Couldn't have been better timing, man--thank you! I have the F-GT Elite rig and am looking at this TK rig primarily for the color and included monitor mounts. Based on what you shared sounds like I'm posting the F-GT and picking the TK up this weekend. Bravo 👏
I'm genuinely so stoked to hear that this video was actually useful to somebody! When you get settled into the new rig I'd be very curious to hear your opinions on it in comparison to the F-GT Elite. Thanks so much for commenting, this made my day!
You're not kidding either! I was shopping around for a while trying to price out a rig like this, and most other brands came out around $1300 for similar options. Might be worth the gas for the savings, depending on how far of a trek it is for you.
Highly recommend splurging on a set of feet. I had my rig sitting on a carpet floor for a couple years before putting on feet and it just keeps everything so much cleaner. Like, not aesthetically, I mean literally; it's disgusting how much trash, dust, lint, etc. accumulates in the nooks and crannies
For the time being, I have it on a cheap rug from amazon. but I definitely intent to do that. I believe they sell covers for the slots in the aluminum extrusion as well. I appreciate the recommendation!
Thanks so much I have been looking for more information on this rig for a long time and just found you video, just wondering can you switch the keyboard to the other side?
yeah you can. The keyboard tray come pre-assembled, so you'd have to loosen the two bolts on the tray, slide it out of the groove, and fix it to the other side of the aluminum. I've actually been tempted to do this so I'd have clearance for a handbrake.
You have a lot of freedom to go up and down, as well as left to right. The monitor arms also sweep in and out, to achieve the angle that you want. On the back of the VESA mounts there are hinges to tilt the monitors up and down. So, lining the monitors up is very achievable, but I found it to be a pain because of the amount of bolts you have to loosen and tighten every time you need to make an adjustment and I was building this alone. Though, it's a one and done sort of thing, so I suppose it's not a big deal.
To have my rig compared to some of the big dogs in the sim racing world like this feels like such high praise. I appreciate the love! I can't see myself needing anything more than this for a very long time.
Thank you for making this video! Honestly at the current price, it feels hard to beat - despite some of the inconveniences (& the color 😭)

lets go! looks sick.
Thanks Speeden! When are we pulling you into the world of sim racing? xD
Wish I had a Micro Center close to me. Some companies charge $500 just for the monitor stand.

going to go check this out. Thanks for sharing.
Any time! Glad this video could be of use!
What. That collor is amazing 😮 thats hot
it's honestly growing on me. If you surround it with earthy colors and greenery it actually fits in really nicely.
@@FifthPinned I got a black simlab rig bud a collor like that one off you rocks
That’s cool! Do you know if a fanatec csl DD would mount on it?
If it can be front mounted, it might fit. I can't say for sure though.

This looks great did you set youself does microcenter provide such service of installation
Thank you! I brought it home and assembled it myself. I don't know if Micro Center offers that service.

I like 😅
Could the seat stand adjust for F1 and GT racing?
The Next Level Racing F-GT Elite Aluminum Simulator Cockpit can be used for F1 and GT racing
no, it would take a good bit of modification to make that happen in this rig. it's a normal GT configuration.
How did you find the adjustability of the tripple monitor stand? Were you able to easily get the tripple monitors in-line with each other?

What size monitors are these?
32" and I'm pretty confident that you could fit bigger on this stand if you really wanted.
You don't need feet if your going to put motion on it 😏
That would be a dream! Just need to save up a few thousand for that. 😅
@@FifthPinned would this rig handle motion no problem?
@@johnsoto7112 I think it could, but I've never tried, so don't quote me 😂
This is pretty bad @ss maaan add a H3 from Next/Level tight...
Ugly! And you can build a rig and monitor stand under $500 shipped tou your house
Do you have a link to build instructions, or a video on this? I'd be very curious to see what the alternative looks like.
it looks freaking insane that's for sure and compared to the other rigs like @boostermedia 's, your's still looks pretty race-y
