Moruya
@@brentbat ok. One great adv video...looking forward for more adventure videos
You are a meticulous planner. Great way to showcase . I really liked the campsite. Are you on Instagram?
Nah. Not on Instagram. Just TH-cam.
Awesome 😊
Just give up the GPS and stop the sign in ???????????????????????
Thats not me... that's dropbox.
Im not sure it needs that horrible music.. Id rather hear the bikes.
It’s totally subjective. I’d rather have the music… and as I’m the editor… I win 😁
Personal preference I guess but I do like the style of music in the background also!
@@brentbat you win? 🤣 I didn't know it was a competition. Either way you lost a sub. Enjoy.
@@hinterlandrider5300 No problem at all. I'm sure you'll find creators who make the types of videos that you enjoy watching. Regards.
