You forgot wrist exercises. Most people forget this in strengthening punch power. If ur wrist is weak and even if ur forearms and arms are strong all ur energy will waste away at ur wrist and ur wrist will bend and hurt when u punch people
Love your videos. In regards to strength training with sports; I’ve always found that strength training throws my timing and technique outa wack and need to finish with some kind of drill or movement that is identical or very similar to the actual movement you’re trying to improve.

Great video guys If you stick with fitness you will see a small area where you even as a novice show professional level movements This will increase and so will your mental fortitude
When you're going past 12 reps or so, you're beginning to fight through lactic acid burn which may get some people to give up before their actual strength limit
Fast twitch and slow twitch muscle fibre... slow twitch just slows you down imo. Leverage is key to power, trying to use effort tires you out. Theres a lot of combinations that naturally follow each other. Like the left upper cut right hook left hook. I try to land the punches while they have my full body weight behind them so if the push off is an upward motion i will throw to land on the exact point it becomes a down ward motion just before the foot lands... I try not to even put effort in and let gravity give me the power. Hip movement is super important. Great video!!! Form is everything!!!!!
Tony ! Over last 5 years strength coaches have become a big part of boxing training . I watch a lot of boxing have noticed uk fighters have developed these huge chest and big triangle backs and massive arms . I ve also noticed these fighters that look in great shape Carnt punch and the percentage of good knockouts had gone down . I think the traps chest and lats are that strong it restricts that loose movement of the scapula and they’re forcing there punches instead of nice whip on the end of there punches . I think in any sport that uses rotation from the hip or a throwing motion you don’t get stiff athletes I.e boxers , American football quarter back , golf , javelin . ,baseball . There powerful but loose .
The upper body is so underrated and underestimated when it comes to power. Of course legs and hips are important, but if you really want to take your power to the next level.
